Initially wanted to get relatively minor work done on car but was told by lubemobile that further work needed to be done. Discussed work that needed to be done with mechanic and asked for total price which the mechanic provided verbally. Thought it was expensive but hey there’s been inflation so let’s go ahead. Paid first instalment on day one and they had to return on another day due to not having a part. I was expecting to pay around $350 based on verbal quote I’d received (having already paid first instalment). Instead at the end of the job they wanted $735. After some argument it was reduced to $564. Made a complaint to head office but outcome was the same. My advice if you have to deal with these people (and I strongly suggest you avoid them) make them email you a written quote.

Lube Mobile in Wangara, Absolute Crooks!!! I need to warn everyone to stay away from Lube Mobile Garage. We had a terrible experience with them when our car had a turbo failure. The mobile mechanic quoted us $800 for a tow to their workshop and some necessary repairs, we was quoted the cost for parts and labour will be $3000 dollars!, but the manager at Lube Mobile changed it to $8400 without any valid reason. I still didn't get a breakdown of the cost on how it changed almost to 9k. I phoned Renault in the UK and they laughed and told us the part is around 600 pounds and postage. We was told that that Lube mobile is ripping us off and don't pay these guys and find a better mechanic. We ended up paying $1600 and still didn't get the problem fixed, they filted the oil from the car and put back in, and not even putting in new oil. Lube Mobile's behavior is completely unacceptable, and we will never use their services again. I hope others don't have to go through the same ordeal. Lube Mobile Wangara Perth, you are a Joke and ripping customers off.. Complete BS experience with this company.

Fuel pump gave up on our Subaru forester, lube got us in at 8am the next day, Dylan (GF05) arrived on time, and was really helpful at finding the problem straight away, got us a new part, fitted it quickly and was happy to explain what he was doing and why to me. Great guy who made a bit of a stressful one much better and got us back on the road.

We had our car serviced Dino was great he checked the whole car went out of his way to fix an oil leak & didn't charge extra, answerd all my 8 yr old's questions & gave us lamingtons & lollies & was a great price.Thanks Dino

Wouldn’t use again. Booked in for 8am, guy turns up at 8:15, told it would take an hour it took over 2. Only did half a job now need to take caravan to someone who can pack bearings including the inner. Charged $290 for a job I could have done.

Normal yearly service and a few wiper blades replaced. $625.00. l now things are going up, but this is ridiculous. l will not use their service again.

Hi I called out lube mobile to replace a gearbox mount that I supplied. Labour 1 hour $400. Lube mobile supplied a 10mm nut $17.25 Bunnings 20 cents

The job was a bearing replacement on a boat trailer. After saying they could do the job & quoted $300+ they sent a mechanic who had never done trailer bearing, spent a long time researching how to do it, didnt know what a bearing buddy was. Their suppliers had no parts & he rang his boss who suggested the axle needed replacing. They then proceeded to charge me $460 to take the wheel off suggested taking it to the workshop to replace he axle & put the wheel back on. He arrived at 11amish & left at 12:30ish & asked me if he had been here 3 hrs. I baulked at the charge & he said they charge $45/15mins thats $180/hr. I spoke to a manager who was rude and aggressive but I think he was defending the diagnosis where I was questioning cost for 1hrs work & the rest research which should have been done prior. Never again I’ll go with a specialist in future.

Had Murtaza deal with my Landcruiser Prado and he was an absolutely amazing mechanic to deal with. I’ll definitely be going to him for all future car problems. Super fair pricing and trustworthy, it all got fixed while I was at work!!!

Quote wasn’t cheap but okay let’s do it. Mechanic comes around at end of day, and agrees with my own diagnosis. The job I was quoted on. Looks at my car and jacks up the quote by about 50% on top of original quote. There is no way he wanted the job, he wanted to make hundreds more for the same job quoted or charge me a diagnosis fee. He could make a living running that scam if enough people go along with it or make hundreds more for the same work.

Mark (V15) was a really excellent mechanic and provided a great service. He was polite and explained what needed to be fixed with my car in language I understood. I will definitely be recommending Lube Mobile to all my friends and family. My car was serviced and repaired at my workplace and I was kept informed throughout the day of progress. Very satisfied customer.

