It's amazing
This company seems to have it's own agenda and it is obviously their policy to ignore any medical evidence that you provide. They do not follow correct procedures and copy and paste their colleagues reports. They are clearly incompetent and biased. They even fabricate their own medical diagnosis with no basis or facts to back it up. Not to be trusted and having googled some of the medical advisors involved in my case, they have poor reputations. Don't put any confidence, trust or faith into this company. They have their own agenda.
Absolutely useless. Been trying to sort out pension for 5 months. No one answers the phone or rings back when it goes to answer phone. No one replies to emails and they lie about sending/receiving paperwork. I've had zero income for 5 months and still no further forward. Terrible company
I've been signed off work after having a seizure at my place of work at the beginning of may. I had my assessment phone call on the 16th of July and i was told the report would be emailed to me within 3 days.. Ive still heard nothing.. I phoned back over a week later to find out what is going on.. After 5 phone calls and leaving 5 messages I finally spoke to a very rude woman who said it would be ready and sent on the 25th July.. still nothing.. After another 15 phone calls in less than a week, leaving a voicemail every time.. I got 1 call back, missed it by seconds, phoned straight back, noone answered (again!) Left yet another message and still didn't get a call back.. Finally managed to get hold of them this morning (5th of August) to be told, my case is "being chased now".. After getting very angry on the phone with the response I got.. I told the man I wanted it sent to me before 4pm, or I felt very sorry for whoever answered the phone to me.. funnily enough I had the report sent to me by 3.25pm.. It should not take me to get very angry and express that very bluntly and to the point, for the report to be sent.. I am currently now in debt with all my bills and being taken to court for my house to be repossessed.. I was told there is a backlog of cases which are waiting to be looked into.. I totally understand this but it is not acceptable to just be left in limbo with no updates at all, this is our literal bread and butter..! It's okay for people in offices pushing pens, but actually do your jobs and keep us people on the breadline in the loop..! Rubbish customer service, noone answers the phone!!
On two occasions male "customer service" advisors gave me incorrect information. One instance caused Occupational Health to have incorrect information and therefore were not able to contact me when my appointment was due. Jeopardising the start date for my new job. On another occasion, a customer service advisor did not introduce themself, was incredibly rude and refused to assist with what I was asking. I had been directed by my employer to contact them so did exactly that. There were no efforts to look into my query, just repeating "employer referrals only, not employee referrals". This is how you start an argument. I hung up before things escalated, but if your employer uses medigold, i wish you well, worst Occupational health assessment company I've encountered within 8 years of working within healthcare.
An absolutely useless company. How have the NHS Pensions used this company to review Pensions under the Cloud Remedy? Because they are most probably very very cheap in cost. I have had to go through the Financial Ombudsman as they are just so ineffective. I have zero trust in this company that they will work out my pension correctly. I would have given no stars or even minus stars in my rating.
Shocking service. My husband has been waiting to start work for a month now and still counting due to the incompetence of this company. Occupational health doctors have said they can not make a report without further support. We are still waiting, and my husband does not need anything from this company other than a tick in a box. No work place adjustments are needed/wanted or support. We have put in a complaint as we are at an absolute loss on what to do. We have just received a call back... Only it's from the wrong department! Shocking, shocking service 🤬 Update 27/6 and Medigold are yet to respond to any emails/calls and have still not sent off relevant documentation. We are now suffering both mentally and financially. AVOID
My Husband had to deal with these imbeciles, very rude, judgmental, disregard anything he said, they didn't know anything about his job, asking personal questions which were nothing to do with the appointment, who do these people actually think they are? He won't be going alone again. Union rep will be asked to attend in future. Absolute disgrace.
Despite giving a clear concise medical history Medigolds health practitioner creates a report for my employer that is erroneous and incorrect. Shameful
Non responsive to emails, referrals that you have submitted disappear into thin air. I have been trying to get someone through ill health retirement and now we're almost there they suddenly tell me there is an extra charge! It is taking a lot longer than it should and the whole time we wait we are paying for the member of staff to be off work. Appalling customer service, no one seems to know what they're doing. Avoid.
Where to start? missing appointment information, lack of correspondence, and advising me twenty minutes before a face to face appointment that I had travelled 1 hr 40 minutes to attend, that it was cancelled. 3 hrs twenty minutes travelling for nothing. Appalling service, no idea why my employer chooses to do business with such a poorly rated & incompetent company.
Awful experience from start to finish! If I could leave zero stars I would. AVOID this company at all costs if you want to save your employer time and resources. I'm still waiting for final work clearance after over a year! My first appointment was cancelled whilst sitting in the waiting room after an hours drive to the venue. Bloods were taken and lost with no record of what happened. MediGold moved to a new system losing my vaccination history in the process. I strongly urge employees to pay privately and avoid MediGold completely if you are able to claim your work expenses back. Days Pharmacy have just administered my final vaccine and I cannot express how different this experience was.

Rang me 3 times no one on end of line.on the 4th time I told the person I would not be having anything to do with them,lo&behold my boss then rings me.to late I have blocked them.
This company is: 1-Impossible to get hold of no one answer the phone. 2-Fails to call people back 3- Mishandles your personal information 4-One of the biggest con groups going If I could I would give them a negative review, looking at taking legal action against them.

What a strange experience was a Medigold assessment:( The first time I turned up for an appointment arranged by them, they sent me away because they hadn't got my paperwork. They told me to make another appointment and come back then. No apology, though it was their fault. The second time I did have the assessment during which the doctor didn't seem to be interested in my situation affecting me at work. Instead she made a speech stressing how it would be very difficult for my employer to accommodate my needs because of financial and other constraints. I felt very confused as I thought the assessment was about my health not the health of my employer's business. When I received the report, I had to ask for corrections due to a number of substantial errors of factual evidence that either the doctor had not included or were wrong. Hard not to think the doctor was not listening. I don't see any point of going to this company for an assessment as it has not made the slightest difference to my working life or conditions. I shall continue attending all HR meetings with my union rep.
This company is failing the purpose of assisting ill people , causing unnecessary stress , if I would have a choice , I would stay away from them for ever
The worst service experience of my entire life. This company is supposed to be an occupational health provider but actually all it does is to delay the hiring process by showing total incompetence. I applied for a job in October, it's January and they haven't completed a simple immumisation check yet, while the company for which I'll be working keeps sending me emails about vacancies and asking about when I can start. The staff is completely unhelpful, incompetent, lazy and does absolutely nothing. They never respond to phone calls, they don't organize anything or take their job seriously (I was expecting a letter from them for months and after I managed to contact them after many unsuccessful attempts, it turned out that they didn't even have my address, which of course I had already given them) and their work ethic is completely and absolutely unacceptable and shameful. If you're ever given the choice, stay away! You'll save time, money and conserve your mental energy.
Do NOT use this place for a medical if you value your sanity. Firstly the postcode is a dot on the A120, second, Stansted Business Hub doesn’t exist, it’s actually called Weston Business Hub and third, if you search for Medigold Health the satnav will take you to a business centre in Stansted airport! The receptionist in the 3rd location said they are always getting people asking for Medigold. I was due to be early, ended up being 15 minutes late. Medigold are obviously aware of this confusion but don’t think it would be helpful to put it on any of their communication. Yes, I did try calling, twice but they don’t answer the phone. Shambles of a company.
