P&O Cruises is exceptionally well-rated by customers. Customers particularly appreciate service and quality, though some mention concerns about customer service and expensive.
It was just a lovely cruise. There was everything we wanted and being very much older, plenty of time to relax if needed. The staff are amazing, respectful and welcoming. The Baltic cities are wonderful sights and the talks by Dave Wright were inspirational and riveting. We went to every one. Loved every minute
What a beautiful ship, staff, food, drink, rooms the whole experience was memorable, my first cruise and a fantastic experience with great and beautiful locations visited in Norway.
Have recently returned from PO Britannia 10 anniversary cruise of the British Isles which we had been really looking forward to as it was visiting places we haven't been to before, although disappointed they cancelled our trip to Edinburgh. The cruise got off to a bad start for us it took nearly two hours from dropping our luggage off to actually get on to the ship (usually takes 20-30 mins) so was not happy it was exhausting and would have put of off if it was our first cruise. Luckily it all improved from then on and we had a fantastic and relaxing cruise. Food excellent and staff very friendly in particular Akrita and Stanley from the Meridan restaurant and Jenson our cabin steward. Britannia certainly pulled the stops out with the entertainment this cruise it was spectacular on deck and in theatre, you had to queue early to get a seat in theatre even though they did 3 shows a night it was full half an hour before show started. We did three shore excursions with PO and all where very good with knowledgeable guides on the coaches and the shuttle bus in other places was well organised. Sort the boarding out and back too 5 stars next time.
Our first cruise, wowed from the start certainly won’t be our last totally in awe of it all and already looking for our next adventure. Well done P&O and all your amazing staff brilliant.
We are 2 pensioners in our 70s. Travelled down to Southampton from Lancaster on Sunday May 11th for our cruise into the Med. At the checking in desk, we were told that we could not board the ship because of a slight tear on the corner of my husband's 5 Yr old passport. A very slight tear. This was confirmed by another member of staff. This left us shocked and reeling with disbelief. I am not a crying person but I couldn't talk through my sobbing.
We had to wait, numbly for our cases to be retrieved and then at our own expense, we had to get a taxi with our luggage, to go to a hotel for the night. The next morning, we had to get a taxi, with our luggage, back to the port and wait for a coach that would return us to Lancaster.
It was with disbelief that we sat and stared at our predicament, caused by a tiny tear on the corner of a page of the passport.
We travelled to Liverpool on Wednesday for a new passport. 178 pounds . This arrived on Friday. We have since been informed that P and O will not refund us for the cruise, nor will they refund the WiFi package and the money paid for trips. Absolutely gutted. Denise and Frank English.
First cruise on Ventura and what an experience. Everything was run so efficiently, like a well oiled machine. The staff were so attentive and efficient, nothing was too much trouble. Was made to feel very special. Plenty to see and do. The food was excellent, something for everyone. I couldn't fault it and look forward to booking the next cruise.
Staff were fantastic.
We went on Arcadia for a 3 night trip to Bruges. Staff and food were great. Different styles of places to have a drink from the nice quiet East Bar, The Spinnaker Bar, The Piano Barand the more busy (but atmospheric Rising Sun.)
Went to 2 shows at The Palladium and both were very entertaining. (Jo Little (comedian) was very good)
