Efficient and most important got our mortgage through in tight timescales - thank you Jeanette! I thought competitively priced for the service Prompt responses to queries and easy to deal with. My only caveat would be that a quote for an amendment to the title was needed that was quite expensive - with some extra work we were able to complete ourselves directly at minimal cost. That said, very happy with service

I trusted PCS Legal with the purchase of a buy-to-let property through a modern auction – a time-sensitive process. From day one, their service was disorganised, careless, and negligent. For over six months, they ignored my emails, lost submitted documents, and passed my case between multiple staff members who had no idea what was going on. I sent critical documents several times – and still, nothing was done. In March, just before the mortgage expiry, they acted like everything was fine, only to ask again for the same documents I had sent months earlier. Because of their failure to act, my mortgage expired, the transaction collapsed, and I lost over £17,000, including non-refundable auction fees, rent, and contractor delays. I also submitted a legal data request (DSAR), and they didn’t respond within the lawful timeframe. I have now escalated the matter to the Legal Ombudsman, ICO, and will pursue legal action in court. This firm should not be trusted with anything as important as your property or finances. They are evasive, unaccountable, and treat clients with total disregard. Avoid PCS Legal at all costs. They have caused me stress, loss, and serious disruption to my family and business.

Lauren Sweeney was brilliant from day one. She took the time to explain things clearly and she kept everything moving without a hitch. She made it feel manageable and even enjoyable.

My experience with PCS Legal is a tale of two halves. PCS Legal are a firm which take on lots of clients. They were the cheapest option for me, but the system they have in place means that they go through cases in strict order, and won't look at your case until it is the top of the pile, which meant in my case we has completed searches for the property but were delayed from moving forward because my file wasn't getting looked at, which was frustrating. Eventually, we managed to get them to look at it, and since then they have been brilliant, very responsive and helpful. Communication is largely over email and it is difficult to get in contact with a specific person, but overall they did a good job at completing the property purchase as required.

I honestly cannot recommend Aidan Mclaren highly enough. When a major issue came to light with my title deed due to incorrect plans provided by the builder. I found myself in an incredibly stressful and uncertain situation. Aidan stepped in midway through the process and, from the very first moment, took full ownership with calm confidence and genuine care. At a time when I felt completely overwhelmed and was receiving little to no support from the builder's solicitor, Aidan became the steady hand I desperately needed. His persistence was extraordinary. Despite facing repeated setbacks and poor communication from the other side, he never once backed down. Instead, he pursued every angle with tenacity, professionalism, and a level of empathy that truly set him apart. Taking over from a colleague, Aidan didn't just continue the casehe elevated it. He made sure I felt informed, supported, and reassured every step of the way. What could have been a drawn-out, emotionally draining ordeal was transformed into a process I could trust, thanks entirely to his dedication. This wasn't just excellent legal service, it was heartfelt support at a time I needed it most.

Please proceed with them only if you're willing to risk unnecessary delays, poor communication, and potentially jeopardizing your deal. In our case, we somehow managed to complete the transaction, but it has now been over three months and we still haven’t received our title deed. Despite repeated follow-ups via email and phone over the past three months, we’ve received no response. This even after marking client support team on the email. You can get the gist if the client support is not taking matter seriously, why the conveyancing team would be. I would strongly advise against engaging them for any work—it’s simply not worth your time or the frustration.

I’m a first time buyer and had no idea what I was doing. I was under Paige and Maddy. From day one they have been nothing but friendly, helpful, professional, prompt, always happy to take my call when I needed advice, even the smallest questions, and check or chase something for me. 9 times out of 10 I would get a response to a query within the hour. I can’t thank them enough, as they have made what is a daunting and stressful process, so much nicer.
