Great quality food. Delivery was a bit disappointing as, even though I was home, the driver left it on the porch. He didn’t knock or ring the bell.

Not really impressed with the Sirloin steak that i ordered . It was really tough and not enjoyable. Hubby is going to try the rib eye tonight and I will try the pork and apple sausages. To be honest they don't look as good as the butcher's ones I usually buy but I will give them a go. Hubby liked the chicken sausages. I don't think I will buy anything else from you as the quality isn't that good. One positive thing was the meat was well packaged and kept cool in the box. Big negative was the meat came from abroad. Some slaughtered in Poland which I didn't know before placing the order.
DPD had 2 chances to deliver and failed both times. I got a refund instead.
Website easy to use. Quality product. Reduction in price is always a good thing, but overall would recommend.
The meat is great and I’ve already eaten a ribeye which was delicious. My only grape, is that I ordered diced chicken, but it was swapped out for 2 pieces of premium chicken breasts, which is a decent alternative but no one let me know. I shouldn’t be able to place orders if the meat isn’t available.

We have had multiple orders from Muscle Foods, and were delighted at the ease of having meats to create meals around. However, we have stopped buying from them, as each and every cut of steak (and we have tried them all) has been beyond inedible. They are tough and chewy. We have tried marinating them. Soaking them in a Bicarb water solution. Nothing makes them tender/edible. The last steaks we had (rib eye) were extremely uneven in size, (one was at least an inch more in width than the other) with a massive chunk of hard fat on one of them to obviously make up the weight. I have sent two emails (with images) and have yet to receive a response. We had high hopes with Muscle Foods, but will not be ordering again.
Paid for order of food for £73. £5.99 DPD delivery for last Friday 4/7/24. Go an email saying it was cancelled from DPD. I contacted muscle food through email. Got a reply asking if I wanted it resent. I replied and said yes. This was the Saturday and still nothing. No delivery date, No confirmation email. I contacted muscle food through email, Twitter and my muscle food account. Still blanked. No Food and they have my £74. Terrible customer service.
Customer service time line has gone dramatically down hill. I’ve been ordering from MF for about 10 years, DPD didn’t deliver my order on Wednesday. It’s now the following Tuesday and I’m waiting for MF to resend the near £200 order. They sent an email on Monday to confirm my email address, which is taking over 24 hours for them to acknowledge my address and resend the parcel. I’m considering looking elsewhere due to this customer service. Very disappointed. Edit: order was planned to be delivered 10 days after the issue.
My order was dropped off by DPD outside my house, left on the street whilst I was at work without knocking or ringing the bell and inevitable by the time I went on break at work and saw the message to tell my wife to check, it was gone (stolen). I messaged MF instantly via their very poor Automated Chat function which ended up with them just taking my email to reply to when they could. I got a reply within the same day of a photo of the package on the street at the front door and with a minimalistic response asking if I had left DPD any instructions (I had not, especially none saying leave it at the front door). Since then I've had absolutely no follow up reply whatsoever from MF despite chasing a reply from them. It's been almost a week and I'm now £74 out of pocket and still missing a food hamper. Any response at all would have at least kept me content but the complete lack of customer support or care for a company like this is absolutely atrocious and has put me off ever ordering from them again. UPDATE: after a week they've finally got back to me to let me know... DPD dropped it off outside, they didn't knock or ring the doorbell but they left it outside the door so tough shit someone else took it we still count it as a 'successful delivery' absolute scumbags. AVOID AT ALL COSTS
Not what I expected The steaks were so small and a lot of fat. I was expecting more for £40 worth of meat. Haven't tried the sausages yet.
Wasn't happy as the sirloin steak had so much gristle in couldn't eat it. It even snapped my teeth. The mince was more fat than anything not tried anything else as that has put me off

Very happy as always from muscle foods. Not happy about the damage box, where red meat was leaking out, the box was clearly thrown about with no care by dpd.
Sadly, my review is mainly negative. All businesses get that and can’t please everyone, but based on the below, decide whether it’s okay or not. Was a regular customer, some deliveries had some weird coloured chicken breasts so we have to throw away as we didn’t want to risk it. Breasts are from Romania, not UK like the website makes you think. I’ve not only used to order chicken, fyi. Never complained about that thought maybe oh happens. Then awaiting delivery one day, leave a note for the delivery driver not to leave it in a reception area of the block of flats we live in atm and take it to the concierge as I’m running late from work and my partner is on the meeting at home. The delivery driver ignores it, never rings the flat & my box gets stolen within minutes after being delivered. Police opened and closed the report, as you expect. I email muscle food and explain the situation. They say nothing else other than I’m sorry to hear that. After hearing the same thing from several emails, I ask whether they would also leave it on a street if I wasn’t home and living in a house? Said YES as it’s meat and can’t redelivered. I can’t buy from a brand I can’t trust. I can’t risk losing a lot of money if I receive gone off meat or box damaged, whatever the reason it could be and they turn around and say ‘I’m sorry to hear it’ and don’t take responsibility. Felt they were quite sarcastic in their emails. Did not care at all. All I wanted to offer me some reassurance we could work together so it doesn’t happen again. NOTHING. & I asked for it, but got ignored to that comment. So be careful with them.
