Hewlitt Packard Personal Review

Hewlitt Packard Personal Review – Negative I am not writing this to tell others not to purchase HP Products, but I will just relate my story and you can make your own mind up. I must first apologize as the exact dates might be a day or two off, you will understand when I get more into the details. On the 29th of August 2024, I ordered a HP Pavilion Laptop 16t-af000, 16" directly from HP. The laptop arrived the 14th of September. I installed all my person purchased programs, MS Office, Photoshop, those type of programs. I am not a gamer and am a 73-year-old retired government worker. I use it for personal reason nothing complicated. The first issue was I was unable to use the stylus on my touchscreen, not critical but I paid for touch screen. Once that happened it all turned bad and I started to have more and more issues with the laptop and I contacted HP every time at least twice a week. HP had techs and higher techs remote in and acknowledged the problems and all had one solution I believe they called a Cloud Boot. 1. Remove all programs and files to an external drive. 2. I was then told to totally wipe the hard drive clean. 3. I was to reinstall Windows 11 and then all my programs. (This process with removing, reinstalling took more than 6 hours.) Prior to doing all the above I asked HP since they acknowledged the issues why don’t they just send me a new one and I will send this one back. They said they couldn’t do that and only replace items if damaged in shipment (Good to know). Their other solution was to take it to a HP Certified repair shop. I contacted the one suggested and was told it would probably take 3-4 weeks IF they could fix it. This is the only PC I have and have been working around the issues but still getting stuff down but takes about 50% more time. The contact between myself and HP continued with a multitude of techs remoting in, assigning case numbers, resending to a different tech that was a specialist in this area of repair. I have about 8-10 case numbers all of them still sitting there either closed or they just don’t care. They have called and then sent emails stating sorry they missed me on phone and they would appreciate a good time and day to call which I gave them. I waited 2 hours from the set time and nothing. I called the number and go the recording that this number is not available at this time and try again later. The tech connected to that number finally sent me an email apologizing that he was on vacation/. So here I sit with an expensive hunk of junk that Hewlitt Packard could care less about. The simplest solution would be to just replace the one sent to me with a new one and I wouldn’t be sitting here writing this. The laptop still has all the issues with a new one poking its head up now and then but I have dealt with it. I believe that HP was at a loss and figured if I was ignored long enough that I would just go away. I wrote hard letters, not emails to several HP Executives but no acknowledgement of receipt and I am sure they made it to the shredder shortly after they got it. I am just one customer that HP won’t missed and I will be easily replaced. So all you prospective HP purchasers I hope maybe this gives you some insight in what might happen. It happened to me and who knows what else will go wrong. Laptop iffy and will not connect to one of my HP printers (new Issue) Just a heads up.

Printer scanning issues

I called three times to resolve an issue with scanning from my HP Office Jet Pro. All my calls were sent to agents in India. They did not listen to my questions and they did not resolve the issue.

Super firma

Szybka realizacja i dobre ceny – na pewno wrócę.

Meest waardeloze klantenservice ooit

Meest waardeloze klantenservice ooit.

HP OfficeJet Pro 8210

HP OfficeJet Pro 8210: Disappointed After 31 Years as an HP Customer Despite printing every week, the ink cartridges constantly dry out. If it says XL on the cartridge, it should actually contain XL ink — at least the price suggests that. Knowing from experience with my previous HP printer, I avoided the firmware update for as long as possible. But yesterday, HP forced it on me. Same story as last time: after the firmware update, the printer refused to print. Of course, all the cartridges suddenly show as empty, and third-party cartridges no longer work — conveniently "protected" by the firmware. After experiencing the exact same issue with two different HP printers, I will never buy or recommend HP again. Not for myself, my family, my friends, and especially not for the office. HP is being removed from everywhere I use it. This brand cannot and should not be supported. It’s an outright, intentional rip-off.

