It was just a lovely cruise. There was everything we wanted and being very much older, plenty of time to relax if needed. The staff are amazing, respectful and welcoming. The Baltic cities are wonderful sights and the talks by Dave Wright were inspirational and riveting. We went to every one. Loved every minute

What a beautiful ship, staff, food, drink, rooms the whole experience was memorable, my first cruise and a fantastic experience with great and beautiful locations visited in Norway.
Have recently returned from PO Britannia 10 anniversary cruise of the British Isles which we had been really looking forward to as it was visiting places we haven't been to before, although disappointed they cancelled our trip to Edinburgh. The cruise got off to a bad start for us it took nearly two hours from dropping our luggage off to actually get on to the ship (usually takes 20-30 mins) so was not happy it was exhausting and would have put of off if it was our first cruise. Luckily it all improved from then on and we had a fantastic and relaxing cruise. Food excellent and staff very friendly in particular Akrita and Stanley from the Meridan restaurant and Jenson our cabin steward. Britannia certainly pulled the stops out with the entertainment this cruise it was spectacular on deck and in theatre, you had to queue early to get a seat in theatre even though they did 3 shows a night it was full half an hour before show started. We did three shore excursions with PO and all where very good with knowledgeable guides on the coaches and the shuttle bus in other places was well organised. Sort the boarding out and back too 5 stars next time.

Excellent Mediterranean cruise on Ariva. Although a large ship it didnβt seem at times to be vastly busy. Beautiful ship, plenty to do, excellent restaurants, food was excellent plenty of choice of restaurants. Our personal favourite was Sindhu the food and service was amazing. We mainly used the freedom dining restaurants, went to the Horizon (buffet) a couple of times but just too busy. Bars, entertainment were good, 710 club was our favourite excellent band. Room was comfy, clean, cabin Stewart was lovely. We truly had a lovely time on P&O Arvia , thank you to all for making it a special holiday.

As first time cruisers we weren't too sure what to expect but from the moment we entered the cruise terminal it was such an easy and pleasant process ( why can't airport staff be this friendly and smiley?). We were on the ship in no time and the first impression of the atrium takes your breath away. It's beautiful. The muster process was easy and we were very impressed with our cabin. It was clean and comfortable. On the whole the staff were very welcoming. I liked the fact that there were still places to go on celebration night where you didn't have to get dressed up. We didn't eat in the main dinner room as my husband is really fussy about food but the buffet was more than adequate. It's been a lovely holiday and I would do it again. I only wish they sailed from regional ports as well as Southampton.

We undertook a 12-day Norway cruise on Aurora and, despite 3 of the planned ports being cancelled due to poor weather, we had a thoroughly enjoyable time. Our waiters Rodney and Anna were superb and our cabin steward Jerry was highly efficient. This was our first experience of Aurora and it ticked all the boxes. Our last cruise was on Arvia , which we found to be too large and impersonal. We tend to ask for a table for 2 but we were allocated a table for 8; we were fortunate to dine with a friendly bunch and we all got on very well with each other. The entertainment, particularly the Headliners, was very good and the guest speakers were knowledgeable and worth listening to. We enjoyed our excursion in Andalsnes, which wasn't quite what we expected. We assumed the excursion would be by rail only but it turned out to be by coach outbound with the return leg by rail. The train wasn't the expected 'Golden Train', it was a 2 carriage local train but the scenery was still stunning and the trip enjoyable. 2 other planned excursions were linked to the port cancellations and P&O made prompt refunds. The substitute ports, Stavanger and Narvik, were worth visiting, we elected to explore on our own rather than book replacement excursions. We can recommend Post Office Travel insurance, we made a claim for missed ports on our return and we were paid on the same day, great service!

Partner and I have cruised with p and o for 30yrs but recently heard bad reports about poor service and food.so before booking a long cruise we took this 3day cruise on Aurora.The ship was as immaculate as my first time in2001.The quality and choice of food was excellent,all staff were lovely and the headliners shows fantastic to West end standard .Delighted as Aurora now our very favourite ship !!

Just completed our first cruise to the Norwegian fjords on Iona. In spite of missing a port due to bad weather we had a fantastic experience and would definitely recommend. Crew, dining, bars and accommodation were all excellent! Never felt like there were 5000 passengers aboard and plenty of places to relax or not depending on how we felt.

We have just come from a 3 night cruise on the Aurora. Really enjoyed it, nice ship, very friendly crew, food good and the Headliners entertainment were perhaps the best I have seen on a cruise they were really very, very good! Had a great time!
