deplorable treatment by Fraud team

deplorable treatment by Fraud team, verifying a transaction asking me my mothers milk, at some point the woman on the phone says, may be you are a fraudster, unacceptable treatment of clients, I hang up after 25 min of nonsense, they blocked my account prior to a trip of mine abroad leaving me stranded, went to unblock it after my return, was told they were closing the account in a month, no explanation, never received a letter to that effect, they told me they would resend the letter, two weeks later still no letter!!!! wtf guys, are you a bank or what

0% balance transfer why would you do that

Offered me a 0% balance transfer, then suspended my account because I tried to do a balance transfer! I spent 30 minutes on the phone trying to find out what was happening and how to sort it. I now have to find a branch that hasn’t closed down to answer some questions about why I wanted to transfer a balance. I’ll have to take time off work and they just don’t give two sh**s.

Useless fraud department

Wouldnt help me after i got my money stolen and took 3-6 hours at a time to respond, so even though i started a conversation at 6am it still hadent been sorted by 9pm then they decided to cut me off. And left me on seen constantly for like an hour. Assholes

I've been a customer for 25 plus years…

I've been a customer for 25 plus years the only time I've needed help from them with a fraud case and they gave the fraudsters their money! Avoid lloyds like the plague!

Do I feel appreciated ??

Lloyds really know how to look after their best customers!! Been a Club a/c holder for years. I recently put this years ISA into Lloyds F/R account. How do they repay me ? They double my overdraft rate!! It's irrelevant because I don't use it - apart from using the free £100 o/d. Really good to feel appreciated !!

Lied to staff and treated us with…

Lied to staff and treated us with complete disrespect As a former employee of Lloyds, I’m deeply disappointed by how we were treated. We were TUPE transferred to another company under false pretences — promised that little would change and that our roles would stay the same. In reality, we were misled from the start. The work we were told we’d be doing changed completely, with no transparency or honesty throughout the process. Lloyds failed to support us, ignored our concerns, and ultimately showed that they have no regard for the well-being or futures of their employees. The experience has been stressful and disheartening, and I would not recommend working for this organisation to anyone.

Do not switch to Lloyds!

Trying to switch our Business account over to Lloyds Bank - do not bother! The whole process so far has taken 5 months (not the 30 days they claim) and no one can tell us what is going on with the application - that's after waiting over 20 minutes for someone to actually answer the phone. Diabolical.

If there's actual fraud or identity…

If there's actual fraud or identity theft going on these people will ignore it or tell you it's probably that you've forgotten you're subscribed to something that you know for a fact you're not subscribed to and won't listen to your protestations. And then inevitably you have to ring them the next day when there's payments to a casino coming out of your account to tell them the thing you were certain was happening but Lloyds Fraud wouldn't believe you on was actually happening. But god forbid I try and transfer some money from one account to another or set up faster payment to make my life easier. Then it's blocked and I have to ring Lloyds Fraud line and have them talk down to me about things I already know about, waste my time further and then tell me the issue is resolved now and to try again. And I'll try again and without fail the same damn thing will happen again! I'm so sick of it. I just want to do my banking in peace but everything is now encumbered with the caveat of will doing anything incur the tedious ire of Lloyds Fraud Line?! Actually it's baffling that Lloyds is still a successful bank. When you use other Banks apps and see what features they've introduced to make things more convenient and better for their customers. Features like if I'm transferring money the total left in the account I'm transferring from updating in real time. Lloyds has nothing like that! All they focus on is penalising people for trying to do any banking because apparently trying to transfer £250 or above triggers the Lloyds Fraud team. Pathetic. I've initiated an account switch from Lloyds to a better bank and I can't wait to be done with Lloyds. For years I've dealt with their nonsense. Oh and they only just introduced light and dark background in their app. And it's not even available across the whole app. And this is long after every other banking app introduced this. Again Lloyds are more focused on accusing everyone who uses them of fraud.

Brillant service at the Spalding branch

I had my Lloyds Bank credit card statement arrive the other day with a glaringly obvious scam listed as my having visited a store in Milton Keynes last month - but I hadn’t as I was attending a function in Spalding. So a subsequent visit to my local Spalding branch, being a bricks and mortar one (still, as I scribble away..) to explain or query the situation. The chap I spoke to on the telephone in the fraud department was absolutely brilliant, couldn’t ask for more: no waffle, plain speaking, just being sheer ‘on the ball’ and to the point with the whole process taking about 10 to 15 minutes. The outcome being yes, I had a (attempted) scam on my account with the outcome being my card was blocked as it had been compromised plus they would issue a new card to arrive in ‘four to five working days’ - this was Thursday morning. Yesterday, Saturday morning it arrived! - what service but as I only use it once or twice a month so time was not an element, but overall so very delighted that they reacted so swiftly. I have always been pleased with the branch itself, from the helpful and friendly staff to the service, being a full 5 Star (interest rate to be agreed) rating to my mind. The only niggle I have is there is a main concrete support pillar there that can/does obscure when a customer adviser/teller is free as you can’t see beyond it but short of a handy sledge hammer or the odd spare stick of dynamite being available, we shall have to carry on living with it I suppose.

I have a new credit card with Lloyd's

I have a new credit card with Lloyd's, if I would know about their terrible customer service, I wouldn't even proceed with the card. I have a debit card with them as well but I never had to contact CS. I think it's time to switch the bank as you can forget about any support
