Was a bit apprehensive as have never used such a service previously and as my phone was damaged - which they explain in detail what’s acceptable, I suspected I would not get what they quoted me but all was great and super fast!

Straightforward process

I sent my phone to another company and was offered £5 for a functioning iPhone with 82% battery. I felt this unfair and not realistic. I then sent my phone to Mazuma and was offered what I considered to be a fair price. The money was then in my account the same day. When recycling always read the reviews before you select a company, I didn’t!

Do not sell your items to this company! I sent a perfect IPad with no faults whatsoever, initially gave me a quote of £405 which they have now reduced to £80 because there are 'black marks on the display' There was absolutely nothing wrong with it when I sent it, customer service said they can only access items in the condition they receive them in. I am now out of pocket and absolutely furious i feel like I have been completely conned. Will never use this company again.

Send phone after price given of £175. Phone has had protective cover on since new and has always been in a case. I then get an email through to say sorry it’s scratched £65. That’s one thing I know is not true I rejected the offer and miraculously they increase the offer to £110. This to me means that at £65 they were effectively trying to con me, as it was always worth more than that. They will get you to send the phone and then barter cheaper. Ignore the offer they give it’s meaningless. I will give these a wide berth as will everyone I know and share this with.

I've always had a great service with Mazuma mobile. They are quick at processing orders you send in, and I got promptly paid the same day. No complaints from here. I recently cleared out some of my excess tech, and am saving up for a new iPad. So it's a no brainer, for me. Fast, prompt service, and getting paid the same day, less than 24hrs sending it in, via next day delivery, was what I call good service. It's also worth keeping an eye on the prices they pay, as from experience, you'll find they'll pay more than music magpie, and vice versa. In this case, they paid more than the other place for my Google pixel phone, that was less in pristine condition. So yeah, no complains from here! 😎👍

Not the way to do business... Sent in my daughters old iphone after being offered £185, which my 15 year old daughter was delighted with as she wanted to buy herself some new trainers the phone had always been in a case, battery was on 82% which I checked and screen shot before sending, it had a couple of very minor scratches on it here and there, which I acknowledged. Sent the phone in, and got a email to say due to the scratches and battery being below 80% (absolute rubbish) they would only offer now £65. I accepted the £65 as I couldn't be bothered with all the back and forth but I will never use this company again, I was warned off by a work college, of this exact experience they had with their phone. Lesson learnt, All my previous phones had gone back to Apple direct, and had never been reduced on what was agreed/quoted. Do not use Mazuma Mobile would be my advise to anyone considering this company. Ref Number M9170557 My Reply to Mazuma's generic rely: The battery wasn't below 80% it was on 82% before I sent it and have a screen shot to prove this. I accepted the payment as said in my inital review, as I couldn't be bothered with the back and forth of the phone through the post, Just because you reply confirming what I put in my inital review doesn't mean you have offered a good or honest service, I for one will never use you again, and I would advise anyone else to take their phones elsewhere as once you've sent it in the post, Mazuma Mobile can say whatever they want to knock your prices down and you have no way of arguing.

Got a quote for £300. Sent the phone in via special delivery (£10) and they came back with a price of £110 due to 'deep scratches'. There are not deep scratches, I'd actually taken the phone into apple the week before to get the battery replaced and they said it was in perfect condition. I challenged Mazuma and they came back within an hour with a revised price of £160. I rejected this and have asked for my device to be returned as I can sell it privately for more and apple offered me £260 anyway. Won't be using again, total waste of time and clearly just a scam
