Parcel returned from Royal mail. Post office staff did not know why although they had completed the CN22 and I signed it. The parcel came back after 7 weeks with a CN15(b) form on the returned parcel. After 15 minutes, they sent me off with a contact number that could not help. Poor service. Visit an alternative post office if you want your post to be delivered.
My local Postman is great BUT when it comes to parcels they do not come any where near the time that they are due such as 9:30 11:45. It it ALWAYS well into the afternoon.
This makes it impossible to plan. I have commitments which I am willing to work around but NOT the WHOLE DAY.
If you say you will deliver between these time THEN YOU SHOULD.
On top of that it's the same guy - who's not too friendly - it's like you have disturbed him by having a parcel delivered.
Possibly the worst delivery company in the UK.
The regular guys are great who deliver your letters, however, when you have a parcel being delivered not letters, it never arrives on time, the time slots are too long as well, and when they stick a note via your door they don't tell you what neighbour they left it with and the item reference on the last two were incorrect. I have heard they use agencies workers to deliver parcels. They clearly need more training. Lastly trying to get hold of anyone to speak to is like trying to speak to Pope.
My Post office in Archway is very very good. The Staff are so helpful particularly in overseas tpostings Where they always find the most economical way to send letters and parcels
This newish sub post office is several steps up from the old GPO Office it is speedy, efficient and all the staff are very personableThank you Archway...A well earned 5 star rating....
My Mothering Sunday card, posted first class in Worthing, took 3 months to arrive.
I have had several letters go astray, 2 containing hospital appointments.
Post is very expensive, even more so in view of the service. Little wonder fewer people use it. You'd think with fewer letters the service would be better.
One star is 1000 much. Post Office is like the police, both organisations NOT FIT FOR PURPOSE. Digusting Disrespectful Dishonest. Trustpilot t&c reads play nice. We come on this forum because organisation are corrupt and NOT playing nice.
Delays in sending and receiving letters and parcels seems to be the norm. Currently 5 days tracking an eBay return, that was supposed to be 1 to 3 days. The item was sent to me with a 48 hour tracked delivery. It took 7 days to arrive ! Shambolic service is an understatement.

How is this being allowed by The Post Office. A relative had her business posted on Social Media and although she was not fully named, in a small town like this the first name is enough. This has been reported but as yet no response from head office
Discussing behaviour of the post office stuff. They criminals, scammers and their old way of working in the modern world is rather disappointing and imbaresing.
Anybody working for such company should be ashamed of themselves.
Be extremely careful if, in spite of warnings, you choose to save with the Post Office. They do not take the money from your account for about 2 weeks & even THEN hold on to it for several days before showing it IN your account. They then show this delayed date as the "start date" for Savings!! This is scandalous in today's climate where you need to SEE that your money has gone in to your savings account - ALL other banks show immediately. They will NOT provide an email & you will hang for ages on the phone and still have no written record of what you are told (I was advised that the transfer date would be the start date!!). They are holding on to tens/ hundreds of millions of our money that should be earning interest !! The ombudsman will be advised accordingly. Another PO disaster !!
Worst delivery provider say your parcel has been delivered when it has been and when they’ve delivered previously leave it in a bin with no card advising of this and if you complain you don’t even get a response. Would not use as a delivery provider.
