I had the pleasure of dealing with Patrick, he is beyond doubt the best car Salesman I have met. He was super helpful, his knowledge of the car was second to none and answered all my questions. He regularly sent me updates on the build and general progress, he even had my private plates put on my car for me. I would not hesitate in recommending Ipswich Citroen to anybody. Had to reject the car after being misled on its condition. I thought that I had found the perfect car,a low mileage Honda HR-V diesel AU68YRZ . I enquired about the condition of paint and bodywork and was emailed back by Ben. "Without doubt, this is probably the cleanest car on our forecourt. I had a look around the car before typing this email out to you and didn’t spot any dings, scuffs, or scratches." I was also sent a Video presentation walk round that again confirmed this. As I was travelling half way across the country (which Ben knew) I did not want to waste my time and money on a car that was not in good condition. Upon collecting the car the conditions were not ideal to inspect it,the car was not very clean, the sun was very low and bright and blinded you and my glasses broke. When I managed to look at the car in daylight the next day, I noticed bird lime damage to the bonnet,roof,near side rear door,near side rear wing and tailgate spoiler. As unsuccessful attempts had been made to remove the marks the panels would require repainting. I also found numerous scratches and dings on several panels. As the car had been completely miss described I rejected the car and returned it for a refund.To be fair they accepted the rejection without any argument. Because they were not honest with me about the car's condition I have wasted 2 days(27 hrs) travelling over 800 miles by road and rail catching 10 different trains. I am also over £200 out of pocket on costs involved,and contacted the dealership a week ago to give them the opportunity to make amends ,I had an acknowledgement reply but no further response. In my experience I would not believe a word that they say about the condition of a car.

I recently took delivery of my Peugeot 208 Hybrid automatic. Luca was extremely helpful and provided an excellent buying experience. As an older driver I was concerned about the high level of technology involved and Luca was very patient with me. He answered all my questions knowledgeably and gave me an excellent test drive on local roads.

I recently purchased a used car from John Grose Ipswich. Luca provided excellent customer service. I live overseas and needed a car for my daughter who was also overseas but moving to the UK. I enquired about the car and Luca provided a very detailed video of the car, made the whole sales process seamless and my daughter flew into the UK and collected the car. The car was exactly as described and the service provided to my daughter excellent and professional. I would 100 percent recommend this dealership.

I just got a Peugeot 3008 from John Grose Ipswich and Dessaur Julian did a wonderful job. He made sure I understood every bit of the deal, even when the car had electric fault, they provided me with a courtesy car. Louis is another nice guy that really helped me out, he provided me with real time update until my car was back. I must confess I’ve never seen a company so responsible, so compassionate. My wife was so dazed by their professionalism and she told me all our future cars must come from John Grose
Had a great experience buying a Kia sportage plug in hybrid at John Grose in Lowestoft I arranged a test drive with Ben he was great he charged the car up as I requested and he took me for a drive and on collection it was a very smooth hand over
I have a motability vehicle from the John Grose Peugeot_Ipswich garage, that I have had since 2022 & this is my 3rd vehicle from them & until recently would praise & recommend them to everyone, because of the way the majority of its staff go above & beyond for its customers, I would still say buying or leasing a vehicle from the sales team is a good idea as the sales team & the 4 girls & Louis on service desk are wonderful people. Since getting my car, in July 2022, it has been in the garage a number of times, the latest being between the 14th & 19th November 2024. It is this last visit that is why I have become so very unsatisfied with the garage or to be fair the technicians in the workshop & a member of the service team (not those mentioned above) that has left me both very unsatisfied & disillusioned with this garage, as well as not being able to trust them ever again with my car. Despite everything that I told them about the issues with my car, they chose to insinuate & imply that these issues were down to me, by saying things like "that my windscreen misting up was due to my not using my aircon properly & that windows mist up in winter" even though this happened during the summer too. I was also told over the phone on the 18/11/2024, that a lot of the issues like the demisters, & more serious faults I've had with my car are "Characteristic faults/flaws or that maybe certain things were more suitable for larger vehicles than smaller vehicles & the other one that I've been told previously is "it's a common problem with that thing, that we're aware of, but it's not dangerous" even though the thing the fault was with could potentially be dangerous. It seemed like my car & myself are an inconvenience to John Grose Peugeot_Ipswich & some of its staff, despite my having had 2 previous vehicles from them & always shouting praises about them to anyone & everyone, from here on TrustPilot to Motability Operations to the general public.
