The young man who answered my call was understanding and easy to understand. However, I remain disappointed that when I tried to complete a new plan online, I could not because Origin has a loyalty tax. The plan I chose is only available to new members. If this is still the case next year when I expect to have more time, I'll go to a " compre" site.
I was advised to wait for a service visit between 1 and 5pm.. no one showed up. We did travel from the gold coast as relocating . Your operators were lovely though
John was incredibly professional, responsible, and efficient throughout the entire process. What impressed me most was his patience and the way he genuinely cared about my situation — he took the time to explain things clearly and followed up to make sure everything went smoothly. Honestly, they are useless. A previous flatmate has used Origin Energy, so we decided to keep going with that. The service was cancelled on Monday as the new modem arrived. Since then, it has been notified thing a headache. I have spent over 3 hours on the phone, over two days and nothing has changed. The modem doesn't work, there is no internet connection and they keep trying to infer it is the telephone line. Despite it working perfectly fine and with a previous origin energy plan and Monday on Monday. Useless idiots I swear.

Origin didn’t uphold their promises beware they will say anything to get your money they ring you up and offer deals to get you to come back then you come back and they don’t honour their end of the deal. Red is also cheaper and Australian and gives you $200 credit as soon as you join I have never been lied to by red energy only origin. Would not recommend origin to anyone.

John patiently walked me through the process of changing my plan online, apologizing for the holding time before the call was answered (but it was only about 20 minutes). His voice was clear and he was knowledgeable in his handling my quries.
Komal whom I spoke with was outstanding with her help to my high Electrical bills she went out of her way to help me find a solution. Origin is lucky to have a person with outstanding customer service!!! Gold

I've had many issues with Origin, whilst not major in and of themselves, the continued disfunction and poor service adds up to ongoing frustration.
I was surprised that my plan was changed immediately and I was notified with an email containing details of the new plan. Very happy with the immediate change.
I did not wait long for a representative to come on the line and take my enqiury. Rovi was professional, polite, helpful and knew her products and information. Prompt in sending the emails confirming my changes. Would highly recommend Origin and Rovi.

The people I deal with online from Origin recently are really nice and try their best to help. But Origin's whole comms/plan/most things system is appalling designed. I'd say it's confusing, but that's not true. It's itself thoroughly confused, with one hand not having a clue what the other is doing. Although, in the process it seems the strategy is deliberately confusing customers. I'm actually tired of sorting out what are essentially their own problems. I don't get paid by them. Maybe I should. Oh for clear, sensible communication and organisation from corporations like this, but I guess that wouldn't suit their micro-managing their bottom lines constantly. Oh for some real regulation, but that wouldn't suit the "freedom" of the "market" I guess (always illusory but any actual limited freedom were sacrificed long ago to managerialism anyway).
