Very helpful, spoke to Jay Brown and he made the process very easy.
The WiFi serviced were ok- did not have any problems while I was their customer, which is why this is not a 1 star review. The problems started when I tried to end my connection as I was moving home. Despite calling, emailing, and talking to their customer service on chat, they still haven't been able to end my connection and send me monthly bills. Unprofessional and shady AF

I would like to cancel my plan since I am still in the cooling-off period; however, I have not received any response. I have spent a lot of time trying to reach out by calling 01403216133 and 03333440630, but no one answers the calls. When someone does pick up, my call is transferred, and I receive no response thereafter.

Had some trouble getting my WiFi order complete when it was supposed to be live from 4th March. Both Sam and Michael in the orders team were very helpful and sorted out my issue quickly between them and even advised where I can go to buy a new master socket faceplate Wonderful experience!

After a very stressful time and not knowing what to do without any internet. Being greeted on the phone by Sarah was such a relief. What probably seemed a simple task to her was something I would have felt very daunted by if it wasn't for her exceptional explaining skills patient and understanding. Nothing was too much of a bother and she never made me feel rushed even going that one step further and helping me set up my TV. Thank you Sarah you helped a lot going the extra mile for me today.
So originally I went with a company called "Openfibre" at 999mbps via MS3 in Hull around October 2024. We received excellent broadband service and all was going well until... Hometelecom brought some accounts from Openfibre around Nov/Dec 2024 which unfortunately included my account. I was automatically enrolled into Hometelecom accounts. Now this is where the problems started. First of all the started overcharging me for the original service I had agreed too as per the contract agreement. Secondly the broadband service kept dropping with speeds only hitting around 100mbps even at none peak times. TV streaming was becoming unbearable to watch at times and gaming was continuously glitching. Thirdly their customer service is very poor indeed - after ringing up and emailing with my concerns of the above they (Hometelecom) promised they would sort it. To which at first they did and received a refund for the overcharging. Fast forward to now (a month) and yet again I'm experiencing the exact issues as mentioned about. **Update - Have now since spoken to Hometelecom and a plan has been put in to place. They've gained a star, I'll update again when the plan comes in to affect if the problems are resolved.
