It is easy to buy Insurance with Heymondo.com however, I had to contact Customer service to include two countries in my trip.
Haven't made a claim (and hopefully won't need to), so my review is based on the policy purchase process. On the website as you're working your way through the purchase, the information on screen isn't very clear and leaves you with questions, e.g. are the cover limits per person? How do you increase electrical cover to 100% of the baggage? Is it 50% by default or do you have to add that too? Etc. However customer service are very helpful and quick to respond and they clarified everything for us, allowing us to continue to buy the policy. If the information on the site had been better in the first place though, we could have completed the purchase much faster and not have to send in a query.

Chiesto risarcimento via PEC per ritardo aereo di 17 ore come da indicazioni 40 giorni fa, ma nulla ,non mi hanno fatto sapere nulla se non rispondendo alle mie mail di sollecito e scusandosi per il ritardo ,dicono che mi faranno sapere entro la prossima settimana (dovevano essere 30/40giorni e sono diventati 50!!! ) ... chissà... Aspettiamo.. Famiglia di 3 persone .

Very easy insurance application process. The price for our trip was highly competitive against a few other brokers, while level of underwriting is guaranteed by large insurance companies. I hope I will not have to use the policy for claims, but the steps of purchasing were as flawless as I would wish.
Sent an email yesterday 18th of October asking for travel insurance advice... Got a reply that evening and was all sorted by the following day... Fantastic Customer Service... The person who replied was called Vanessa... Exceptional service...
Easy process to book a travel insurance
Dishonest, cheap and unreliable travel insurance. Heymondo customer service is kind and responsive until a refund claim is submitted, then their fraudulent insurance provider pays a simbolic amount, far from fulfilling the coverage agreed by contract, and both become totally unresponsive. I subscribed witha friend a travel insurance policy with Heymondo for a trip to Indonesia and Thailand. One day our boat to Bali from Lombok-Gili T was cancelled last minute due to bad weather. We had a flight Bali-Bangkok to catch and our last flight Bangkok-Vienna. We contacted Heymondo and they said we had "Travel delay due to transport 1.500 €" and "Missed connecting flight 1.000 €". There was no way to reach Bali, but we had a flight Lombok-Bangkok which was also the cheapest solution to avoid missing the subsequent flight. This resulted in 874€ expenses, 432€ each. Here the problems began: I had to contact multiple times Heymondo and Iris Global, the insurance service supplier, before they finally processed my claim after more than 60 days (against the set 20-30 days). They paid 100€, provided no explanation why and answered no further requests of clarification. I submitted an official reclamation via the consumer association OCU for fraudeolent contract breach.
