Disappointing

Disappointing. Tried on two separate evenings to contact Room Service and, failing that, Reception from room phone. No answer on either occasion. The room was up a flight of 10 stairs. I was not made aware of possible accessibility issues before arrival and found this challenging which for a "superior" room is not good enough. I had difficulty finding help with my case and struggled with the stairs. Having said that the staff with whom I interacted were, on the whole, very nice and the food, when I finally got it, was fine. TV offerings very poor. Just not good enough for an allegedly highly rated hotel. (Edinburgh, Murrayfield)

Get shafted @ Leonardo Boutique hotels

Nothing like making a booking that the hotel gets wrong & when they kindly promise to re-imburse they actually change the facts so that they don’t have to re-imburse the customers. When you know you were at the hotel at 10am to check in & you’re told that you got the date wrong & then you see that they update Booking in the afternoon as a ‘no show’. I don’t know why Booking wants to list such hotels on their database when such bad service from the hotel reflects badly known them as well. Leonardo hotel - Tel Aviv This business customer ain’t coming back!

Have just booked my 4th visit this year. at Leonardo Hotel Gateshead Quays, fabulous, as always very friendly staff , Ann on reception so helpful, and always give us a welcome as we arrive, the furnishings in bar, and lounge have been renewed, plus an added touch of complementary cold drinks from the dispenser in reception rooms cleaned and all tea coffee and milk , plenty of it every day, the bar staff and resturant staff are fantastic, my next visit already booked

SEAFOS DOES NOT OPERATE LIKE A 5 STAR HOTEL

While checking into my suite at the SEAFOS Luxury Resort & Spa Hotel in Nafplio, Greece the Security Guard/Reception Staff negligently directed my partner and I to park in an area incapable of safely accommodating our Van, resulting in substantial damage to the body panels of our vehicle. Following the damage to our vehicle I confronted the hotel Mgr. (Vasilis Keritis) who agreed that his staff was negligent and that he was willing to do what was necessary to restore our vehicle. Yet the following day, when I inquired how the SEAFOS Hotel was going to arrange payment for the repairs necessary to fix our van , Vasilis Keritis reversed his position claiming his staff was not at fault. Out of hundreds of hotels I've stayed, throughout 55+ different countries, this is BY FAR THE WORSE ONE YET!!!

VIRKELIG DÅRLIG SERVICE

Boede på deres hotel i Inverness. Virkelig dårlig service. Ville købe en Aperol Spritz i baren. De havde flasken, den var åben og havlfyldt, men de måtte ikke sælge den for deres manager, fordi den ikke længere havde den på kortet. Hvorfor så have den bag baren? Selv efter gentagende opfordringer, var de ikke til at ændre mening. . Værelset var også slidt, radiatoren hang skævt og gulvtæppet på værelse var voldsomt slidt og beskidt. Boede på værelse 212 Did they forget that they are in the service business.

Poor tired hotel rooms

I will say that the staff in general were helpful and accommodating. However there was no decaffeinated drinks available in the room and only 2 bottles of water, which some of you would say that’s fine, and I would fully agree. As one bottle was sparkling and the other still. Therefore this left us with one bottle of water to drink between us both. When we went down for dinner my wife mentioned the problems and was told they would deliver some decaf tea and a bottle of still water. On return from dinner nothing had been delivered. The situation was eventually resolved after a further 2 phone calls. Our main problem was the room. I booked a superior double room with balcony, which in my opinion left a lot to be desired. The balcony I would estimate had not seen a mop or any kind of cleaning cloth in several months or year. The taps over the wash hand basin were severely tarnished and looked disgusting, the basin had a nice big crack in it and I would suggest had germs in the crack. The sink was partially blocked and I would consider had been for a while. I could go on with more but I won’t. In general the room was well below the standard to match the description. The food was ok but nothing to what we expected. In summary the whole experience was not what I expected from a high class chain with a high price.

