Easy for new small business owners to get up and running!

We've been with Novo since Azlo shut down in Jan 2021. The best thing about becoming a Novo customer was not having to waste hours driving to a physical bank branch and doing endless paperwork to open an account multiplied by three for all business partners. I also appreciate not having to stress about maintaining a minimum balance and fees, especially when we were in our earlier days as a company.

They closed my account with zero warning. Apparently it went too long without funds despite me regularly receiving payments into it for easily 6 months. They claim they sent me a warning email about this, but I never received it. Don't waste your time. Choose a real bank.

Solid, Gamechanger Platform

I have been with them since June 1, 2021 and the amount of slander I have seen about Novo, including MANY fake accounts that have copy and pasted the same "bad" review of their Novo experience, is absurd. The updates and customer support have been superb. I understand it's not a brick and mortar and there's no way to do cash deposits but that's something you read into prior to choosing this as your bank. The business integration (quickbooks, ach payouts for contractors, stripe, etc) are game changer for entrepreneurs like myself. I can do invoicing directly through the platform and manage everything in app. They are constantly updating their platform and I pray they are around for a long time. Many startup companies like this do vanish after some time so no guarantee on the long-term longevity. Overall, A+++ experience with this bank. Fast check deposits, accepts wires, ACH payouts, Quickbooks integration, Stripe, invoicing. A+++++. Signed up just to leave this review for those that are nervous.

I’m extremely disappointed with this…

I’m extremely disappointed with this company and I do not recommend anyone waste their time trying to create an account with them. I am a small business owner and was in need of getting help to expand my business so I turned to novo. I was in the processing of completing my application but I never finished as I was still looking for additional requested documents. I returned to the page the next day to complete my application to find out they had denied me even though I NEVER submitted my application. I reached out to novo to explain that and despite even that, I was still dismissed by Maria. Never once cared that I never completed or submitted my application. You denied me without even having my full documents or anything. Please save yourselves and go to a fair company.

No customer service (it's a call center…

No customer service (it's a call center that puts you on hold). Had fraudulent activity and when I called they could not help me, the advice was "let the transaction go through and call us after". The reviewed my fraud case and the advice was to call the merchant and work it out. Best advice ever, call the scammer and give them more information. I am closing my account.

Novo Bank has been a huge disappointment…

Novo Bank has been a huge disappointment. There’s no contact phone number listed on their card, which makes it nearly impossible to get help when you need it. We run a business and have both a bank account and a credit card with Novo, and every time we travel for business, the card gets declined—even when there’s plenty of money in both the bank account and on the credit card. It’s embarrassing and unprofessional. Trying to resolve the issue is just as frustrating. At one point, they told my husband the card was declined because it wasn’t activated, even though he had already activated it. If you’re looking for a bank for your small business, look elsewhere. Novo is not worth the trouble. Having your card declined repeatedly makes your company look bad, and in the end, you’ll end up using personal cards and accounts just to cover expenses. Save yourself the stress and choose another bank.

OMG!…

I must start with saying "OMG!" They make using their services almost impossible. When I first got their Debit card as a member, it would continually get declined, which is very embarrassing when dealing with my vendors, just to pull out my personal card to pay the vendors. When I got the novo (yes, its lower case on purpose because that's how much respect I have for them) credit card, I figured since it is a Master Card I should not have that issue. It has declined every time I have used it with vendors, suppliers, and business meals, which I end up paying with my personal card. What the hell do I need novo for if I have to pay for everything with my personal card? I will be finding another bank today to open a new Business account and transfer what is in my novo account. This is BAD business, and you should not use them. I did some research, which I should have done before signing up with them, and they are not even a bank. I would advise you all to research this for yourself. You will see that they are legally not even a bank. That would never be a problem if they did right by their customers. And if you do have an account, please leave and go somewhere else before they cause you more grief, because I am very confident that they have already. I will be placing this review everywhere I can because people need to know not to do business with them. Save yourself the drama and just spend a bit more time looking for a "Bank" that can actually help you.

Novo undersøger sig selv og sparer penge for defekte insulin penne

jeg havde 3 insulin penne som havde en mekanisk fejl de var svære at dosere pga mekanisk træghed. jeg indleverede dem til Stenos apotek hvor jeg havde købt dem. Det er Novo som selv skal undersøge sig selv så den overaskende konklusion. var at 1 pen var fejlfri, men de 2 andre var der en fremmed substans. Men da Novo er perfekte er det kundens egen skyld og jeg har selv hældt en fremmed substans i mine penne🧐. Så ud er pengene til et firma som undersøger sig selv og ingen vejledning i om jeg kan anke den. Det er ikke godt nok vi burde have en uvildig instans, det her er useriøst.

