Mint is a quality service provider at a reasonable price. It also offers some excellent phone deals. What's not to like about that?!

When they sell you, everything sounds great. I wish I had seen these previous reviews first. On 7/29, Mint Mobile charged my card $802.94. This was to cover a Samsung S25 and a year of service. As I a... See more

Three day outage So far the service has been down, phone not registered to network. 4 chats and 1 phone call to Customer Service-Tech Support. Always the same response and request to perform troubleshooting. Nothing worked and I received the same response that there is an outage and the engineers are working on it. For at least 3 days. I would rate the customer service as very poor. Rote responses and lack of empathy. Failure to identify the problem up front, instead wasting 2 hours troubleshooting when it is a "network outage". Mint Mobile gets a Fail. I am moving on to a different carrier.
I’m one of the happiest costumer
HORRIBLE, HORRIBLE phone company. Run from them. This is my third day without phone service. So many peculiar reasons why. It first started with the fact that I could not send or receive images in text messages. Then I was told that I had run out of hotspot data when I hadn't used the hotspot. Next, I was told there was an issue with the towers near me. Then I was told I needed to renew my plan, even though I was already paid up. The latest is that my number is being investigated for fraud. For 3 days, nobody can give me my phone number back. It's as if I am an international arms or drug dealer! When will the FBI or CIA arrive to assist these fools with their complex investigation? This is the most absurd experience I have had with a cell phone carrier. On top of that, expect to experience dropped phone calls every other time you call their customer service in a foreign country.
Failed to port number and kept money they collected. Not trustworthy.
Still haven’t removed the charges. Have not reached out. Never activated the service and still charged me. If I pay $20 they will fix it. Problem is it’s in dispute with the bank and additional charges are declined. I have tried to get this resolved by calling. I’ve been hung up on while trying to talk to someone three times. I don’t have endless time to spend waiting on phone, only to be disconnected.
Friendly, helpful customer service.
For Fox sake Mint sucks!!! I had heard great things about Mint. I left ATT to save money. 1st: both Mint and ATT made porting over to Mint a super hassle. Mint deactivated my SIMM card because of the problems porting over from ATT. So I had to pay a 2nd time. Then the refund for my 1st SIMM card got mixed up with the replacement SIMM and they deactivated my 2nd SIMM. Then Mint wanted me to pay a 3rd time. All the while during this mess Mint couldn't understand or remember anything I told them. They kept confusing the 1st account with the 2nd account. They hung up on me. They called me back, didn't leave a voice mail and the "back end department" phone number took me back to customer service who wanted me to wait for "back end" to call me again because they couldn't transfer me and I couldn't call "back end" directly. ATT may put you on hold for hours, but MINT can't get anything correct and are a hassle. MINT is cheap because they suck!!! Hey Mint, don't let a bot make replies!
Its help me to be save.
I love 15$ a month to have a phone.
I only use my phone to make calls, emails and facebook. I have been with Mint mobile for 4 yrs and never gone over the 5GB monthly plan. Last month I had to add more GB's. I googled other customer reviews and this seems to be a problem with Mint mobile service using up data. I am now going to look for a new carrier. One other problem has been drop calls. Buyer beware.
I have had mint mobile for three years and it's been mostly good. I have had issues with texts showing up weeks after they were sent or sending five or six of the same texts. I digress, the real reason I'm writing this review is I ordered a phone through mint and used affirm to purchase it, the same day I ordered it I got confirmation of the loan but not of the phone. I couldn't get any information, I ordered on a Friday so I figured maybe it was because it was after their office hours that it wasn't showing. Monday I checked, nope, no information. Tuesday, I messaged through my app. I was told sometimes the person I was talking to that they cannot see orders in certain areas. I had paid for expedited delivery of one business day, Tuesday should have been the day I received the phone. Yesterday I called mint still no order number, nothing, I am told that I have to contact affirm about the phone. I talk to affirm and of course they told me they are only financing, which I knew, but do the steps, right? I call mint back and this poor girl on the phone is doing everything in her power to figure this out, to no avail. The kicker is mint has already been paid by affirm and mint can't tell me where the money is lol. I will be calling affirm today and cancelling the loan and likely going to switch providers. I had written off all of the things that had gone wrong for the price, because I was saving money. But this company never came up with a solution for the issue, never called me back when our call was disconnected, nothing.
Easy! Mint is simple, slimmed down, and EASY. It was like a weight lifted off my shoulders transferring over. I can’t believe how easy it was. I can’t believe how inexpensive it is. I keep waiting for the other shoe to drop, but it’s been 4 months and I would have been tricked or scammed into buying something I don’t need by now. Hidden costs would have already been revealed and slammed upon me ruthlessly. Did I mention Mint is EASY?
We've had good reception at home and across the U.S. (except most of Wyoming - but that was expected). The lowest-cost $15/month service is more than we need, especially as its limits increased since we subscribed. Everything we needed so far for service was handled online through their website. I frequently recommend Mint Mobile to friends, colleagues, and neighbors.
Custom service is basically non existent and data blows by in 3weeks
Soeaking to a human . Affordable we are seniors
