Booked a collection

Booked a collection. Was given a 2 hour expected collection time. Was in my garage getting it ready for collection. They rung my doorbell and 60 seconds later left. It takes me that to walk from my garage. After speaking to paisley freight the supervisor is rude and unhelpful. Would not recommend

I recently sent two bikes with them via…

I recently sent two bikes with them via their courier partner. I couldn't believe the damage that was inflicted to both bikes on separate occasions. I seen photos of the damage and I must admit it was shocking. The bikes where properly packed up in bike boxes with internal wrapping for more protection. I have sent bikes in the past with no problems until now. Both of these bikes where practically brand new as well. One of the pictures it looked like the box had been run over by a lorry? That was bad enough but what was really terrible was the lack of support and negative responses from them about trying to resolve this or indeed make a farcical claim through their so called insurance, it looked liked you had a form to fill in that asked everything from you which wasn't really all that relevant in my mind? My feeling is that this was to put you off claiming (maximum £100)? Anyway shocking service from them recently and would never use them again.

I found the service very good

I found the service very good. Collection person friendly and early so not waiting about all day. Delivery to Scotland in just over 24 hours and client happy. On line chat team helpful but phone service could be improved as no way of speaking to anyone and no voice mail either.

disapointing

Booked and paid for a bike in a box to be collected and it was collected and returned a few days later stating it was too big to be collected and my payment was refunded less a failed collection fee of £9.99

Really can't fault these guys!

Really can't complain with Paisley Freight. Delivered within 24 hours from pick up for a very good price... I had other quotes for dropping off front car seats from other companies ranging from £65 to £100, however these guys charged less than £40. Delivery guy took the heavy seats into a room at the back of the house. There was no damage or anything. Perfect! So why 4 stars? I've docked them a point for being a bit cheeky. I wanted to insure my seats for £750 which is £20... fair enough. But as you have to list them as individual items, you also have to insurance them individually, meaning you end up paying £15 for one, and £15 for the other. Seems a silly way to try and get an extra tenner out of you! Because this annoyed me I actually didn't bother insuring them at all lol... and hey that worked in my favour because I didn't need it anyway!

Great service!! Couldn't find fault.

Having bought four tyres from someone in Glasgow on gumtree I had need to find a courier to get them to me in Surrey. Paisley Freight popped up straight away after a quick search on Google and the price seemed good value at £29.99. As i always do I did a search of reviews and found a real mix some of which were very negative which gave cause for concern but I did notice that most of these were quite old. I called Paisley Freight and spoke with Claire who did a good job of easing my concerns. I decided to go for it and placed the order online....very easy procedure. The driver arrived to collect at 2.30, as I had been advised by Claire that he would, and having followed the tracking on the Paisley Freight site the four tyres arrived undamaged at 9.30 today. So from my point of view I have no problem recommending and would have no issue using the company again.

waste of time using this company

First of all they didn't even knock at the door to collect the parcel then they refused to collect it because it wasn't packaged properly and have charged me for them doing nothing. USELESS!!

Lost item - let's see if it gets found

Paisley Freight claim to specialise in delivery of alloy wheels and tyres. In my case at least, they have subcontracted to APC Overnight - the worst of all delivery companies in the UK. APC have managed to lose one of the wheels and now I must rely on the Paisley Freight team to lead the search for this item within the large APC network. Let's hope they perform - review to be updated with the result.
