My partner and I were represented by Jordan Oaks and Morgan Brown for both the sale of my flat and the purchase of our house. Overall the process was as you would expect, long and stressful however, Jordan and Morgan were excellent and really helped guide us through everything effectively and keeping us up to date. The original plan was to complete on the sale and purchase the same day however this didn't happen due to our buyers needing to move quickly and there was risk of the sale falling through. The extra effort that Morgan went through to not just keep the sale alive but also to get the house purchase through quickly was instrumental and nothing short of fantastic work. Linda and Jaspreet helped us sell our house as well as buy a house and a flat. As expected, the process was long and involved, but Linda and Jaspreet were efficient and made the process as stress-free as possible. Their attention to detail was really helpful and they took the time to explain complexities to us, when needed.

We were represented by Charlotte in both the sale of our house and purchase of a new one. She was organised, responsive and offered excellent advice throughout both transactions. Highly recommended! Haroon Kahn of Knights robbed us of £4500 and tried to dissuade us from taking legal action against our neighbours and the local council; all because his firm couldn't deal with fraud! It's time the 'GOLDEN TURD' aka Knights 'Professional Services' was flushed down the toilet by The Law Society & the SRA. Corporate offices, corporate attitude/mindset, corporate coffee, corporate biscuits. Knights are a waste of time & money!! They provide 'business services', NOT legal services. We have received a great service from David and members of his team at Knights: Robertas and Samantha. We know there are often challenges dealing with solicitors for a house sale or purchase and we have experienced these before ourselves. But David and team are an exception to this rule. Both our sale and purchase had several complications build in but the team helped us navigate the hurdles brilliantly. Always available and responsive they helped keeping the entire process on track and bring it to a successful end. We very much recommend them.

The purchase of a flat was aborted because of a change in circumstances and despite it not being anywhere near exchange and even further from completion, the bill was £4050! This is considerably more than the average completed conveyancing costs and this was after they “kindly” reduced their original invoice by £300. The service was ok but the costs were a real rip off. Roll on AI to automate conveyancing and prevent this daylight robbery.

A phrase which is not one we use frequently, if at all, but certainly fits on this occasion. Great communication, always quick to respond to emails and queries and absolutely brilliant when we experienced some difficulties with our sellers solicitors towards the end. We were so pleased we had chosen a personal solicitor who stayed with us throughout the process and not a ‘factory’ type solicitor like our sellers who had nothing but problems.
