It was just a lovely cruise. There was everything we wanted and being very much older, plenty of time to relax if needed. The staff are amazing, respectful and welcoming. The Baltic cities are wonderful sights and the talks by Dave Wright were inspirational and riveting. We went to every one. Loved every minute

Britannia 10th anniverary cruise

Have recently returned from PO Britannia 10 anniversary cruise of the British Isles which we had been really looking forward to as it was visiting places we haven't been to before, although disappointed they cancelled our trip to Edinburgh. The cruise got off to a bad start for us it took nearly two hours from dropping our luggage off to actually get on to the ship (usually takes 20-30 mins) so was not happy it was exhausting and would have put of off if it was our first cruise. Luckily it all improved from then on and we had a fantastic and relaxing cruise. Food excellent and staff very friendly in particular Akrita and Stanley from the Meridan restaurant and Jenson our cabin steward. Britannia certainly pulled the stops out with the entertainment this cruise it was spectacular on deck and in theatre, you had to queue early to get a seat in theatre even though they did 3 shows a night it was full half an hour before show started. We did three shore excursions with PO and all where very good with knowledgeable guides on the coaches and the shuttle bus in other places was well organised. Sort the boarding out and back too 5 stars next time.

Terrible communications is sabotaging P&O as a business and turning away customers

Every aspect of the customer engagement system from website to call centre is terrible. The website is arduous and when I eventually booked the pricing was wrong so I had to engage with the call centre to get it corrected. Email communications were often factually incorrect on important areas relating to regulation for entering and leaving the EU and email links don't work. This is known to the call centre staff and the situation was the same last year. Communications on the website and email is confused, with vital and relevant information hidden amongst a sea of general and often irrelevant information. Getting to Rotterdam there was an inexplicable 90 minute delay leaving the port and when we returned we received an text message on the 1st of July 2025 telling us they looked forward to welcoming us aboard that evening when we weren't due to sail until the following day. We had to call them to clear up this potentially dangerous confusion, I suspect others may have raced to the port. I speak as a specialist who has worked on numerous billing, web and customer service systems for global players and P&O really do need to streamline their systems and eliminate errors.

On the lona at the moment , staff are rude and obnoxious and totally disengaged from customer service

On the lona at the moment , fourth cruise we’ve been on, 2nd with p and o, never experienced staff attitude like it! Totally disengaged and borderline rude, and it’s generally across the board, previously nothing has been to much to ask of staff at bars or coffee shops or just in general. This cruise has been awful. Ordering food or drinks whilst the staff don’t even look at you or respond and chat to the staff members when you’re giving them your order. Not sure what’s going on but won’t be back with p and o after this experience .

Single travellers

This cruise was my first experience as a single traveller, which was perfect in every way, except the extra cost! There were many travellers in my situation ( not by choice, but bereavement!) and I think that the single supplement is very high. Please give thought to people who want to carry on cruising but are now travelling alone.

Another excellent cruise high food…

Another excellent cruise high food quality great service and the speciality dining in the Epicurean was on another level. The staff on Azura were all excellent and we still love that the traditional formal nights are in place and the majority of guests are fully involved.

Azura another great holiday

Just had a fantastic week on P&O Azura. We visited Rome, Florence/Pisa, Monaco and Corsica. Seen so much. Azura was immaculate, food really good. Staff super friendly. Can't wait to return in January

This was our first cruise and We had an amazing time on the Iona, amazing ship with so much to do on board. Norway was absolutely stunning. Can’t wait to board the next ship. Would highly recommend

The crew are the best!

This was our first cruise - we were slightly apprehensive about whether we would enjoy it but it was excellent and definitely something we will do again. Britannia was fantastic. So friendly and welcoming. It was both spectacular but comfortable and familiar at the same time. The entertainment was brilliant. The Headliners Theatre company were excellent, as were Pulse and The Voxens. The food was delicious. The celebration nights were special and enjoyable. The best thing, though, was the crew. Every single one provided wonderful service and the warmest welcome. I can't praise them enough - they made our holiday.

A delightful cruise

We really enjoyed the refurbishment of Azura. The food in the main restaurant was a very good standard as was the buffet. We enjoyed the entertainment, the many lounging areas, although, sunshades would have been welcomed in some places. The staff were friendly and helpful. All in all a great holiday and booked again while on board!
