still no delivery after 10 days. got sent the feedback form but still no actual item,... its now 0 days late. and trying to get hold of anyone..

Terrible service. I have ordered a product with delivery available on May 23rd but was not given any option to pick a date or time. I phoned twice. The first time I was put through to a department that had clearly gone home. Today, I was kept on hold for an hour before being cut off. In fairness, the response to my complaint and snotty Trustilot review was very good and the situation has now been rectified. I have now modified my rating and review to take this into account.

Dreadful service!! Made an online booking on a Friday morning which was then cancelled Friday afternoon. Called local store who informed me that online booking would have to be cancelled, refunded and rebooked and paid for again over the phone plus £150 holding deposit. Paid and received item following day. Had item ready for collection following Monday as agreed, no one showed up to collect. Get two further emails informing me that I will have to be pay extra due to the item not being collected! Called local store and spoke to very apathetic staff member who simply said 'ignore the emails, we will collet tomorrow' Tuesday comes and goes and no collection, as does Wednesday. Thursday I realise still no refund for online booking so now paid twice plus the £150 holding deposit. Local store call and say no one was available at our location for the pick up despite it being open and staffed from 7:30 - 5:30 daily. Now having been on hold for over 30 mins to speak to someone to try to lodge complaint. DISGRACEFUL SERVICE!! Will never use again!

Absolutely satisfied with the purchase

Awful customer service, no updates, delays and poor communication. Phone calls not returned, formal complaint not responded to and total lack of and miscommunication. Order was cancelled last week due to lack of faith in HSS and their staff, assured I would be refunded and it would be actioned last Thursday, still no refund but order arrived today with no notice or communication prior to arrival. If this is excellent customer service I must have got the wrong definition from the dictionary.

All the parts for the jet wash were not there and I had to travel across Liverpool to pick up the part. The same thing happed last year too. There was no breaker! I left my house at 8:15 am and was back for 10:15! The HSS shop is only 15 mins from my house. I was then promised d a discount but was charged the full amount. I still haven’t received my £50 deposit.

Ordered a bulk bag of topsoil and the topsoil is fine, would have been nice to know when to expect the delivery instead of it just being dumped on my lawn while I was at work. Communication is always good

I have purchased a fance panel on the 27 April and I still have not received on te 22 may

I got sent the feed back form They still have not delivered the item 10 days after the delivery date. Trying to contact anyone to see where the delivery is expected is impossible. Wish I had never placed the order !!

Ordered with HSS , delivered by Selco. Driver was very professional, was surprised to see a women but she was very good at her job, placed the item where was easiest for me. Very happy to use the companies again. 110% happy all round .

Delivered on time, collection helped us move the pieces so saved my back! The Wacker plate did exactly what we needed it to do!

I've been using HSS for years mainly hire of tools and large equipment diggers ect.recently I've got a fair amount of wood from HSS it's good quality no smashed edges or broken corners as always my orders were handled professionally and I was kept up to date with the delivery I shall continue to use HSS for all my timber and hire equipment always.im really happy with the service definitely a leader in the hirer trade.

I recently purchased two bags of hallstone blended topsoil. I placed my order online which was a very easy process. I received an email with a delivery date and my topsoil was delivered as informed. The topsoil was of top quality to top dress my lawn. It had very little stones and I was delighted with it. I highly recommend and will order again.
