2021 worst year ever i found out i had leukaemia then 3 months later my husband mesothelioma. We were given details about making a claim as industrial injury. In February 2024 I had an accident at work spending 8 weeks in hospital. I contacted Irwin Mitchell in September to start a claim and was contacted by Shelly Young and started the process in early October the process proceeded quickly and by the end of march 2025 I had received an offer which was accepted in April. The process went well and I was kept in the loop with regular emails and phone calls all in all a very good experience

I contacted Irwin Mitchell to represent my son in a medical negligence case. I had comments from family and friends that Irwin Mitchell were the best in medical negligence so i did not hesitate to call. Once going through the relevant information, Associate solicitor, Laura Ellacott took on my sons case. This case was a very complicated one, but Laura and her colleagues involved in the case were so supportive throughout. There were ups and downs with my sons health whilst the case was going on but my son and family, never at anytime felt alone. Always responsive to our needs and full of advice when required. They were great at sourcing the best experts in the various fields required to put forward my sons case. Looking back now, over the whole period of the case, there were alot of changes in my sons health. He went through a number of ups and down periods, various treatments, operations and therapies with the legal case running alongside, but Laura guided and supported us through the whole process from start to finish.

We have used Irwin Mitchell for a few matters, most recently, the purchase of our new property. Rebecca Roberts handled the matter and kept us well informed and up to date throughout the process. She always answered any queries we had quickly and we managed to complete it all before the new SDLT charges came in, which was a huge bonus to us. In 2020, a family attempt to contest the administration of a Will took place. It was then established in 2023 that serious Professional Negligence was apparent in the writing of the Will document by the originally employed Solicitors. This needed a Professional Legal Response. A Barrister friend recommended Irwin Mitchell’s. Our case is being dealt with specifically by Jodie Buck assisted by her team of colleagues within the Will, Trust and Estate Disputes Department. Forensic standard research coupled with irrefutable evidence has been applied that has resulted in a much detailed response by Jodie to the company of insurers of the original Solicitors. Hopefully this will now bring the 5 year negative experience to positive conclusion in our favour. The quality of Professionalism applied on our behalf is both reassuring and unquestioned
