I am so excited when I found out about Japan Crate. I've never been to Japan before and glad that I could experience Japan snacks through them. The shipping was fast too. Their customer service is excellent. They replied so quickly. Thank you so much for creating Japan Crate.

Loved the snacks and design on the box. Includes a full drink too! Which there were more savoury things though. 💕

The last time I ordered a crate it was filled with lots of treats that tasted very great!

I wanted to give more stars, but I ordered mine on the 29th of October and it still hasn‘t arrived yet. I live in the EU, but surely it can‘t take that long right?

Great place to experience Japanese snacks all in one place that would be a real hassle or nearly impossible to get anywhere else.

I've seen a variety of great products offered by Japan crate and look forward to seeing what products come each month. I'd recommend it for anyone wanting to try the unique and often quirky treats japan has to offer.

The crate comes with a lot of neat candies and things that I would not of tried, and I found a new candy that I ordered in bulk from this service.

The boxes are cute, nicely arranged and have decent snacks, but it is not worth the price.

Two out of three boxes have failed to show up, and within days it'll be the same for the third. Complete waste of money, and customer service is atrocious- expect copy-paste or hostile replies, if they reply at all, and they give no refunds under any circumstance. Even if that circumstance is never receiving the items you paid for. From looking at posts online, the items that are showing up are cheap yen-coin junk and the boxes contain very few products. My other kawaii subscription box has shown up within estimated times despite coming from the same place, so I'm honestly not believing the "COVID delays" excuse- especially when their Instagram influencers seem to have no problem routinely receiving their boxes. The quality of the box and the service seems to have deteriorated over the past year or so.

I signed up to buy a single months crate because I wanted a specific item that was advertised in it. I purchased a single month, then afterwards checked high and low to male sure I was not signed up for any type of autobilling or subscription, as I only wanted a single months box. When the box arrived it did not even have the item I saw advertised and instead I got a note saying they ran out and replaced it with some random other thing. The entire reason I ordered the box was for the item I didn't receive and would have liked to have been informed. I figured it was $45 wasted but at least I got a few cute things. Until this month when I was charged for a second box with no warning! I never signed up for multiple months and made sure to check the website after the first box shipped to make sure I wasn't. To cancel this subscription I never wanted I had to search the website to find where they hid the cancelation button. Japan box, maybe make your box better so you don't have to scam people into paying you for another. I have sent an email to support but received an email saying it can take over a week to receive a reply. I will amend my review if I manage to receive a refund.
