Lack of pharmacist knowledge about travel Rx

I ordered anti malarial drugs for a trip I was taking to Pakistan where I would be outside almost the entire trip, in areas with lakes and rivers and forests. The online doctor refused to fill the proscription incorrectly stating that anti malarial was not recommended (contrary to NHS and CDC guidance). I wrote back explaining the pills were needed but received no response nor did they correct their error and fill my prescription. I then had to go to three different pharmacies and paid significantly more.

Ioana was a really lovely person to speak to, I needed some assistance with one of my orders and she took her time to explain everything for me and take me through it until the very end, really happy with my exper With her and would recommend to speak to her for any queries

Useless testing kit

I got sent a capillary testing kit and the amount of blood needed was just not possible to get through finger puncture. They should not use these kits. I am currently asking for a refund.

Still no test results!

Order ZL 8970 1213 9GB Dreadful service. Still awaiting results weeks after I returned my test kit. Have contacted customer services. Will never use again and certainly do not recommend

Can only give one star at present

Can only give one star at present - placed an order on Friday morning which advised at point of purchase that it would be ready for collection by 3pm Saturday, with 24hr prescriber review promised. After funds were taken from my account, a banner became visible stating that doctor review is taking 2-3 days. Elsewhere, the advice seems to be that it could take 72 working hours - which would be 9 working days (72/8 = 9). Currently have no idea when I am likely to be able to collect my order and have received no further communication.

Mounjaro poor experience.

I ordered mounjaro as they had a promotional offer on, 30% off. The price was reasonable however the service was not. I placed this order on 26th April allowing 2 weeks for it to come for my next dose to be taken on 9th May. According to their website this was approved by a doctor on 28th April, however it was not sent to Royal Mail until Saturday 3rd May. I received an email from Royal Mail on that day to tell me it would be delivered the following day, this didn’t happen despite Royal Mail lying that it did attempt to deliver. No footage of them on the ring camera. They didn’t deliver on bank holiday Monday and subsequently attempted delivery on Tuesday 6th May. I was told that this medication is safe to use for 30 days despite it being in transit and not refrigerated, if that’s the case then why bother refrigerating it in the first place. I requested a replacement and was told this couldn’t be sent until an “investigation” had been done with Royal Mail. The same process as a refund. I have had to reorder this medication from an alternative pharmacy at a higher cost, which will not arrive when I need it. The main problem with SD is they sent it over a bank holiday weekend knowing I wouldn’t receive it within a reasonable time, have failed to supply a replacement to allow me to maintain my schedule and have so far not replied to my online messages and currently have my money and have told me that no refund can be supplied until they hear from their “investigation” with Royal Mail. Overall I am extremely disappointed with the level of service that I have received from Superdrug and I will not be using them in future, nor would I recommend anyone else uses them.

I can’t thank Barbara at Superdrug enough for the outstanding support she gave me recently. After an urgent medication delivery failed to arrive due to an issue with Royal Mail, I contacted Superdrug and was fortunate to speak with Barbara. She went above and beyond to help resolve the situation quickly and with genuine care. Her professionalism, empathy, and willingness to take action made a stressful situation so much easier to deal with.
