Excellent personalized approach

What I love most about Mathnasium is how they assess each child individually and create a custom learning plan. My daughter was struggling with fractions and decimals, and they focused specifically on those areas. The staff communicates well with parents about progress too. The location is clean and organized, making it a good learning environment.

Mixed results

The teaching method is good and my kid likes the instructors, but I feel like the progress is slower than I expected for the price we're paying. Also, scheduling can be a bit inflexible during busy times of the year.

Great for building fundamentals

My son was behind in basic math skills when we started. Mathnasium helped fill in those gaps really well. Sometimes it feels like they move through material slowly, but I understand they want to make sure the foundation is solid before moving on.

Good but expensive

The quality of instruction is definitely there, and my son's test scores have improved. However, it's quite pricey compared to other tutoring options. Worth it if you can afford it, but there might be more budget-friendly alternatives that work just as well.

Inconsistent instructor quality

Some of the instructors are fantastic - really know how to connect with kids and explain things clearly. Others seem less experienced or engaged. It's a bit hit or miss depending on who's working that day, which can be frustrating given the cost.

Great improvement in my daughter's confidence

My 7th grader has been attending Mathnasium for about 6 months and her confidence in math has really improved. The instructors are patient and break down concepts in ways that make sense to her. The only downside is the cost - it's definitely an investment, but seeing her grades go from C's to B's makes it worth it.

Been bringing my son here for a few months. He's making progress and actually enjoys going now, which is huge since he used to hate math.