Heel jammer

Van 15 tot 18 april hier verbleven. Afspraken met de servicedesk zijn niet te maken, communicatie snappen ze niet. App voor de schoonmaak werkt selectief. Niet hoe jij het wilt maar hoe het hun uitkomt..... Ontbijt, 1 x geprobeerd. Er was van alles niks en wordt niet aangevuld. Je mag wel € 19,50 aftikken. Kamers klein maar netjes. Avondeten goed en betaalbaar. Na mijn klachten nam Melanie telefonisch contact op. Hoop redenen zoeken waarom eea wellicht niet goed ging. Ze ging bij een volgend verblijf een upgrade doen. Grotere kamer, ontbijt en parkeren voor de prijs van alleen een standaard kamer. Ik wilde 9 juni. Helaas... net een grote groep..... maar als ik zelf bij Leonardo of Booking wil reserveren is dat gwn mogelijk. Dit heb ik haar laten weten, maar het blijft stil. Kortom customer service zonder inhoud en nee, ik ga mijn review niet aanpassen Melanie. Voor mij geen Leonardo meer. Nooit meer Elke geloofwaardigheid is weg!

Personal service and kindness from the Leonardo staff

We recently visited Leonardo Bristol for a concert. The receptionist was very helpful as were the other staff who were friendly and welcoming. When we arrived at our room, it had been decorated with hearts and balloons with a bottle of bubbly ready for us. It was a surprise for our 28th wedding anniversary. A colleague of my husband had mentioned this to the Leonardo hotel in Plymouth where they had been staying for work. Rachel in Plymouth had contacted the Bristol hotel and arranged the surprise for us without us knowing. Thank you Leonardo and the staff at the Plymouth and Bristol hotel, in particular Rachel for setting it up, very thoughtful indeed!

We have visited the Nottingham Leonardo…

We have visited the Nottingham Leonardo hotel 20 times in recent years. Reception staff are very friendly and welcoming, with special mention of Libby and Robin. The food is American style bar food, and special mention for Julie and Jack who gave us excellent service. Our only criticism is the poor heating of the bedrooms We will certainly use Leonardo hotels again in the future

Stole off me

Stayed at this hotel recently. The hotel itself was okay, comfortable & clean but I am writing this review regarding management & the honesty of the some of its staff members. I had a long drive to & from the hotel & because of this I was tired & left an expensive red LED light mask I use daily to help with scarring on my face. I rung the hotel about 6 hours after I left assuming it would have been handed in. How wrong was I! Chloe the manager on at the time couldn't have cared less that such an expensive item had by accident been left in the room nor could she have cared less that the item hadn't been handed in by the staff. I explained the situation & assured her the item was in the room as I had used it just that morning but again she insisted it had not been handed in. I am at a loss that such an item has been stolen & I am really disappointed how this has been handled. Never did I ever expect hotel staff to steal or to not care less. Chloe couldn't wait to get me off the phone & didn't empathise or even offer to take the matter further. I will not be staying at this hotel or the chain again & will be speaking to Egencia & the company I work for to get the hotel chain taken off our recommended hotels.

Service from the staff makes this hotel a great place to stay

I have been staying at the Leonardo Hotel Hinkley Island every week for six months for work. While I had the option to switch hotels I chose to return every week. The rooms were spacious, comfortable and clean. The gym was great and an added bonus when you are working away from home. The restaurant was lovely and the food was always excellent with enough dishes and menu changes that I could rotate and not become bored with the food. However, the real reason I kept going back week after week was the staff at the hotel. Even when they were exceptionally busy they went out of their way to be helpful. Special shout out to Chaz in the restaurant who always made my dining experience a pleasure and whose service was second to none. Thanks to Evie who made sure my hotels bookings were always sorted even when I had to make last minute changes. I would stay here again without hesitation and would recommend this hotel to anyone travelling the dreaded M1 corridor.
