Extra charges and not the car type I'd booked
The Quote from Orbit specifically showed collection & return was to be between 2am & 4am - not many would quote but Orbit did. Since collection was 'Out Of Office Hours' we were collected & taken offsite to Wheego's yard where I was advised that collecting the car now (Out of Hours) would cost an extra 40 euro - to pay now. I was also advised I would have to leave 50 euro cash in the car when dropping it off, again because it was 'Out Of Hours'. My Collection & Drop Off times were clearly stated in the collection voucher, along with the quoted cost. Extra charges for Out Of Hours collection & drop off were NOT mentioned ! The Mazda 6 (or similar) I'd booked wasn't available so I was provided a 7 seat Ford Tourneo Transit van - with 1 seat broken. This was not ideal but being off the airport site, at that time in the morning, I didn't feel I had much of a choice In the end, the van was fine for our needs.

Beware of international drivers permit scam
I am a UK driver with a UK licence holidaying in Greet. Arrived to collect the car and was told Orbit's small print requires an international drivers licence. That is completely unnecessary. I was told I could only have the car if I took out the hire company's own additional insurance, which more than tripled the hire cost. I declined. The hire company did kindly take me back to the airport where I hired another car with UK licence at normal price. Orbit has kindle responded stating the requirement for an International Drivers Permit is 'clearly stated' in their terms and conditions. That is not in my view accurate. It is stated, but you would need to read all of the small print to find it. Given that it is unusual and likely to cause frequent issues (both of the other 2 persons collecting cars at the same time as me faced the same issue - with a demand for 100s of extra euros) that condition should be highlighted and on the first page, not buried in the small print.

Easy Booking Process
Easy booking process - only pay very small deposit on booking - pay balance direct to Exer hire company when picking up car. Exer rep waiting at Arrivals Terminal - 5 min transfer to Exer office - quick admin process - on road within 30 mins - car drop-off took 10 mins - dropped off at Departures within 15 mins.

A fabulous driving holiday
The car was great, new and easy to drive. We took out full insurance to ensure we had no worries at all. We drove from Milan to Lake Garda to Sansepolcro to Monopoli (with many side trips) and then returned the car to Naples. Thousands of kilometres.