They froze my direct deposit today and…

They froze my direct deposit today and said there team was looking into my account and they left me and my 3 year old granddaughter stranded at airport and we are literally on the streets of Chicago who we know noone because we needed that money to get home. 3,400 dollars and I have done nothing wrong. They trying to steal it and they better pray nothing happens to my granddaughter over the weekend stuck here. What a disgrace they are

Scammed, Unprotected, and Let Down by Novo

My debit card information was stolen, and I even received calls from scammers posing as Novo employees. I reported the fraud immediately and asked Novo to close my account due the scammers having access to all of my personal information and knowing my account balance. Novo told me they could not close my account if there was a transaction dispute filed and said I just needed a new debit card and to change my password. After waiting almost 3 weeks for a response to my transaction dispute claims Novo emailed me to inform me they had rejected my disputes and failed to reimburse the unauthorized charges without providing any reasoning or explanation. This rejection occurred despite me staying in regular communication during the investigation and providing them with the police report number and information for the detective investigating my case from my local police department. Additionally, I let Novo know one of the merchants verified suspicious activity in their store and a man trying to make a gift card purchase using a phone with my debit card information. This video footage was even subpoenaed by the detective working on my case, which I informed Novo of. Less than a week later they rejected my dispute claims before the detective even fully investigated the footage. This was shocking and disappointing. Under the Electronic Fund Transfer Act (Regulation E), banks are required to investigate unauthorized transactions, provide provisional credit if needed, and protect customers from most losses. Despite my timely report, Novo did not provide the protections I am legally entitled to. Not only did I feel scammed by the fraudsters, but I also felt abandoned by Novo, who should have been safeguarding my account and standing behind its customers. Consumers deserve better fraud protection and accountability. If you are considering Novo, be aware that you may not be supported if your account is compromised.

Novo Nordisk Fonden – Truer børns helbred med støj og PM2.5 partikler. Deres byggeprojekt med pæleramning spreder støv og fine farlige partikler (PM2.5), som ifølge WHO er blandt de mest sundhedsskadelige former for luftforurening. Børn i den nærliggende skoleog naboer (~ 25 meter) udsættes dagligt for ekstrem støj og luftforurening. Byggeriet ødelægger udsigten og forringer livskvaliteten i området. WHO dokumenterer, at PM2.5-partikler kan trænge dybt ned i lungerne og videre ud i blodbanen. Det øger risikoen for hjerte-kar-sygdomme, astma og for tidlig død – og er især skadeligt for børn under udvikling. Fonden samarbejder tæt med Gentofte kommune, som økonomisk profiterer af, at NNF er placeret her – uden hensyn til de mennesker, der må leve med konsekvenserne. Uacceptabelt.

Unsatisfactory customer service. …

The female representative I spoke too today was very rude and lack customer service skills. She was argumentative with me. Her listening skills is a 0. She listen to respond and not to help or learn. Her tone of voice was one of disgust. Can someone retrain her on CUSTOMER service, please. She made me feel as if I was begging her for her personal items. Her tone

Assistenza inaccettabile.

Assistenza inaccettabile. Un farmaco che costa 250 euro risulta avere un ago difettoso e quindi non utilizzabile. A dire della stessa loro assistenza si tratta di un problema del prodotto e non dell'utente. Nonostante questo, si rifiutano di fornire aghi sostitutivi o almeno una somma tale da acquistarli.

Faulty Pen & Faulty Service

Pen clearly malfunctioned and misfired before product could be administered. I was told there was nothing they could do since my doctor started me at .50 mg and not the recommended .25 mg. Nothing to do with the pen malfunctioning. $1.8B company that won't replace a faulty pen that costs them maybe $10 a box to make. This company sucks.

If you bank with Novo, BEWARE

If you bank with Novo, or if you are considering banking with Novo, beware of fraud. I had a business checking account with Novo since 2021. Their customer service has always been horrible. Trying to get someone to return a call or provide a sense of urgency to help you, is impossible. But the biggest issue is they don't care about your business when the rubber meets the road. A few weeks ago, an unauthorized withdrawal was made to my account for the amount of $18,650. Did they help me recover my money? NO! Did they refund me? Not one cent! They didn't care about my loss, and they won't care about yours! Your money is not secure with Novo!

Update on Fraud charges on my account

Update: I had fraud charges on July 24th. It is August 15th and Novo closed my ticket on August 2nd with no progress on the charges. It is now August 15th, I have emailed their company again wondering when I will get my money back...

They closed my account with no notice

They closed my bank account with no notice. It's frustrating because I was quite happy with the service before this, and would have happily maintained a higher balance in my account had I realized this was an issue for them. It took over a month to obtain an export of my statements and invoices from them.