30 mins on chat waiting for a simple response, When I can see in the background coding that the person is multi chatting. When asked this they made up a lie. I bought the laptop and the next day they sent a email for the same product discounted. They didnt want to give me the deal. So waited 30 mins while they where chatting with other online people. Asher, wouldnt give more details about themselve to forward the complaint. This company needs to learn basic customer service. Will not do business with them again, first time burnt, never again. If this is a taste of customer support, hate to see if you have a warranty issue.

Extremely disappointed with HP Instant…

Extremely disappointed with HP Instant Ink. I’ve been a loyal customer for over 5 years, printing just 1–2 pages a month. One month, due to exam revision printing, I was charged £74 — with only one vague alert after 10 extra pages and no further warnings. I asked for a partial refund and reasonable compensation. HP offered 2 free months worth £12, which doesn’t come close to addressing the scale of the charge. Their “worry-free printing” promise is misleading at best, and the customer service was scripted and unhelpful. I’ve cancelled my plan — and I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone.

Great service from Evelyn

I ordered two pairs of stepprs for my plantar fasciitis, and found them nice and soft, they gave me some relief, compared with all the other products l got for my feet. I must say l have them 3 weeks, and they make my life easier, but if l am honest, the pain of my plantar fasciitis hasn’t gone away. I still ordered another pair and my order wasn’t the way l wanted it, so l emailed a girl called Evelyn, and she got me sorted out again. l must say the service was very good, and l wasn’t that long waiting for them. All l can say is , well done Evelyn you did the company proud.

Replaced my 8 year old deskjet printer…

Replaced my 8 year old deskjet printer with hp deskjet 2820. Started to set up just after 7am. Git stuck wouldn’t talk to devices vice versa. After 8am tried chat line support. Not online. Tried later and was told simple problem… so simple that at 4.30pm..so I’d been trying for 9.5 hours by then still not talking to each other. All devices and printer on internet, just wouldn’t talk to each other. I was made to feel stupid. I was told simple problem I was told and promised so much. I was in tears in frustration but still they carried on. Eventually MacBook would print, but nothing else. I don’t always use MacBook for quick things. Info does not state will not work with latest iPhone. Argos excellent, refunded the money and ordered another one in the hope that will work and not take me another 9.5 hours. What company can pay staff to chat for all that time and not resolve anything? Dreadful experience, directors will get copy of chat when I can find a way to print it off.

I bought a HP Pavilion just over a year…

I bought a HP Pavilion just over a year ago. If you are looking to purchase, I wouldn't bother. The mouse pad is way too big so when you type you constantly touch it and the mouse bounces all over the place and starts typing somewhere else randomly on the page. Even with the mouse pad turned down to it's lowest sensitivity setting. The mouse is also not very responsive. Once you have clicked on a folder (for example) you will need to wait approx 3-4 seconds for it to open which slows down productivity and flow. I will absolutely will not be purchasing HP again.

Beware: HP Envy x360 Warranty Support Is a Nightmare — defective Laptop & Hours of Wasted Time

I bought an HP Envy x360 less than half a year ago, and it has constant sound failures, crashes, and freezes that make it unusable for work. After months of back-and-forth with HP support, countless troubleshooting steps, and sending my laptop in for “repair,” the issues persist. HP’s final offer was a prorated refund of only $475 on an $1,100 laptop — an insulting amount that doesn’t come close to covering a replacement or the time lost. Their customer service feels dismissive, unhelpful, and more focused on avoiding real solutions than fixing problems. Don’t make the same mistake I did — think twice before buying HP.

A total rip-off by 3 months subscription on paper and ink.

The worst printer I have come across totally useless and a total rip off by HP we bought this spring printer eight months ago with a free trial of subscription of paper and ink. Three months later we decided that once the deal is finished we would stop it. We stopped but the next month they’re still taking money off a credit card, even though we had a confirmation email saying that the subscription is stopped. he was then told that we can still use the printer if we were to buy our own paper in our own ink which we did. unfortunately they bring the no longer worked when we called customer service or technical support. We were stored that our printer is no longer covered by warranty even though the printer it’s only eight months old. I’ve always trust HP as a good brand but I’m so disappointed with this and I feel like I’ve been ripped off and I will never buy anything with HP on it be aware this is pretty much a scam by HP
