Happened 5th time in 2 years, No network and “threshold Limit reached”

Reference number 107557100 I had a family plan,removed a number for one month and 18th and 19th july tried to recharge it started giving error “threshold limit reached “ then on 20th July I added that number to same family again , received SMS about recharge but after that no network bars and sometimes SOS

Lyca failed to send me the QR code that I need to set up the eSIM on my phone. Nevertheless they claim the "plan activation" was successful. It was not successful for me. I have not received a usable eSIM.

SIM SWAP I ordered an ESIM little did I know I have to have a physical SIM

UPDATE 7/18/2025: after writing the previous review Lyca Mobile customer service did contact me. They offered me a refund for eSIM and informed me that I would have to purchase a physical SIM. They told me what I needed to do for a full refund. I did exactly as they asked and once again I have not heard anything. BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE I DO NOT RECOMMEND!! I decided to buy the esim card for like $12.86 which includes unlimited talk, text and data. I assumed the esim would work in my phone but it is not compatible. Shame on me for not checking first. This does not excuse Lyca customer service from blowing me off completely. I have called the number several times both times I finally got through I was hung up on. LIA the chat bot can't help me so it pushes me through to wait on agent who never answers. Oh and it states I can email them too only to be ignored once again. So I sit here day #4 with no solution. Not even an almost solution. I guess what I'm saying is their customer service sucks and they are making me feel like I'm not even a customer of theirs.

Giving one star feels like a massive…

Giving one star feels like a massive overrating because -5 stars is what they truly deserve. These service providers are the absolute worst! Despite purchasing a 3-month SIM without signing up for auto-renewal or saving my card details, they fraudulently charged me for a fourth month. To add insult to injury, they are completely unreachable by phone – I waited for nearly three hours! These cheap tactics are outrageous. I have undeniable proof I never authorized this charge; they illicitly used my previously used card and posted it. Thankfully, I've blocked them and reported Lyca as a fraudulent entity to my credit card company. I am beyond furious!

Scam or Nah?

I had ordered an esim to my phone which does take esim because i had done it with another phone service, these people had given me the absolute runaround, then continues to charge my card to which i have no service with them, I switched my phone to a more reputable carrier. I feel this company is a scam, they should have told me that I needed a physical sim card instead of promoting the esim, had me thinking that I could use the esim, (which I could from the same phone I was going to use which was Samsung Galaxy A12). Then proceded to say that it was not my account to which I can prove that it was my account, I have all of their emails. They should be under investigation, because I never had a problem with esim tech on my phone before, now there was a problem. I cant use the number, its activated but not activated to any phone that I wanted to use for the service. I no longer wanted the service because it's a hassle and a headache. Yesterday 4-19-2025 they charged my card again this is the third time they have done this. Update: They gave a cookie cutter response, again I am not using the number, now someone else is using the number and Lyca Mobile is charging me for services I'm not using, stop lying and disconnect those services, Lyca Mobile has to prove that im using their services, which I have a different carrier for my Samsung A12 phone. please send me a detailed report to where I'm using phone number ending in 4347. I am not using Lyca Mobile and yet they are still charging me.

Number Porting

I ported my number to Lyca and there was eSIM activation issue. I did chat with their agent named Julie. The process took so much time and she as so patient and calm throughout the conversation. She even waited for me to respond. The service was very good

Aymane fixed my eSIM swapping difficulties for me

I had difficulty swapping from a regular sim to an eSIM. I call their costumer care and there was a kind gentleman that helped me out after several days of trying. Aymane with the pin 30722. He got it done within some few minutes. He was so helpful. I appreciate you.

Worst provider, security issue

Worst provider. Someone requested them to swap my sim, they approved and then with the phone number criminal tried to mess my account. I requested them to block my number. I did not receive any reply from them regarding this issue. Some other also having similar experience.
