I always have great service wherever I go and I love the ability to pay a year in advance, save money, and know I have my cell service set up for the year.

Service was same quality as other providers at fraction of cost.

In 2022 I switched from T Mobile to Mint Mobile, having had a horrible experience with T Mobile as a long standing customer. In the beginning Mint Mobile offered better rates, $15/monthly at the cheapest. Due to the fact that I live abroad and only need my US phone number for 2FA on US accounts and an occasional business reason, it is ridiculous for me to pay any more than that. However, when I heard the news that T Mobile had purchased Mint, I knew from then on it would be downhill. True to form, the prices went up, I pay $25/month to just keep a number alive and receive a few texts. This is so much more expensive than in Europe and other parts of the world. On top of that there are hidden fees and taxes that are not shown on purchase prices. Shady. Additionally their website doesn't function well, and I often get error messages on simple commands. I will be moving to another provider very soon.

MINT MOBiLE IS Terrible for Seniors Does Ryan Reynold have parents!!!!! My brother is a senior veteran!! He put the wrong code I. And his phone locked we have been dealing with customer for 5 days now they are again calling us back today( his sister) And THEN they will send a new SIM card which will take another 3days!!! What he has medical issues how does he dial 911. Mint mobile is NOT for SENIORS!!! Don’t they have overnight expedited service????? Don’t buy this for your senior Great price but terrible service!!!!!

This is about the mint mobile internal call roaming add on service. This time it WORKED. Last time it did not work. I read somewhere that they made some changes. The Mint Mobile service itself is great. Thanks. It's nice to write a good review once in a while.

If you want to pull your hair out and be constantly stressed while lied to the whole time, this is the service for you. Worst service I have ever had and my lawn service just signed up before me and they are having the same complications. Highly do not recommend

This used to be one of my favorite MVNO's? That went out the door rather quickly though. Customer support is rude and slow. There website is outdated like there agents. Reading these reviews look similar to the issues I have. 3.3 rating must be the standard at mint mobile? PS: Thanks for your prompt service with my refund also. This explains 1 issue with mint mobile.

There was a blackout in service while travelling in New England unbeknownst to me. I thought service just sucked when visiting a friend in her area. Only was able to use WiFi. Then I left to town for errands and couldn't access navigation, got lost on the way back. Called before leaving to next destination as I needed GPS and learned of blackout. Was told no end known for blackout. Asked to give zip codes, picked area two hours drive away, also blacked out. Decided to get another service. This was 7 of 12 weeks into prepaid service. Told I can get a refund for 5 weeks remaining, never was sent. Called back told nonsense about 7 days refund policy, and they closed my account since I transferred my # despite still being in the 90 days I paid for. Going to try and serve legal docs with damages for hassle by snail mail. Address is listed on BBB FYI.

Great price works well

Mint took my $50 for a sim and a plan. And then FedEx lost the package. Mint customer service told me I will have to wait. They kept telling me to buy an eSIM. Device takes a SIM card. Waste of money and time.

They not only provided excellent mobile service to my son during his stay in the US, but when he forgot to cancel his plan and I was charged for a 6-month renewal, I received a refund right away. Thank you very much!

Seamless change in my plan. So easy and affordable!!

They canceled my service!!! For no reason after taking $200 for the year . I am really upset. So I have to find another cell service or pay $200 again !!!! They responded for me to call back. I called three times to try and get this straightened out and they take 30 minutes then hang up on me.

I've been with Mint for 4-5 years. It has always been a game to log into their app, website from overseas. I used to use a US VPN, then it became harder and harder and now, its almost a game. They want to sell me a international pass but its a game to log in to buy one. Then I buy one, turn on the data and guess what? I can't get into their app and website even using their esim + data which I just paid for just to login again Their prices are too high for somebody who travels around the world and I just don't get it. Do people don't travel? Come on Mint, use your heads. if somoene goes to carribean and can't log in, how can they buy a international pass? Not everyone can play a USA VPN game with you.

saving money while still having great reception and streaming

I tried Mint after 15 years as a Verizon customer. I wanted to see how the coverage worked in my location and how responsive the service was. Now I'm thinking about buying new phones for my daughters and I don't qualify for any deals because I'm not a new customer. It's disappointing that you wouldn't offer an incentive to existing customers to keep them using your service. I'm now more likely to jump ship when I see a good phone offer.

Mint’s AI is dangerous. What just happened to me as a long time (~ 4 yrs) Mint customer. Called their cust service number: 1-800-683-7392 > AI system auto answer’s your call > (Me): connect me with Live agent > (Mint AI): you can tell me exactly what you need > (Me): connect Live Agent > (Mint AI): tell me what this is about to re route you to the right live agent > (Me): renewals > (Mint AI): your 12 month renewal has been successfully processed and charged to your account (all this within 5 seconds of me saying “renewals”). Was not able to stop this. I said No, Cancel. Nothing. I then went online to my C.Card and saw $200.xx pending charge from Mint Mobile. I couldn’t process a claim because it was “pending”. Had to call back Mint again. Imagine the frustration. Way to go Mint. Fix your AI - It’s retarded. Oh, and btw, thanks for asking the customer to “approve the transaction” while dealing with your AI. Wow!!!!

My niece was telling me about great Mint Mobile is so I went on the Mint Mobile website to check out their 55+ plans. First off, it looks like you must have an IPhone type phone to use Mint Mobile service. I have a flip phone and several times I tried to enter the IME number to see if my phone was compatible only to have system cut me off and go back to Check Compatibility. The AI chat line was no help and when I asked for a live agent, I was given a phone number for a customer service which was closed. I don't think Mint Mobile is for me.

It's cheap but the coverage is pretty good and the plans are very flexible. The app is easy to navigate and the international plan I bought worked well.
