Disappointing

Disappointing. Tried on two separate evenings to contact Room Service and, failing that, Reception from room phone. No answer on either occasion. The room was up a flight of 10 stairs. I was not made aware of possible accessibility issues before arrival and found this challenging which for a "superior" room is not good enough. I had difficulty finding help with my case and struggled with the stairs. Having said that the staff with whom I interacted were, on the whole, very nice and the food, when I finally got it, was fine. TV offerings very poor. Just not good enough for an allegedly highly rated hotel. (Edinburgh, Murrayfield)

Get shafted @ Leonardo Boutique hotels

Nothing like making a booking that the hotel gets wrong & when they kindly promise to re-imburse they actually change the facts so that they don’t have to re-imburse the customers. When you know you were at the hotel at 10am to check in & you’re told that you got the date wrong & then you see that they update Booking in the afternoon as a ‘no show’. I don’t know why Booking wants to list such hotels on their database when such bad service from the hotel reflects badly known them as well. SEAFOS DOES NOT OPERATE LIKE A 5 STAR HOTEL

While checking into my suite at the SEAFOS Luxury Resort & Spa Hotel in Nafplio, Greece the Security Guard/Reception Staff negligently directed my partner and I to park in an area incapable of safely accommodating our Van, resulting in substantial damage to the body panels of our vehicle. Following the damage to our vehicle I confronted the hotel Mgr. (Vasilis Keritis) who agreed that his staff was negligent and that he was willing to do what was necessary to restore our vehicle. Yet the following day, when I inquired how the SEAFOS Hotel was going to arrange payment for the repairs necessary to fix our van , Vasilis Keritis reversed his position claiming his staff was not at fault. Out of hundreds of hotels I've stayed, throughout 55+ different countries, this is BY FAR THE WORSE ONE YET!!!

definately not 5 star quality - would not reccomend nor book it again

We stayed with Leonardo St Pauls London from 2nd to 6th January. I booked the hotel as it was promoted as a 5 start hotel but we were very disapointed. We were first given a room which was dirty (got pictures) and was moved to another room which was slightly better, but smelly. During the stay the room was not cleaned properly. Used cups and glasses were left, no vacumcleaning, no toilet cleaning. when I asked for cleaning three poeple from cleaing came and took half of the used crocekry and used a towel to clean the desk. Even the Firealarm went off one of the nights and ruined our sleep. No open minibar in the room and I had to pay 15£ to open it to put milk in the fridge. Allthough the room was for 4 people it had towels and crocekery for two people and I had to ask for clean ones every day. never would I reccomond this hotel nor book it again. It´s definately not a 5 star quality. Tried to write an email to their contact adress but no message can be sent.

We arrived and the room was freezing…

We arrived and the room was freezing cold, contacted reception who advised us this is due to the hotel being eco and to wait 20minutes. Called an hour later to inform them that it still wasn't working to which we were told it won't work and we need to move rooms, moved down to a basic room on the second floor with under half the amenities we had in the room we originally booked, dust everywhere and t.v not working properly. Contacted reception who told us they did not understand why we were moved to the second floor however we were told this was the manager's decision and it was the manager we spoke to! The manager then said he will change our room again and gave us a room on the 4th floor, this time with no sea view which is what we specifically requested and paid for originally, due to the time being so late and having changed rooms twice we accepted this room. By the time we moved our luggage it was gone 11.30pm and therefore our evening away to relax ended up being stressful and we spent the evening moving to multiple rooms! Really unhappy with this stay as I have stayed at this hotel multiple times in the past and could never fault their rooms and customer service but I now feel this has really gone downhill and it is not acceptable how our issue of no heating was dealt with, this is definitely not what you expect when staying in a high standard hotel and we won't be returning In the future.

Okay for the price

Okay for the price. Cannot really complain. The walls of the room were rather thin, but that was the only negative.

URGENT COMPLAINT

Hello, I am contacting regarding a complaint. Myself and my girlfriend came to stay at your Holborn Jury's Inn hotel Saturday 7th September and we were appalled at not only the size of our room, but also the decor and arrangement, especially when comparing it to the images we saw advertised online and we could not even open a window. I complained to the reception and after a lot of effort to get my point across, we were finally offered a room at your sister hotel in St Pauls were we took a taxi paid for by the hotel, which we were grateful for, however, when we arrived at the hotel, although the room was a lot nicer than the previous room, we found hairs in our bath along with rust marks, there was also no option to open a window, which is not great for my girlfriend due to her being asthmatic. When I explained this to the reception, they advised that there are no rooms with windows that can be opened, which was a complete lie, as we could clearly see from the court yard that there were rooms with windows that had handles to open. in addition to this, I visited the bar in the evening and it was late and empty, so I politely asked that the bar Tv be turned up so I could hear the fight that was on since I had bet on this fight and was told that it is not possible as he had no control on this, so I went to the reception to ask if this was true and the receptionist showed me how to turn the tv up manually by the tv, which I did, then the barmen, came over 10 minutes later and actually turned the tv back down by remote, after telling me he had no control over! This was the second lie told to me by your staff within a day of being at the hotel, not even a day, an evening. After having to go to the other side of London to where we initially booked our stay, this is utterly unacceptable! The next day, we visited the spa after checkout. when I went into the changing rooms, and the water cooler was empty and my girlfriend confirmed that the ladies was also empty, so after 45 minutes of being in the spa. I went back to check the water had been topped up and it was still empty. I took the walk to the spa reception and the women was unbelievably rude about the situation. I asked her to refill the water cooler and she responded saying that she could not leave the reception area and when I went to go to get some water from the only available place, which was the relaxing room, I was rudely told I am not allowed to go in there. Her colleague even came back into the spa area after to personally apologize for her colleagues rudeness, so this is not just me being an awkward customer. in addition to this, upon leaving the spa area, the same rude women, was very ignorant upon our departure. We are utterly appalled at the treatment we have received from what we thought was a reputable hotel chain and we can not stress enough, how this has affected what was meant to be a romantic night away. Please contact us immediately. Kind regards, Robert Fletcher

Me and my partner stayed at the…

Me and my partner stayed at the Leonardo hotel in Glasgow very disappointed with this place paid for early arrival had to wait on housekeeping for room to be cleaned. Even tho it’s says on the website that room service is available 24hrs a day I called for room service to be told that it was no longer available. We paid to get a superior room and got a horrible room two single beds pushed together curtain rail hanging off the wall and dirty cups in the room avoid at all cost it’s a rip-off will definitely not be back.

Not the happiest bunch of people at the reception and not great value for money. Disappointed. Hotel was clean but a little dated.

Stayed at the Leonardo Hotel in… Glasgow

Stayed at the Leonardo Hotel in Glasgow. It was a very unpleasant stay. On arrival the male receptionist was unfriendly and rude. Also the bath/shower tap didn't function in the room I was given and the auto plug in the sink was stuck so you couldn't empty it. Therefore I was unable to bathe, shower or wash. I asked to change rooms because of this the next morning only to be put next door to a very loud couple who argued all of the time. I also found out later I was charged £12 extra which I can only presume was for having to move rooms! I would never stay here again because their customer service and their attitude towards guests is the worst I have ever come across. What made it worse was I was staying there hopefully for a nice weekend prior to going into hospital for a very serious operation. It turned out to be my worst stay anywhere ever.
