    Made my cat desperately sick

    My indoor cat has been eating this food for 3 days and has become desperately sick with projectile vomiting and diahorrea. Back to Blink for me as soon as he is able to eat again. I've seen multiple reviews online with mould issues for the dog food and wonder if this has extended to their cat food?

    Excellent natural food

    I just wanted to say that my very fussy 2 year old shih tzu cross has been on Naturo for the last year and she loves the food and cleans the plate every time. It smells like home cooked food and if you read the list of ingredients it is all natural, of excellent quality, with no nasties. My dog has also never had any stomach problems on this food, so overall we are very happy customers.

    I have fed my dog's naturo for 3 years…

    I have fed my dog's naturo for 3 years and subscribed to regular deliveries in Jan 2022 as my local Tesco stopped stocking dry food and I feed both wet and dry. I have not had a problem up until recently when part 2 of my parcel went missing. After 3 weeks of back and forth over non deliveries I am pleased to say I have received a full refund.

    Excellent Food

    I have used Naturo exclusively now for about two years. I have two Golden Retrievers who both love and are thriving on this food. I use a mixture of both wet and dry and the quality of it is excellent. Any time I have had reason to contact customer services they have been more than helpful which, apart from the quality of the food, makes me stay loyal to this brand. I dont understand and am actually surprised at the negative reviews especially regarding the quality of food and customer service which in my experience have been exceptional. I do agree with a few of the comments that the cans do arrive 'dented' at times but I always make sure that they are completely sealed and have never had to waste any because of this problem.

    Beware!

    They seem to have set me up on some automated re-order which I did not agree to, no communication was received, it was only when the money was taken from My bank that I was aware. My dog won’t eat the food and some of the packaging arrived dirty with old dried up food on the outside of the container, which was concerning - what are their hygiene standards like!

    Tummy Trouble...

    Unfortunately two of my shih tzu will not take one bite, the other one has had chronic wretching and diarrhoea since eating this. Most dogs have a reaction to changes in food, but this is ridiculous. I have hard to throw most of a box of this away. If your animals share your bedroom, have the bowl of disinfectant ready.

    My dogs love the tins

    My dogs love the tins, and I like the fact I can put the tins in my recycling bin afterwards. The problem I’ve had on quite a few occasions is the ring pull snaps off and flies off before I’ve opened the can. I’m disabled so use a plastic device for lifting and pulling the top of the can off. I’ve never had this problem with any other ring pull cans. It bends the can which then makes it really hard to open with a can opener. I’ve had to bin a full can more than once. Please don’t suggest I use the trays, as I can’t recycle that type of plastic with my council.

    Badly packaged

    I haven’t checked the food yet but was very disappointed that MOST of the cans I ordered were dented some extremely badly. Think I stick with my regular company that I use next time

    Mouldy

    Dogs love the food in general but about 1 in every 5 or 6 packs have mould in them. I've seen other people say this too and the company seems to blame retailers, storage and distribution but I've tried lots of different brands of dogs over the years and never had a problem with mouldy food. I think this need looking in to further whether its their packaging, preservatives, treatment etc. I'll use up what I've got but won't get again and I'll just be extra careful to check each packet before giving my dog!

    Steer clear! Very bad customer service

    Wish I’d read the reviews before I ordered Naturo dog food! The “sensitive” salmon upset my lab’s stomach as did the lamb and duck recipes. When I contacted customer services they were very uninterested and unhelpful and REFUSED to cancel my subscription! Had to get my bank involved. Terrible food and even worse customer service. I recommend you steer clear of Naturo/Dungannon GB.

    My dog got ill from the food

    My dog got ill from the food. When investigate i saw some kind of white mold in the lamb and salmon food in the whole 12 pack. The chicken was all right. But whole packs of lamb and Salmon were off. I reported to the customer service and i was told to receive a refund a month ago and still haven’t received it! Very poor service with awful food! Never ever again!

    No info on package about production to back up claim it is healthy

    I understand that to preserve this wet dog food/ extend shelf life of its meat content for over 1 year it has to be ultra heat treated which creates toxins . I cannot see any info on the packaging which tells me what process is used to preserve this meat for so long. I'd like this info in order to make an informed choice. I think many people would as pet food is now one of the biggest nutritional scams. Thank you

    Dreadful customer service

    My dog liked Naturo but on 2 occasions the food was mouldy even though it was still in date by over a year!!! I have emailed the company twice but no reply I also sent photos of the blue mould food. I would advise people to avoid supporting this company as they have no respect for the people that pay their wages.

    I am giving one star solely on the fact…

    I am giving one star solely on the fact that my dog enjoyed the food until I had problems with mould. I bought my packs of 6 regularly from Morrisons. In Sept 2021 I opened one of the trays and tipped it into the dish to discover the whole of the base was a thick layer of green mould. I took photos and reported it. In fairness they got back to me pretty quickly to say they would investigate although after 3 weeks I had to chase up the response. Eventually they got back to me and told me that the daily was with the distributor. No advice as to what to do next, no apology. I gave them the benefit of doubt as my dog was enjoying the food but switched to Asda to buy the food. Surprise surprise I had two further boxes with at least two packs of mouldy food. I wrote again, received the “we will get back to you” email and nothing since! Totally ignored me. I must add that my dog had been sick prior to the first incident. No idea if it was linked but it does make me wonder. I’ve now switched food. I have never left a negative response on anything before but after seeing that others have had the same issue then I felt it fair to warn people. I am debating referring to Food Standards Agency as I have photos, serial numbers and copies of all emails.

    I too have had problems with mouldy dog…

    I too have had problems with mouldy dog food from this company. I too sent photos of 2 tins from a pack of 6. They were really mouldy. Goodness knows what harm could've been caused to my pet. I'm 15 days into their 21 day policy for replying. I'll add to this once they've replied, but I cannot see how they need 3 weeks when they've seen photographs of the items.

    Naturo USED to be a great company to…

    Naturo USED to be a great company to deal with ,unfortunately i can no longer say this. Having had some issues with their new subscription service where i was charged treble the delivery when it should have been free i contacted their customer 'care' service. Well ,long story short they don't care and would rather lose a customer than admit when they've messed up. The response i got ,i use that term very loosely ,was at best condescending. Certainly not how i would treat one of my customers that was spending £2K + a year on one of my products. And as other reviewers have said below ,the deliveries were regularly damaged. To be fair when i complained i was given a free crate but the packaging never did improve and it's been an ongoing problem since. Going forwards i will be taking my custom elsewhere.
