Eleanor and Alana were both great! Amazing communication and very greatful for all the hard work over the last 9 months(length of time was sellers solicitors not PCS) thank you both so much!!!
Great communications Throughout . Would highly recommend!
We finally made it, but I believe we missed some deadlines due to our solicitor (and others) poor follow-up. One PCS employee was exceptional, and it was noticeable that there was little progress when they were out of the office. The portal is a good idea, but only if it is kept up to date, which gives the client an insight into what is happening. Recognising that housing chains break apart, there was added stress to leave some activities to the very end, for example, ridiculous indemnities.
UPDATE Two months later, I’m now being pursued by the service management company because PCS has failed to complete their paperwork—six months after completion was finished. The service management company is now demanding approximately £660, which PCS has not forwarded to them, and they are threatening to escalate the matter to debt collectors. I’ve been calling and emailing PCS for about a month, multiple times, but rarely receive a response. On the few occasions I do get through, I’m told they will speak to Molly and get back to me—yet no one ever follows up. At this point, I’m seriously considering reporting PCS to their governing body due to the lack of communication and failure to resolve this issue. ###### I would not recommend PCL Legal based on my recent experience selling and buying a property. The fees ended up being higher than what was initially quoted, and communication throughout the process was extremely poor. I rarely received proactive updates and had to constantly chase for information, often spending hours on hold listening to hold music that ironically boasts about efficiency and customer service—neither of which I experienced. A particularly frustrating part of the process was the delay in exchanging on my purchase. I had to complete the sale of my home before the purchase was ready due to their delays, which left my family and me relying on relatives for temporary accommodation. We were insinuated this would be a short-term situation (around two weeks), especially since the sale proceeds were held by PCL. However, this ended up stretching to two months, with no transparency or accountability, and no mention of any interest accrued on the funds they were holding. It was only in the final week of the transaction that communication slightly improved. Looking back, I noticed many of their positive reviews are tied to prize competitions, which is concerning and something I unfortunately only noticed after instructing them. Overall, I found the experience stressful, poorly managed, and not reflective of the service they claim to provide
Leah has been absolutely outstanding through a difficult process. Her professionalism, timely manner and support has been second to none. I would recommend anyone to use Leah in their property transactions.
Its been over 16 weeks since PCS legal has started my conveyancing process and yet no progress has been made. They do not respond to you within 72 hours as promised and if they answer the phone then they are rude to you over the phone and say that they have too many cases to deal with. They ask for additional payment to speed up this process if you pay them money. The seller solicitors is way more efficient then my PCS legal solicitor.
Charlotte Cullingworth was super efficient with my Help to buy repayment process. Her communication was also clear and the whole process was dynamic/quick. I would recommend to work with Charlotte in PCS legal.
As a foreigner buying my first flat in London, I was initially a bit nervous about the legal process, especially with a very busy job. However, PCS LEGAL made the entire experience incredibly smooth and stress-free. They were professional, responsive, and clear in their communication every step of the way. I always felt well-informed and supported. I truly appreciate their efficiency and attention to detail—highly recommend their services to anyone, especially first-time buyers navigating the UK property market!
PCS was recommended by our mortgage broker for property purchase abroad, they did not do the conveyancing. It was only for the transfère of the mortgage monies to our bank account which I didn’t realise we needed but did as we were told. Charlotte at PCS was efficient, competent, polite and quick to respond to emails. Thank you Charlotte for getting everything sorted and done on time.
After the most dreadful experience with this scam of a legal company we finally completed the sale. We now find out weeks later that the Deed of Covenant is not in an acceptable legal format. Mistake after mistake. Constant errors and delays by Paige O’Brien. I absolutely cannot believe that any of the reviews above 1star are genuine. Every day another poor experience is uploaded. Where is the CEO and board oversight of this appalling company?
