GivEnergy Battery added to existing solar system. I chose JPS energy to install a GivEnergy All in One Battery and Gateway to add to my exisiting solar panel system. I had contacted a few companies, but JPS were the only one that got back to me straight away and talked me through the options available rather than just giving a quote. The service I received from JPS was very professional thoughtout, from the initial enquiry, through to the site survey and installation. The engineers that installed the battery and gateway were very professional and did a neat and tidy install of both devices. The whole installation process took less than a day. Once the system was commisioned the engineer took the time to talk me through the system and answer any questions I had. From my experience I would definitely recommend JPS.
Initially unreliable and amateurish
Having waited months for an installation, paid a deposit (in which time the market price of the equipment had dropped by 20%) JPS Energy cancelled the installation appointment at the close of business the previous evening and delayed for another month. Of course no acceptable explanation was given and the office was closed as soon as the email was sent, so none could be sought. This company charge top market rate but provide ghetto service. In hindsight it would have saved me time, money (literally thousands) and effort to have used someone else. Edit: Once the issue was raised, JPS took steps to find and rebook a more acceptable date for the install and made a financial discount gesture to help compensate for the delay and late change. I am satisfied with a fair customer service response.

JPS Renewables- Very satisfactory solar panel, battery storage and EV charger installation
The company overall delivered an extremely satisfactory service from start to finish. I was very clear on what type of solar, batteries and EVcharger I required. In the initial planning they built on my requirements e.g. by suggesting a Powerwall rather than two Enphase batteries and at a lower price. The survey was carried out on time and took on board my requirements for cable routing. The installation went very efficiently including the scaffolding which was only up for one week. All wiring very neat and all damaged roof tiles replaced but with the caveat that it has not rained yet. Only two small issues - we’d specified a white Zappi charger but they fitted a black one. It was not an issue since it looks very smart. Also we did challenge as to why on the front elevation the ends of the solar panel brackets were visible. We have seen some, but far from all, installations locally where they are hidden. The fitter said that was the system they use. I guess we shall get used to it. They set us up with all the necessary apps to monitor the system although I had to subsequently tweak the Zappi charger for solar charging after a bit of Googling. Overall we were very pleased both with the installation and the subsequent performance. The company kept us very well informed throughout the whole process. So, if you want an AC coupled solar system with integrated inverters to minimise shading issues I can recommend JPS Renewables.

This was my 2nd experience of a project delivered by JPS and I'm pleased to say that it was every bit as good as the first. The team were polite, professional and easy to get along with, as well as leaving not only a very tidy and well done installation but also no mess - far from a guarantee when it comes to the trades, especially electricians!.

Great friendly service and competitive price
Miles was really helpful and was able to provide clear and easy-to-understand information. Pre-sale there was no pressure and we were allowed to progress at our own pace. The installation team were courteous, respected our property and did a great good with the installation.
