Another falsehood. They tell me I will save gbp250 per year by paying the cheapest available price for an electricity only deal they offer me but the unit kwh rate and the daily charge are both higher than I currently pay so how will this deal save me money? Answer IT WONT. so don't believe anything they tell you is my advice. Got this via Money Saving Expert, so same applies to them! Useless both of them!
Speedy & helpful email response to a problem submitting metre readings on line. Only loses a star because of the problem with the website making the enquiry necessary in the first place.

Tried to take an estimated amount of over Β£500 within days of signing up, from our account. Explained this would empty it out. Emails answered sarcastically. No offer of help. Cancellation email reply began with 'HEY John'. Unprofessional

What a terrible company.Signed up to these shysters about a month ago and everything seemed fine until there was a problem with my gas smart meter not submitting readings.So I manually read the meter and submitted my gas reads via their website and everything seemed good until I received an email from saying your account has been closed.I called the customer service number to be told we can only supply your electricity but not your gas,i asked for explanation but the representative could not give me one.Now with Octopus.Stay well away and pay a few quid more.

Poor customer service. Long wait tmes. SO changed its website and asked everyone to log on again. For those customers who assumed that this was one of the routine emails among so many, loging on proved to be impossible. Why ddn't the new website have a link explaining the situation? It would hve saved me and SO staff a lot of time and trouble.

My calls have been handle mostly by lady called Ms Sabrina after Mr Jatinder. Before ringing Home Energy I am very hot and angry but this handles everything very friendly, courteously, assuring she there to solve problems but company has IT problems where her work is awarded and we still suffering from the bloody start which is not good reflection for future services Please kindly solve our problem ASAP and do expect some compensation for these all harassment till resolve
