Booked a collection. Was given a 2 hour expected collection time. Was in my garage getting it ready for collection. They rung my doorbell and 60 seconds later left. It takes me that to walk from my garage. After speaking to paisley freight the supervisor is rude and unhelpful. Would not recommend

I recently sent two bikes with them via…

I recently sent two bikes with them via their courier partner. I couldn't believe the damage that was inflicted to both bikes on separate occasions. I seen photos of the damage and I must admit it was shocking. The bikes where properly packed up in bike boxes with internal wrapping for more protection. I have sent bikes in the past with no problems until now. Both of these bikes where practically brand new as well. One of the pictures it looked like the box had been run over by a lorry? That was bad enough but what was really terrible was the lack of support and negative responses from them about trying to resolve this or indeed make a farcical claim through their so called insurance, it looked liked you had a form to fill in that asked everything from you which wasn't really all that relevant in my mind? My feeling is that this was to put you off claiming (maximum £100)? Anyway shocking service from them recently and would never use them again.

Late collection, no communication, late delivery, unacceptable.

My shipment of 4 alloy wheels was not collected on the day arranged (Monday). They finally collected on Tuesday lunchtime. The delivery did not then happen until the Wednesday. I had paid for the delivery to take place on the Tuesday. No apology, no offer of compensation, no communication to me at all to let me know collection would be late. Turns out they subcontracted to another company. My buyer very unhappy as his wife had stayed home all day on Tuesday. I asked Paisley Freight to contact my buyer to explain the situation and apologise but they did nothing.

I booked alloys to be delivered , APC driver comes to collect the alloys and say wow its more than 10kg each wheel who's going to pay for it ???? Lasy driver shouldn't even had any comment

lies and more lies

Used to use Paisley Freight all the time and recommend them to friends and family, but there service was nothing short of awful - AVOID!! I certainly won`t be using them again - you have been warned... Booked a pallet service, for an engine to be collected, this service was not the cheapest by no means, I had quotes from other courier firms that were cheaper but I had used paisley freight in the past and hadn’t had any issues, so I thought I pay the extra and use them again for peace of mind... Pallet arranged for collection on the Monday, waited till the Wednesday and decided to give them a ring, as there online tracking doesn’t work! Spoke to a lady who said they had tried to collect the pallet but no one was there, and I was asked if I would like to rebook it for the following day, which I agreed, I then waited a few days and thought I had better to give them another ring to make sure everything was ok... Spoke to a very rude lady who told me they had tried to collect the pallet again but no one was there, I was told they would try to collect one more time and then I would be charged extra if they had to go back... At this point I decided to ring the seller and ask what the hell was going on, (it had been over a week since I had arranged for the pallet to be collected) the seller then explains to me they had tried to collect the parcel (they rang him up at 6:15pm and said they were half an hour away) he explained he wasn’t going to be there and also stated there collection times state collection between 8pm and 6pm. There had been no second attempt to collect it, he had been there all day, and he also sent a screen shot photo of when they rang him for proof... After this myself and the seller both rang them, the lady on the phone was still adamant no one had been in to collect the pallet... strangely it got collected the same day! V poor service and constant lies

I was a bit sceptical as I'd read a few bad reviews. However decided to give Paisley Freight a go and the result = Amazed. Very easy to book and kept updated. My items arrived well within 24 hours and I'm really happy with the service. Thank you.

Had never heard of this company until I…

Had never heard of this company until I searched for ‘bike delivery uk’ on google and stumbled across them. Cheaper than parcel force and hassle free experience from beginning to end. Had sold a bike on eBay and had it delivered by this company. Door to door Scotland to London in 23 hours. Great service

Sent a rare bicycle via this lot

Sent a rare bicycle via this lot. Packed really well. The mudguard, wrapped in lots of bubble wrap and packed tight in the box, arrived looking as if someone had taken a hammer to it. As I could not provide an image of the damage to the inside of the box from enough angles or show how it was packed (everyone takes photos of that), they dodged the claim. Well, actually, they dragged out the email exchange until the claim time limit expired. When I asked for the contact details of a superior they simply refused to answer my mails. I wouldn't trust these ham-fisted cave dwellers to deliver a block of lead undamaged. Avoid like the plague. And Paisleys' response just shows how much they don't care. It's just words. Apologies and sympathy don't fix mangled bike parts.
