Website advertising Too often we hear from owners who can’t reach their factor over the phone, wait too long for a response to an email or simply aren’t consulted on issues that affect their property.
At Newton, we work differently. We guarantee a prompt response whenever you get in touch, and work to keep owners fully up-to-date with what’s happening at your property. Unable to talk to property manager for 2 weeks with urgent works needed to my roof after leaks into my kitchen which emergency roofer advised should be looked at within the week. 2 emails and around 8 phone calls asking for property manager to call back to no avail. Spoke to a number of people who all promised to call back with info and have not. Questions in email left unanswered and asked via email for written statement that I should have had when moved in as per property factors Scotland act 2011 and in order to manage my expectations and nothing. Done the exact opposite of what they 'guarentee' on their website. Shambolic.

Had an issue with condensation in roofspace and to be honest didn't get much help for over a year.
Then Linda took over as property manager and within weeks we have had property assessed and roofing company coming up with a solution.
Linda has kept me informed throughout the process and addressed any concerns we had.
All the team are very friendly and helpful but all
thanks again to Linda for helping with this resolution much appreciated.
I cant rate Kate our property manager highly enough. She was very proactive and thorough at resolving my issues as a property owner. She was also excellent with the communication which is greatly appreciated these days. Thank you Kate for everything you done.
Jamie-Lee was so attentive to helping me and gave me a good price for my direct debit. I'm really impressed. A marked improvement to the previous property manager we had. I now have my trust again with newton thanks to a good employee I could talk to.
AVOID! Complaint on going for 6 months now. Still no closer to a resolution. Invoices incorrect every quarter. Electricity charges clearly incorrect. Paying for a service I simply don't receive.
##Response tells you all you need to know. They don't recognise a client who provides the information on the invoices THEY have sent out. Unbelievable!!##
##If that's the case why is it listed as my account number on my invoice dated 21/02/25?? The service is beyond shocking##
##The complaint has been with them since August 2024 with no resolution. I would advise you escalate the case to someone with the capability of actually resolving it rather than trying to look good on trustpilot! ##
