Parcel returned from Royal mail

Parcel returned from Royal mail. Post office staff did not know why although they had completed the CN22 and I signed it. The parcel came back after 7 weeks with a CN15(b) form on the returned parcel. After 15 minutes, they sent me off with a contact number that could not help. Poor service. Visit an alternative post office if you want your post to be delivered.

My local Postman is great BUT when it comes to parcels they do not come any where near the time that they are due such as 9:30 11:45. It it ALWAYS well into the afternoon. This makes it impossible to plan. I have commitments which I am willing to work around but NOT the WHOLE DAY. If you say you will deliver between these time THEN YOU SHOULD. On top of that it's the same guy - who's not too friendly - it's like you have disturbed him by having a parcel delivered.

Long Ashton Post Office, Bristol

Long Ashton Post Office is an incredible business. Always have anwers, always helpful, polite and they get the job done for you!

Possibly the worst delivery company in…

Possibly the worst delivery company in the UK. The regular guys are great who deliver your letters, however, when you have a parcel being delivered not letters, it never arrives on time, the time slots are too long as well, and when they stick a note via your door they don't tell you what neighbour they left it with and the item reference on the last two were incorrect. I have heard they use agencies workers to deliver parcels. They clearly need more training. Lastly trying to get hold of anyone to speak to is like trying to speak to Pope.

Today I went into my local branch at…

Today I went into my local branch at Dereham to be greeted by the most obnoxious ‘manager’. I was collecting a parcel on behalf of my partner and had ID for him and myself. The ID I had for my partner who lives at the same address, was in photo form which they have accepted before. Today I was turned away as I didn’t have the actual drivers license. Whatever has happened to common sense? Firstly: I don’t like inconsistencies, so if you’ve served me before this way ~ don’t change the rules. Secondly: if we live together and I have multiple documents/ID to prove, then it’s likely I’m legitimate. How the hell would I know some random person has a parcel at the post office and obtain a photo of their ID???? If I was committing theft, I could have stolen the actual license. An actual physical ID doesn’t prove anything. Going forward, I will arrange all of my parcels to be delivered to OTHER stores whereby their staff are friendlier and accommodating. Dereham News for one. I will avoid using the post office. I watched the recent itv drama based on the real life events ~ and it was awful to see innocent people accused and charged of offences they didn’t commit. Shame on you post office. Scandalous.

Requesting a receipt at a Post Office

When going to the Post Office to send a letter I expect to be asked what class of stamp I would like and also a receipt for payment, without having to ask for the latter as it should be a matter of course. These essentials seem to not apply at the branch on Perth Road in Dundee. The chap proceeded to just stick on a stamp and not give me a receipt. I had to ask for a receipt and he had the nerve to say he assumed I didn't want one because I was paying cash but I know why I didn't get one, it's because he didn't put it through the cash register. How many thousands of these kinds of dodging go on? Perhaps something to do with tax.

One star is too heigh to rate them

One star is too heigh to rate them! I will be avoiding a service that is corrupt and happy to damage hard working peoples lives. While innocent people are still suffering the people responsible still cannot apologise…..? Why government haven’t served justice yet shows the scale of corruption. You’d think one one the royal family would assist in helping wrongly accused people since it is the Royal Mail, I’d be ashamed to have my picture on a stamp with the level of corruption.

Convicting people with no evidence

Convicting people with no evidence. Even the police and the courts have to allow a solicitor for the defendent. The post office were judge, jury and executioner all in one. If I could buy my stamps some where else. 15+ years to wait for justice. They would have got less time of they'd gone to prison. FYI, the DWP were going to put the Horizon system in for claimants in 1996 and they scapped it after 4 years before the post office went live with it. Surely there were alarm bells there. And even HMRC uses it apparently!

unethical and corrupt…

The Post Office's unethical and corrupt practices have had profound and far-reaching consequences. Innocent individuals are paying the price for an organisational failure that extends beyond mere incompetence. The impact of dishonesty and corruption has not only shattered lives but also imposed substantial legal costs on taxpayers. The absence of integrity and decency raises serious concerns about the continued operation of the Post Office. Executives involved in these reprehensible actions should be held accountable for the pain and suffering inflicted on innocent people.

Totally Corrupt

Watching the Post Office enquiry on SKY and see some old stuffed shirt on the committee asking the question, let’s make sure the “Judicial” system is not blamed for anything here! Wow so Judges thought it was reasonable to convict multiple people of no previous convictions without any proof whatsoever that they stole one penny and send them to prison. They should be prosecuted. The Post Office & The Courts are totally corrupt

Legal criminals

If I was able to give this organisation a zero star rating I would. I have just seen the report into the New Horizon scam. Where is the money? What a bunch of legal criminals. No doubt in bed with the IT company and the usual back handers. Total scum of the earth all of them, 4 People died because of these scum.