Absolute worst experience ever and it still continues. I was recommended PCS Legal by Easychoiceconveyancing.co.uk. The price was too good to be true. I was buying 2 apartments in 2 different buildings from 2 different owners at the same time using the same team; Megan Hunt and Charlotte Terry. The initial contact was made at the beginning of October 2024 and I finally cancelled both purchases at the end of April 2025. That's almost 8 months!! I have lost my deposit for both purchases. I had to call and chase for updates by email (repeatedly) and I would get a 1 liner response, if I was lucky to get a reply. The lack of proactivity, the lack of CX, the lack of just being efficient was shocking!! Using the portal Movein was even worse, as you rarely got a reply there. What's the point in having a portal if you then send emails?? I am now pending the return of some monies paid for a 3rd property I was planning on buying, but cancelled before it started. I have been chasing for 4 weeks now. No reply, no updates, absolute silence. I am not sure if its just this team or PCS Legal in general, but I would rather pay more for a better experience. I am still hoping to get my money back. 0019014, 00018374 & 00018375
They got the job done under hard circumstances. For that I’m over the moon. My only criticisms are the following. Email responses can be quite impersonal and robotic, causing unnecessary anxiety, and they picked up on the leasehold challenges quite late into the sale process, which could’ve torpedoed the whole thing! However, Junaid pulled it off superbly in the end, and everything went great. It was challenging but we got there.
The worst legal company you can ask for. They delay everything and get rude when you phone (if they answer the phone). They purposely delay your process and ask for additional fees of £700 + Vat to accelerate the process. Do not use them.
Paige was amazing throughout the entire process of selling and purchasing our new property. We completed on the set date and the communication throughout made the whole experience stress free. We would highly recommend Paige and the team.
Toni carried out my conveyancing on a sale and she was amazing. I couldn’t be happier with the service I received. From start to finish she was professional, efficient and responsive. She kept me fully informed throughout the entire process and explained everything properly. Thank you Toni, for everything! :) I would 100% recommend.
Don't under any circumstances use these people. It took 7 months to complete on a purchase of a property . They never called back and always took a minimun of 2 weeks to email back. They also never phoned back when I left a message. Terrible company . Terrible staff and terrible work ethic. I had more contact with them on the last day that I did for the whole 7 months and that was only because they wanted there invoice paid. I asked them to break down the costs and explain what was what and they couldn't do a basic thing like that.
I would highly recommend PCS Legal for conveyancing. I was executor of a very complicated will. Lauren was very helpful at all times. I was kept up to date at all stages. Emails were answered promptly and any concerns I had were quickly dealt with. Thank you Lauren!
I recently used PCS Legal for my conveyancing and had the absolute pleasure of working with Sonia – and wow, what an experience! From the very beginning, Sonia was phenomenal. She was super quick, incredibly efficient, and made what could have been a stressful process feel completely seamless. Every email I sent was responded to within hours, often even within minutes. Her communication was crystal clear, and she kept me updated every step of the way without me ever needing to chase. It’s rare to find a professional who is this responsive and on the ball. The entire process was handled with precision, care, and true professionalism. I honestly can’t fault a single thing. Sonia and PCS Legal have completely raised the bar for what excellent service looks like – I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them to anyone! Thank you, Sonia, for making this such a smooth and stress-free journey!
I bought a house with pcs legal. Communication was always bad but they got shit done. However, after purchase I found out they hadn't paid the stamp duty of 29k in 2 months after completion and now there is a 300 pounds debt in my name with HMRC. Tjey were seating on money for zero reason apart from incompetence. I tried contact multiple times with no luck. After a lot of fuss they finally paid the Stamp duty but not the interest and I'm still getting threatening messages from HMRC. Still expecting contact, apologies and compensation. My solicitor was Sonia and Client Care person who is now disappearing too is Michael.
Solicitor’s get a knock more often than most but I found pcs, especially Ed, Donna and miles (along with any of the team I spoke to) to be sympathetic to my requirements and nothing seemed like too much trouble. Very happy with the service received
PCS Legal carried out our conveyancing process swiftly and accurately. They communicated and supported throughout the whole process and achieved the set deadline. We highly recommend them
