Reference number 107557100 I had a family plan,removed a number for one month and 18th and 19th july tried to recharge it started giving error “threshold limit reached “ then on 20th July I added that number to same family again , received SMS about recharge but after that no network bars and sometimes SOS
Lyca failed to send me the QR code that I need to set up the eSIM on my phone. Nevertheless they claim the "plan activation" was successful. It was not successful for me. I have not received a usable eSIM.
UPDATE 7/18/2025: after writing the previous review Lyca Mobile customer service did contact me. They offered me a refund for eSIM and informed me that I would have to purchase a physical SIM. They told me what I needed to do for a full refund. I did exactly as they asked and once again I have not heard anything. BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE I DO NOT RECOMMEND!! I decided to buy the esim card for like $12.86 which includes unlimited talk, text and data. I assumed the esim would work in my phone but it is not compatible. Shame on me for not checking first. This does not excuse Lyca customer service from blowing me off completely. I have called the number several times both times I finally got through I was hung up on. LIA the chat bot can't help me so it pushes me through to wait on agent who never answers. Oh and it states I can email them too only to be ignored once again. So I sit here day #4 with no solution. Not even an almost solution. I guess what I'm saying is their customer service sucks and they are making me feel like I'm not even a customer of theirs.

Hi Jerald, This is Teresa, I thank you so much for your patience, understanding, listening ability, and the solution you offered to the problem I had from my two lines. I was wondering how I have been paying two times within one month since the other line could not work on my phone. The company blocked the phone and so could not access any network. I cannot blame the Lycamobile company since they did not know and so, kept on refilling it. But, talking with Jerald from Lycamobile helped solve the problem. I bought an e-sim a week ago online and it doesn’t work. I currently have Laryngitis so I can’t call the number but I first tried to use the online chat function (completely useless), then emailed. So far there’s been no reply. Terrible customer service.
Lycamobile eSIM was a disappointing experience for me while traveling in the US. After purchasing it, the service was limited to "Emergency Calls Only." I couldn’t make calls, use data, or even find out my assigned phone number. Despite multiple emails, I never received a response. When I reached out to their online support, they repeatedly asked for my phone number, which I didn’t have and was never provided. I believe I deserve a refund since I was never able to use the service. Based on this experience, I wouldn’t recommend purchasing a Lycamobile eSIM.
Imported from google voice and had a struggle following the steps listed as website was throwing error. Called support, gentleman IIMAD, 30971 helped through the process and everything worked like a charm. He suggested few settings specific to carrier to maximize cellular data speed. Thank you Imad!
I made a huge mistake by switching to this company because I got a nice promotional offer and regretted switching after the promo ended. Very bad custumer service and overpriced for the value they offer. I'm trying to port out my number but I can't. The phone support couldn't help me and they ask me to send an email. It's been a week now and still no response. $50 for an unlimited plan with a company like this is a scam. I don't know why a company like this have over 3 stars reviews but most reviews seem to be irrelevant, random people that probably don't even live in USA thanking random customer service representatives...
company needs to change their customer support policy, they have limited timeline of customer service assisting us on the call, I really appreciate the Agent IMAD (30971) helping me in transferring 2 numbers, but his supervisor forcing him to hangup the call as its exceeding 1 hour, but what's wrong? Agent is working actively helping customer, but manager doesn't look that way. Hey CEO change your policy man, help CUSTOMERS first.
I had to transfer my sim from another company to lycamobile eSIM. My qrcode was not working. Than i was feel very upset. After many calls since today with Lyca mobile customer care and feeling very frustrated , I finally reached Abdellatif . He was super helpful and resolved my issue. He straight forward understood my concerns and quickly resolved my issue. Abdellatif is a super star in customer service in Lyca mobile. I appreciate his help very much .He is from morocco
