Very friendly and help me sort all my problems
I have had to request a receipt a few times for work reimbursement, and the customer response advisors are always very prompt with sending this over (Rose, Ren, Realonda, Hazel, Maricar). Thank you!
Karen - An excellent Customer Service Representative. I needed help with paying drop off charges for Gatwick. The online forms and automated number weren't working. The deadline had passed as well and I couldn't get through to any automated channels. When I phoned NCP and explained the situation to Karen who kindly helped and made sure that I could pay and didn't have to wait for my PCN. Thank you for your excellent and friendly service
Quick response with a human being, who understood the issue and solution
UPDATE: NCP got in touch with us and refunded £110 and charged us £60, so changed to 4 stars! Original review: We parked in an NCP car park where every single payment machine was out of order — all were covered with black cloth and unusable. There were no signs giving instructions what to do next, and after checking around, we noticed none of the cars had tickets displayed. We assumed parking was temporarily free or not enforced. To be safe, we took a photo of the covered machine in case any issues came up later. Months later, we noticed that we received a parking fine along with a few notices from Trace Debt collectors — but only discovered them after the appeal period had passed because all the notices arrived in plain envelopes that looked just like any other junk mail. Like most people, we get several unmarked letters a week, so it's so easy to miss them. Even our kids said "they could make it a bit obvious that it's an important letter - do they want us to miss it on purpose so they get more money". Having digging through all the notices we realised our fine went up to £170 as it had been some time and we were seen as "ignoring the fines". When we contacted both NCP and the agency explaining our case, we were told there was nothing they could do because we hadn’t appealed within the 28-day window — even though we didn’t know it was a parking notice in the first place. We fully understand the importance of following parking rules, but this was not a case of ignoring a fine — it was poor communication and a lack of transparency. Some simple improvements like using clearly marked envelopes for parking fines and increasing the payment/appeal time to at least 2 months would prevent this situation entirely and seem more just. Instead, the whole system feels like it's designed to catch people out, not help them resolve honest mistakes.
Dreadful people. My wife paid nearly £12 for parking but got a £100 fine for accidentally putting around £2 to little due to very unclear pricing. In any cass a very poor carpark, no lighting working, still has a ticket booth on entry which makes the exit extremely tight. Needless to say, will never be using an NCP carpark ever again.
Larry was very helpful answering all my questions plus he kindly sent a copy of my receipt. He was both professional and friendly in his manner.
Very helpfull
I momentarily forgot I was driving a courtesy car and booked my actual car in for parking. Worrying about a fine for booking the wrong car in, I reached out to NPC and Rolly helped and made sure I wouldn't receive a fine for making that mistake which was helpful! Another company would have used it as an opportunity to send me a chunky fine.
Very helpful staff member, Hazel, on the other end
Had an accidental drive through drop off area due to bad signage and sat nav and got refunded the fee without any issues. Very straight forward process as long as you have proof. Thank you
Excellent service call.
Gel your colleague via virtual chat helped me out by being super helpful when I used the wrong car registration when parking- they went out of the way to help me and correct and using a nice gesture of good will to fix a problem. This made sure to not ruin Father’s Day! Well done Gel and thank you

NCP National Car Parks receives high praise for its helpful customer service, with many reviewers highlighting the efficiency and attentiveness of staff members like Kayleigh and Rham in resolving issues. Customers appreciate the prompt handling of problems, with several noting that their concerns were addressed swiftly and fairly. However, there are notable complaints regarding the parking system, particularly the QR code functionality, which many find frustrating and unreliable. Additionally, some users express dissatisfaction with recent fee changes, especially at Birmingham Airport, where previously free drop-off services now incur charges. Despite these criticisms, the overall sentiment remains positive, with a strong emphasis on the quality of customer support.
