Mint is a quality service provider at a reasonable price. It also offers some excellent phone deals. What's not to like about that?!

When they sell you, everything sounds great. I wish I had seen these previous reviews first. On 7/29, Mint Mobile charged my card $802.94. This was to cover a Samsung S25 and a year of service. As I a... See more

5G connectivity in my immediate locality is extreme poor.
I hate the constant spam calls that i get as a mint mobile customer and the last straw was having a renewal credit taken back when i went to upgrade my plan. God forbid you have a customer that wants to pay you more. I will be looking for a new service
Working with mint has been very good for my first year and renewal was easy
I have been a mint customer for 3 years now. it was time for my autorenewal, I updated my credit card the day before it was to be processed. At 4:45, my plan was shut off, could no longer receive calls or text. I called them, useless, they want me to call the bank. How can I. They disabled my service! Very disappointed. I do not recommend them! They do not work with you. 07/15/25 This is after your reply! I did call that phone # twice! Neither time would you help me, so do not come on here and act like you did anything. You did nothing! You should be calling me!
Excellent service for half the cost
I have been trying to switch to Mint Mobile. It has been a month and my phone number is still not transferred. I have contacted their customer service department many times and am read the same script every time - everything is fine on their end. Even the supervisors I have talked to have been no help, they just read the same script. When I contact my old phone company they say they have never received a transfer request for my number and they can't release the number until they get a request from Mint. Now I have an email from Mint saying the transfer was not successful and to try resubmitting it. I went into the Mint app and tried to resubmit and am getting an error message.
I purchased for three months mint mobile and it was really very bad. I had no Internet and no service almost everywhere at all and I am really dissapointed with them. They didn’t accepted even a part of cashback. I already switched my operator and now it is better. I would not reccomend Mint mobile at all.
Instead of giving complete information on how to set up WiFi calling, Mint Mobile tries to make it seem extremely simple. It isn't that complicated, but by leaving out critical information, like the fact that they have to turn on the feature for you in addition to you turning on WiFi calling in your phone's settings, or that you have to have the latest OS installed on your phone for WiFi calling to work, and making it seem like "all" you have to do is turn WiFi calling on in your phone's settings and set a 911 address, they make a simple task frustratingly difficult. When it fails, the customer service, which is very inconvenient if you're already outside the US, still doesn't give you complete information on how to troubleshoot the problem. They tell you one step at a time, instead of giving you the full set of requirements. This turns what should be a straightforward fix into hours of back-and-forth calls to customer service (the chat is trash). Then, like many terrible organizations, they only give you a way to give one customer service agent feedback on one specific interaction. The customer service reps are doing their best, and are clearly following the protocols they were given by the company, so I don't want to leave them any negative feedback, but there's no way to rate the overall process. When I get back to the states I'm changing mobile carriers. I'll never give this horrible organization another dime. Instead of telling me to contact support, which I did several times (two of your support agents hung up on me, and I already said the CHAT IS TRASH - IT DOESN'T WORK, IS NOT HELPFUL, DOES NOT PROVIDE USEFUL OR COMPLETE INFORMATION) how about y'all give useful, COMPLETE information on your website? Simple, helpful things, like "make sure your phone's OS is updated to the latest version" and "we'll activate WiFi calling on your account". Y'all spend so much time trying to be cute rather than being helpful or providing decent service. All the "cuteness" makes it even more annoying when your service doesn't work as advertised. Limply and lamely telling me to contact customer support through the channels that I explicitly said yielded no results (chat and phone) is just adding to the frustration and reinforcing my point about Mint Mobile being a garbage organization. Why even bother answering my review with unhelpful trash like that? To appear "engaged"?
I’ve had nothing but trouble since I started with mint mobile. Before I signed up, I talked to customer service. They did not give me accurate information. When I called them a week later they were like too bad so sad you signed up for a year. I asked if they could listen to the phone call to see how I was given wrong information and let me out of the plan. I offered to pay for the week that I had, but I wanted the rest in a refund. Again they were like too bad so sad. Customer service is extremely rude. And they are not trained at all. I think mint mobile just says answer the phone and say whatever you want. Because I called like 10 times after the first week and I got a different answer from every single person I talk to. I looked at my usage before I switched to them and based on that I signed up for 5G. But even though I wasn’t going over five with my old carrier somehow I was able to go over five in two weeks. I have seen other reviews that say the same thing so I’m not sure why they’re so different than the other companies. So then I decided since I was stuck with it for a year I might as well go ahead and sign up for the unlimited. Then today I get a text message saying I went over 5G and now my data would be slowed. So they say unlimited but once you go over five, you’re slowed down. I also have multiple areas Where I have no service. Remember the old saying you get what you pay for.
The service is subpar compared to the last two providers I used. (Patriot Mobile and Straight Talk). I’m been on Mint for 5 months and used it in 4 different states and sorts of areas. Yes, the plans are very cheap but it appears you get what you pay for. Lots of areas with poor service. Lots of troubles with text messages not going through. We’re in a rural area right now and my phone says SOS but my wife’s (Straight Talk) is getting 5g. Lots of problems inside of buildings as well. If you need a really cheap plan then these guys are serviceable but if you always want consistent service then I recommend going elsewhere.
I was getting a new mobile number and was calling them to set up sim, the philliphen call center (pathetic) issued a number , I said I wanted to choose from several options they said NO.. I hadnt even approved anything and they were asses about it, then I cancelled ALL my lines with this amatuer call center ...
Was as advertised.
Great service, easy to set up, happy customer!
I love the no BS. Straight forward, low cost, pay for a year, great coverage, and most of all, great company with excellent customer service. 10 out of 10.
Reliable service and good pricing especially when you pay at least 6 months in advance. Would like the customer service to be a bit better, though.
Good value, customer service can be difficult to understand.
Good support
Great service. Easy to use. Always helpful.
I dislike calling in for help to simply pay my bill and get shuffled back and for between the help, desk, customer service, which was not helpful at all and sales, which tried but could not help. Those people are not patient or kind to older customers. Very Disappointed. I left Xfinity because of rude and inpatient younger staff. I hope I do not have to do that here as well
