P&O Cruises is exceptionally well-rated by customers. Customers particularly appreciate service and quality, though some mention concerns about customer service and expensive.
It was just a lovely cruise. There was everything we wanted and being very much older, plenty of time to relax if needed. The staff are amazing, respectful and welcoming. The Baltic cities are wonderful sights and the talks by Dave Wright were inspirational and riveting. We went to every one. Loved every minute
What a beautiful ship, staff, food, drink, rooms the whole experience was memorable, my first cruise and a fantastic experience with great and beautiful locations visited in Norway.
Have recently returned from PO Britannia 10 anniversary cruise of the British Isles which we had been really looking forward to as it was visiting places we haven't been to before, although disappointed they cancelled our trip to Edinburgh. The cruise got off to a bad start for us it took nearly two hours from dropping our luggage off to actually get on to the ship (usually takes 20-30 mins) so was not happy it was exhausting and would have put of off if it was our first cruise. Luckily it all improved from then on and we had a fantastic and relaxing cruise. Food excellent and staff very friendly in particular Akrita and Stanley from the Meridan restaurant and Jenson our cabin steward. Britannia certainly pulled the stops out with the entertainment this cruise it was spectacular on deck and in theatre, you had to queue early to get a seat in theatre even though they did 3 shows a night it was full half an hour before show started. We did three shore excursions with PO and all where very good with knowledgeable guides on the coaches and the shuttle bus in other places was well organised. Sort the boarding out and back too 5 stars next time.
My experience on board P&0 Iona was absolutely fantastic. The crew members work so hard day in day out to give you a memorable hoilday shows food the cabins all very good we will be booking again thank you all crew on Iona and Auza
From the moment we arrived every aspect of the experience was easy, relaxed, thoroughly enjoyable and stress-free, to the time we left. Great food, superb entertainment, smiley, efficient staff, great facilities and our "basic" cabin was everything we wanted it to be.
Just returned from Arvia today had a lovely two week trip around the Mediterranean. Only issue was a great number of holiday makers were still reserving sun-beds making it difficult for disabled persons like myself to even access the pool areas.
After doing eight cruises, this is the only one that I’ve never actually ever gone into the swimming pool while on holiday it was too difficult. Infinity pole has a maximum capacity of 21 people? Work that one out.
Arvia -Mediterranean cruise- 22 June 2025 to 6th July 2025
My husband and I have just returned from a fantastic two-week Mediterranean cruise with P&O aboard the Arvia. We had a truly wonderful time. The food was excellent, and the crew were not only professional and hardworking but also genuinely friendly and funny.
The entertainment on board was top-notch, with plenty of variety to keep us entertained throughout the trip. We were spoilt for choice with the wide selection of restaurants and bars. I also treated myself to two bottles of perfume and a pair of sunglasses, all at what I felt were very reasonable prices.
The Arvia is a beautiful, modern, and spotlessly clean ship, offering a wide range of activities to suit all ages.
I highly recommend P&O Cruises — their prices are competitive, and the overall service is outstanding.

Just back from a Norwegian Fjords cruise on the Britannia, would definitely recommend to any cruisers looking for outstanding mind blowing scenery on a beautiful ship. Although the weather was not perfect there was plenty to do aboard and ashore, would defiantly recommend the Rib Ride in Stavanger 10/10, The food was very good and well presented in the buffet although it was frustrating at times to find somewhere to sit due to the amount of people. The food in the restaurant was very good where the service was very quick and all our meals were hot, although their drink policy in the restaurant was different than any other cruise we had experienced, having to wait to order a drink which inevitably would be the only drink you would have during your meal. The ship has some very nice spaces for relaxing having a coffee or a drink especially the Crows Nest at the front of the ship for pre dinner drinks or a nightcap, the only downside with this bar with many others were never open until late afternoon? With the weather not allowing people on deck the available spaces were often very busy. The Glass House also offered a similar experience especially if you could get a window table. The entertainment onboard was enjoyable especially the Ventriloquist and late night Comedian, spot on. It was encouraging to see that probably 95% of people supported the 2 Black Tie nights, being also many peoples highlight of the cruise. Would definitely advise any first time cruisers to opt for the freedom dining with on board spend included and definitely upgrade to a balcony cabin a must to enjoy so much scenery! The embarking and disembarking process was very easy and well organised from the start you were made welcome. Only negative apart from housekeeping the majority of staff looked miserable! All in all our second time on this itinerary and cruise ship thoroughly enjoyable experience, would possibly do it again.
