I had a fantastic experience with my car service and Lube Mobile, the mechanic that was assigned to me was Fernando, so diligent and explained everything perfect to me, initially i was going to get the annual service only but then he found out that was something wrong but he fixed and my car is ready and running. great experience.
Great service - Ron was great and was able to tell me what the problem with my car was exactly and got it sorted the same day. Would highly recommend Lube Mobile. Got a same day appointment and car was fixed the same day as well!
Contacted Lube Mobile, Told them the make of my car and that the issue was turbo related, they gave me a window 12-2, which they arrived right at the end. The message I got was this is too hard and too much work so take it somewhere else, what a joke, in all fairness they did not charge me, However if their attitude is we only do they easy stuff they should post it on the website, I have the money to get it fixed. I am just struggling to find a Mechanic who will actually do the job and Lube Mobile falls into that category. So if you need anything more then an oil change or a new battery save yourself the time and go somewhere else.
Our mechanic Luke (vanH124) was brilliant. we had a non-starting issue with my wife's 2015 Dodge Journey. We contacted 5 mechanics prior to our contact with Lube mobile, and they all wanted nothing to do with the make of vehicle, however, from the very first contact, lube mobile was friendly and helpful. Luke was there for about 20 minutes, diagnosed the issue and fixed it immediately. My wife and I would just like to say thank you. For those that know me would know I don't normally write reviews, we will be using them again. We also like the GPS feature so you can see where your mechanic is before they arrive. To the management at Lube mobile, I hope you give Luke the acknowledgment that he deserves.
Hi i would never recommend lube mobile to anyone.firstly they take ur money and mechanics lie and don't do job properly.i had problems with my cooling system the mechanic charged me a whopping $1400 to replace thermostat and hosing for coolant.for a few days later it was still leaking fluid and I complained that they broke my water pump which needed replacing and the wanted another $760 and told me that my holden car was always an issue and mechanic was aggressive and rude.i complained cause this shouldn't have happened and finally the manager organised another mechanic to fit the pump free which he did but he didn't clean his mess up and wash off the coolant that was all over my engine.im never going to use them again or recommend to anyone
I had a pre purchase vehicle inspection completed at a dealership. Bronson provided me with multiple videos inspecting the car thoroughly on the outside and under the bonnet, the interior and most importantly the underside highlighting and explaining any signs of wear or concern. This was followed up with a phone call to discuss his findings. Bronson was very easy to talk to and helped me understand his evaluation. Make sure to ask for Bronson.
Robbery. They wanted to charge $700 in labour for 3 hours. For a job that shouldn't even take that long anyway. Still $250 alone just to come out and inspect my radiator.
I can't say enough good stuff about Nirmal! He came out and was able to diagnose the issue with the transmission on my VE Commodore wagon and fixed it with no problem. He saved me a fortune by doing a couple of things that I was unaware of (used to having manuals and not autos) and also gave me a lot of advice and answered all of my questions which gives me more confidence in looking after it. On top of all this, Nirmal is a top quality bloke. Was happy to chat while working and really looked after me. Once again, can't recommend him enough and will always try to get him when I need anything done on my car.
Rip Off a Big time. worst Car service Contacted Lube Mobile, the guy came to just charge the Diagnosis fee, when i already wrote in the callout form the problem (replace gear shifter cable). He still came to charge Diagnosis fee and quoted $1200 which i got it fixed in $500 from 'mycar' service centre. What a piece of crap they are and total rip off in broad daylight. Avoid at all cost, i am sure they are not worth even changing oils.
If I could leave you no stars I would. I thought use were a great company. But I’ve had nothing but problems with my breaks ever since use came out to look at my car. I had no issues with them before hand. But now I have to find someone to get all the air out of the brake line and bleed my brakes one by one. So thank you very much for putting my life and everyone else life that gets in my car on the line. People need brakes in their car to stop.
Used Paul the mechanic twice now first was great very over priced, used Paul again today was supposed to arrive at 8am then changed it til 10-12 didn’t show up til 1pm and when I said I have to leave at 2:00 was still working on my car at 2:15 🙄 made me think something was needed on my car by telling me it was an MG design issue and it was needed as it could ruin the motor, spoke to another mechanic and that was a lie. Feeling very ripped off as I couldn’t afford the extra 180 dollars today but did as I thought it was necessary.

I was sceptical about using a mobile mechanic but I liked the idea of the convenience of having them come to me. Matthew was my mechanic who was on time, friendly, informative and efficient. Very pleased with the service, repairs and pricing. Lube mobile has won me over.
Paul is a fantastic mechanic very friendly and he was very informative he showed me what he was doing and explained everything and costs I will definitely be using Paul for all my future car services
First time booking a mobile mechanic to come check out my cars transmission with in 30 minutes of rocking up Jack had the problem diagnosed and got into action with in hour had my transmission running perfect, great service will 100% use again and happily recommend lube mobile mechanic to anyone who needs, thanks again Jack!
I had robert and his team as my mechanic today. He was very honest when he picked up more problems with my car, but did not pressure me to fix everything as some minor problems can be fixed in a later date. Great communication and him and his team was very quick in inspecting the issues, going out to get the parts and putting everything together. Im very happy with the result. You have a new lube mobile customer for the near future. Thank you.
I booked a week in advance and even took the day off work only to find out that they made a typo in my contact number and were at my car calling the wrong number the entire time whilst I waited like an idiot. I waited where my broken car is which is far from home and the only solution they could offer was ‘sorry we must have taken the wrong number, we can book you in in two days again’. Extremely poor customer service
I was quoted over $600 to have my battery changed. I was told that if I wanted it fixed today it was the only battery available in ACT Canberra and when I asked if they could phone around and get another quote I was told that there were only 2 suppliers and that the other one was out of stock. I said please wait while i phone around to verify this statement within 10 minutes I had organised another local company and Unique Batteries & Solar and the wonderful Craig arrived within 20 minutes replaced the battery and for only $380 I had been told the battery would cost over $500 ! The battery cost $200. Beware of highway robbery and being fooled into believing that as you have been forced to pay the call out fee that you feel inclined to pay for the "fix" ! Also be careful ladies of thinking that because you are a female you won't know the cost of car repairs! Be wise do not use this rip off Canberra business!
I did a request to have someone to come see my car because I was reading the DTC P0332 (engine failure). “Ron” looked everything but the engine. When I asked about the DTC he told me that he didn’t have the skills, tooling or space to identify the engine failure. Why he came?
