Just been to drop off a package at the Post Office in the Horsefair, Kidderminster. And the staff were absolutely vile! So pointlessly rude and unhelpful! We will be taking our custom elsewhere in future. If I could give 0 stars I would. Vile people.

Downhill rapid

We had a great postman last year, and then he retired, gone to pot since, I have not had any mail for weeks unless it was a parcel, they deliver at random times as well. I often get mail that is intended for someone else! This time I chaised the postman down and gave him the letter back that he had posted through my door. I’m expecting some important stuff as well! Bedford is the town and MK41 is the area

I want to express how wonderfully I was…

I want to express how wonderfully I was treated at Calhoun Ky post office. I needed a passport and didn’t know how to go about it. Dawn helped me on two different occasions. Dawn was very patient and helped me to get documents I needed as I didn’t know how to use the internet very well. She was very informative, wrote down contact numbers for me. Helped me to understand why I needed these documents. I am grateful to her. Please give her a raise, she is worth it!!!

Do not bank with the post office unless…

Do not bank with the post office unless you never want to see your money again. It is impossible to transfer or withdraw your money. My husband has just spent the last 3 1/2 hours on the phone and online trying to transfer his money. We have just sent our third email regarding it and still no response.

Paid for 24 hour signed for and got 5 days !!

Paid for 24 hour signed for and I was told it will take 4 or 5 days to get there, but I say Monday is a normal day so should get there Tuesday then even though today is Saturday - ah but it is Christmas - why did they charge me the extra and then tell me of the poor delivery time. No wonder they don't get business, I wont use them again.

If you ever have the displeasure of having to go into The Post Office in WHSmiths in Penrith be prepared for a long wait.Went in there today 18/12/24 at 11.10 and watched in disbelieve as the female assistant pretended to be busy while the queue went to the door.The poor bloke trying to serve everyone while this lazy individual does nothing.\This is not the first time we have witnessed her stealing a living.Disgraceful.Open up another window instead of doing nothing.Needs to be replaced with someone who cares about customer service.Last time in here.Avoid at all costs.

Getting worse and worse. Also the government are waiting for all the wrongly accused subpostmasters to die do they won’t have to pay out. And, of course, sone already have passed. It’s a mockery of justice. Shame on the government etc.

Frustrating and Time Consuming

Collecting my parcel from the Post Office, I was asked for ID. I gave my photocard driving licence but the lady refused to give me the parcel as she said it was in my wife’s name. After getting my wife’s ID, I returned 20 mins later. I was then handed the parcel that was IN MY NAME all along!

Great post office

Great post office. Service that is a genuinely pleasant suprise in our "couldn't care less" society. Only needed stamps for Christmas cards, but the guy who served me sorted it all out in seconds - even put the stamps on and was friendly and cheerful throughout. I left with a smile on my face and happy to tell everyone about the experience. Made my day, thank you.

Post Office Surcharge SCAM is FRAUD

Post Office Surcharge SCAM is FRAUD On 05 December I sold an item on ebay for £379.99. The customer needed it urgently for a party so I ordered 24 hour tracked delivery online postage from the Post Office. I took the parcel to the nearest main Post Office at 09.15h 06 December where it was inspected and weighed and a receipt issued. The receipt stated “parcel accepted” After 7 days the customer complained that the item had not been delivered and the tracking showed it had not left the depot. The customer still needed the item so I sent a replacement, again 24 hour tracked. A few days later the customer said they had received a card demanding £3.50 to pay to deliver the original parcel. I was not informed that my 24hr parcel had been delayed and that a surcharge had been demanded from MY customer without MY permission (is this not FRAUD). As of 17 December neither parcels have been delivered costing me £759.98 in lost revenue MZ266223065GB MZ270207121GB Once the Post Office have issued a receipt showing the address/weight and stating "accepted here today" they should not be allowed to add further charges, especially as I am not informed that they are doing so. FRAUD FRAUD FRAUD. I have sent a copy of my complaint to Rip Off Britain and the PRESS A list of parcels where customers have stated a surcharge was demanded. PO states that if the recipient refuses to pay parcel will be sent back to me. However, I have refunded 2 customers as they would not pay and the post office would not allow me to pay as they said I needed the information on the card sent to the customer. Tonge Fold post office loses Amazon parcels and refuses to give receiept. Its got that bad now he told me never to go to to his post office again with Amazon parcels. He is rude and arrogant.

Foreign Currency Denominations

Ordered €1900 online through branch collection. When it arrived €1750 of the total was in €50 notes ie 92%. The remainder was made up of 6 x €20, 6 x €5 and no 10's. I emailed PO and they passed the complaint on to their agents "First Rate". They told me that the system was automatic, and I could only send the money back and they would provide a refund within 7 working days. I asked if they could send (say) €500 of 20's, 10's and 5's to the branch and I would go in and exchange them. First Rate told me they didn't deal with branch "float"and that I should talk to PO about that. Contacted PO again and was told they couldn't offer such a service. OK, I got a slightly better rate at PO but won't be using them again.
