Have always found Newton very helpful and efficient to deal with! We recently moved from an estate they Factored and they have been a pleasure to deal with in arranging return of our float etc. Never a problem getting to speak to the correct people and getting any queries resolved. The time we lived in the estate they factored their service and billing processes were very efficient - would recommend!
Myself and my husband have been so happy with newtons . We have been dealing with Justine she has been more than helpful and seems such a positive person nothing was a problem which is so lovely and reassuring

Melissa handled all issues promptly and got everything resolved first time. I am very happy with Newton as the factor of my apartment building and have consistently had good experiences when dealing with them.

Although I've heard murnerings about people coming all the way from Glasgow to fix a light bulb, but I do understand about cororate purchasing so perhaps that evens out the cost factor. Be good tho if they checked all the lights during a visit perhaps
Also from chatting with Ann our cleaner she seems to have a struggle getting paid as she sends invoice by post snail mail as she dosent have email and there seems to be huge delay with newton receiving postage 🤔 this concerns me I suppose because she does lots extra little things for us 🙂
Have now had multiple bad experiences with Newton.
They did not respond to emails and calls when our communal door lock was broken. This led to our flat being broken into.
***Please note the door was broken on the 1st March. On the 2nd March, I called the office and was advised I would be called back by our property manager. I was not called back. I emailed on the 4th March, and the door was not fixed til the 10th of March and this is the date we were broken into. I can see that our property manager has not been giving the facts to the customer service team replying to these reviews. If they would like to contact me directly I can show them all the proof of contact I have made with the office. ***
I had hoped that we would see an improvement in the service from them after this devastating event but there has not been any significant change. Emails are now replied to at least, however we have repeatedly asked to be informed prior to works commencing in the communal hallways and this is not being done at all. I have had to contact and ask and then we are informed after the fact.
We have also had issues with bad work being done by contractors.
All in all it has been a terrible experience with Newton and there has been nothing but half hearted apologies and false promises to do better.
The reply I have received below is inaccurate, and I would note I have made clear to our property manager that I am unhappy with the service, nothing has changed. I am concerned to see that he has passed on false information about when things have been completed. My last resort to hoping things would change was positing this review, but sadly no responsibility is being taken by Newton.
*2nd update, 22nd June; After providing any and all relevant information which shows the timeline of events to my property manager, a senior manager, and the review team, Newton are unwilling to engage or respond to me any further. I had hoped to resolve this with them however they seem to think ignoring the issues is the best way forward, despite the serious issues which have happened thanks to their inaction.
They are not even willing to try to deny the information I have provided, simply refusing to engage.
My review concerns the Aberdeen office.
How fortunate are The Fairways to have Stuart Clements are their Property Manager. Efficient, conscientious, pleasant, quick, to name but a few of his attribute’s. Totally up to date with every situation, ready to deal with any problem, no matter how small…or great. J.M
We had a few issues with our communal areas that were never properly addressed since we moved in over 5 years ago. Since Newton have taken over the development there has been a massive difference in the upkeep of the place, both inside and outside and if we want to ask any questions their representative is always helpful and provides us with clarity. It finally feels like someone is listening and the money we are paying to maintain the place is going somewhere.