To cut a long story short. Firstly had service done and told needed new rocker cover gasket etc. Job done and engine leaked oil as if a tap had turned on. Mechanic came back out and said fixed it. No still leaking oil. Got mechanic back and told cant fix here need to take car to workshop. Car went to workshop. Given back with a BS explanation as to oil leak, but said all fixed. (this has been over numerous months). Saturday got Lube Mobile back to do service. Mechanic said cant do service because of the amount of oil from the oil leak all over the motor. Will need to take to workshop. Mechanic contacted workshop told that Tuesday would be fine as we require the vehicle for Easter. Monday (today) no cant do it too busy might get it in next week (not possible). Car is a tow vehicle, and also transport to and from work, and was going away for Easter, not now. Thinking my next step will be to have a conversation with Consumer affairs as this has gone on far too long and there seems to be no interest or urgency from Lube Mobile to address. Could have at least got a call from a Manager to discuss as they obviously know the history of this, not a call from the mechanic saying workshop too busy to fix my car.

Got a quote and booked service. Mechanics said he would be at our house between 2-4 pm. Received a call a 3.00 p.m. stating they could not do my service as apparently a mechanic pulled the pull and left the business. I had come home early for the service. Then they tell me they don't service our area. I said well why did you quote and book the service in. They say the "system" got it wrong and assumed another location. Talked to the customer service team and the Mechanics Manager. They didn't want to accept my disappointment and gave me every reason under the sun why they couldn't do the service. The Manager then told me he had 5 staff off sick and I am wondering the real reason as to their inability to do my service. I told them I would never be using them again. Very poor attitude and customer service approach.

he car " mechanic" from Lube does a terrible job. The primary issue discussed was the vibration in the brake pedal. Initially, he inspected the rotor visually and deemed it acceptable. However, upon a test drive and a subsequent visual inspection of the rotor, he noted concerns about its condition. Upon raising the vehicle and observing a shake in the front left wheel, he suggested that the front LH Wheel tie rod/bearing might be causing the vibration. Asked me to get the wheel done first and then if the problem still persist, then he will COME BACK again and ‘ Diagnose" the issue again. Use my money for another round of BS Diagnose? My guest is he forgot to bring the brake pad and rotor, that is why he put the blame to other issue. In the end I paid them $150 for doing nothing to solve the problem. Lost confidence in them and i went to a car mechanic the next day, I mean a real car mechanic, the mechanic said its the rotor, brake pad that is causing the vibration, the wheel tie rod is a small issue, it will not affect vibration on the pedal, just change the rotor and pad and it should work. One hour later, my car is on the road again, no more vibration. Paid $350 with 2 new rotor and 2 new brake pad. If you can't change Engine Oil and busy, maybe you can call Lube Mobile, other than that, get a real mechanic.

ABSOLUTELY RECOMMEND!! I was a bit sceptical about mobile mechanics but was left with no choice after my car gave up. Josh was so incredibly nice, explaining things to me pretty simply and trying everything that he could to help. He went above and beyond when trying to fix my car including multiple visits to try something new. In the end it didn’t quite go to plan but Josh gave me time to think about decisions that needed to be made and he was so incredibly understanding about my circumstances. My experience with Josh was one of the best interactions I’ve had with a mechanic and i will absolutely be requesting him again. Would HIGHLY recommend

The coolant light came on in my fiat, fortunately as l had pulled up at home on a Sunday afternoon. Booked Lube Mobile for 8am the next day and Robert was bang on time! He has lots of experience with fiats so was able to get the parts for my burst coolant hose and had everything finished by Midday, just in time for me to leave for work. Really impressed and many thanks!

After a day with Lubemobile my vehicle is worse off and I actually paid money for some incompetent mechanic to make my car dangerous, then ignore that fact when it was reported back to him. Started the work but didn't bring replacements, fine. He removed the old ones then went to collect replacements that will take "only 30 minutes" it was actually 3 hours. He brought back one that was not the appropriate size. So he left again. Finally completed the job and he took it for a test. I suggest he gets a hearing test. I drove the vehicle and it is screeching with the slightest turn of the wheels from the very first corner. The parts are not reinstalled properly, torque! I made contact and he said he would return to look at it. I waited an hour then asked him when?, nothing, still waiting.......... So the decision he made as an employee was to ignore and forget! Maybe stop talking on the phone all day and focus on your job! NOTE: I went to a reputable company this morning to get a full check as I was concerned about Lubemobile's "work" 1. The brake backing shield was loose, not put back on properly. It was making contact with the other parts of the wheel and causing the screeching noise. 2. Loose bolts. 2 loose on each wheel, control arms and joints. The driver side bolts were very loose. If not tightened it could have caused a serious accident. The mechanic was very surprised how loose they were and said I was lucky it was found and corrected now before serious damage was done.
