Dom fixed the issue with my softener and gave a full explanation of what had caused the problem. Very happy with the service from Monarch, I highly recommend using this company.

Dom turned up on time and diagnosed/replaced the faulty valve quickly. System back up and running in less than 15 minutes.

Dave replaced our old water softener system. He was very honest, informative and discussed all options. He cleaned and packed the old system and left the place spotless clean afterwards. Very pleased with the service and highly recommended

Monarch's engineer Richard Lawrence attended our house to service our MIDI HE unit. He was on time and provided great comms ahead of schedule. He was very thorough in his service and provided me the old parts as proof of service. He was also very knowledgeable and happy to impart guidance on how to best maintain and monitor my unit. A very polite, friendly and professional individual. I am very happy with the service provided.
Dave explained all the options & costs. Tested our water before & after a new softener fitted. Tidied everything up & explained options on disposal etc. Thank-you. Highly recommended. Pity his company, Monarch, no longer provide the great seven year warranty without paying for 4 service visits (4x150=£600)

Not sure they are made for the real world. I have had a midi softener for 6 years now, 2 years after I had had it it turned out that the resin bed was faulty (after multiple engineer visits to fix it ,and then blaming my header tank stop valve) so they kindly changed it. Then in Sept'24 the softener was overfilling and running to waste. Booked an engineer in at £150, who came 3 weeks later. Changed the motor ( under warranty). I pointed out that the bypass was dripping. He fiddled with it a few times and said it was fine. Fast forward to a few days ago when I noticed water dripping from the bypass. So I pushed it into service and bypass but it continued to drip. So I ring up Monarch. Bypass not covered by 7 year parts warranty only 12 months!. New one around £90. If I want engineer to install it another £150. In the mean time have to get emergency plumber to bypass the system so we can have water in the house . Cost £150 So in six year period this would cost nearly £550. Really! So should i just just chuck this chunk and get a new one?. So when you take into account the cost of unit and cost to date you're looking at over £1200. I'm sure the convenience of soft water etc just doesn't seem financially worth it. So Monarch is this the real cost of your water softeners or am I just unlucky?

Good communication from the company office, reasonably prompt appointment for help with my leaking cylinder. Engineer Richard Lawrence also communicated his eta well, addressed the problem efficiently and professionally, sorted it, waited to check all was ok. Very happy with service overall.
Dave W came to look at our HE water softener. Highly recommend, Dave was polite, considerate and explained everything that was happening. Our softener is in an outside cabinet, due to the rain Dave went well above what was expected. He checked everything was working before leaving. A credit to his work.
