Positive Experience

I've had a really positive experience so far with responsive communication and support, the office is conveniently located and very nice, which gives a good feeling as soon as I enter. I would refer my friends to the same location/provider, based on how I am enjoying it thus far. I haven't experienced any issues with scheduling or billing through my insurance.

It’s always been hard for me to open up…

It’s always been hard for me to open up about my PTSD. During my first appointment after years of stuffing everything, I finally was able to get all my thoughts out. There was sadness and other emotions that overtook me but there was also a sense of relief that I was sharing with someone I don’t know. I have a long way to go to be able to handle all of this. I must stay committed to keeping appointments and opening up about my past while serving overseas. Thank you Amy Mueller for taking me and my problems on.

It’s not the caregivers

It’s not the caregivers, it’s the app and office and the billing department. It’s an absolute nightmare of *errors*, lack of responsiveness, lack of compassion, massive inconvenience, and just an entire mess. It was fine before 2025. Now it’s a nightmare.

The Doctors are good. The app is the WORST. The customer service is marginal. Not even going to bother with specifics. Try and find a good doctor through your provider.

James Hillard was extremely helpful

I had an appointment with James Hilard. He seemed to be extremely knowledgeable and made me feel heard about the issues I've been dealing with. I've been told my whole life that I don't have ADHD because I was hyperactive like my brother. So, I never felt like there would be any benefit to asking for help until I met friends later in life who described similar experiences to mine and explained how much medication has helped them. James listened to my story and could almost immediately assess that I do in fact ADHD, I've since been medicating and it has made such a positive difference to my focus and ability to start tasks.

terrible, zero compassion

i trusted jennifer mlady with my mental health and she could not be bothered to respond when i told her my father had passed away the night before and i was going to miss my appointment. she was well aware of my situation. absolutely careless and i am so hurt. edit: it is a shame you can get a response here but not in your own platform.

Good

Pros: You can choose your therapist, switch therapists if you don’t connect well, can request assist via phone to fix any technical issues, and you are in control of your care. Cons: The website can be glitchy not allowing you to schedule available dates/times, your unable to search a therapist recommended by name, and communication between insurance and LifeStance is confusing.

Honest and real

The doctor was very empathetic and understood my challenges. We acknowledged the problem and developed strategies to try…..acknowledging the process was going to require time and effort. I like knowing that I won’t be judged for set backs or failures, but possibly coached with tools.
