I’m still discouraged and perplexed with the outcome of this heating system installed by Hafod and personally won’t recommend this company.

Made an enquiry for a Tesla charger installation - took weeks to get a response. When quote was finally submitted it was incorrect, but more to the point at least £500 more than the competition. Now they are ignoring my emails. Not impressed, look elsewhere.
Good product, good trades persons who attended But a lack of communication or organization from the company made it unnecessarily difficult and despite many attempts to contact we struggled to receive information on what was happening and when, call lines appear to go unanswered it's not clear if the company has subcontracted out many or most of the works to be completed I had to chase dates and invoices PS the scaffolding is still up and we have no idea when the contractors are attending to take it down
Install was great, no real issues just teething problems. Support has been good too, that saves this review from 2 stars. Problems are as follows. We were sold a screen that didn’t work with the battery supplied and a hot water diverter that never worked. The display was refunded and after many months of emails and calls we got a partial refund on the diverter. Latest issue is that we were told via email the battery would cover us for power cuts, it doesn’t without extra cost/work/components.
Installation carried out by sub contractor who left leaks and had to be called back. That also didn't put the buffer where I asked so this also caused issues in a cramped space. Ive also not had any responses to follow up emails or phone messages requesting a tutorial as I didn't receive one from the installer at the time. Beware as if my experience is the norm the after sales support is very poor. Update - a further 2 months on and I've been trying to contact them via phone and email. Still no replies to email and each phone call goes to a message with no one ever getting back to me. So disappointing from hafod. Steer clear is my advice.
Highly recommend this firm for a solar installation. Work was delayed by a few weeks due to a shortage of micro invertors, which meant we missed the Summer daylight hours but the installation went ahead, without a hitch in atrocious weather. From the salesperson, to the office staff, to the site installation team, we found Hafod to be easy to deal with and extremely helpful, taking time to explain in detail everything we needed to know.

System installed 10 days ago -working well. Initial contact and representative (Roger) very good; fitting (Sean + 2 roofers) excellent; telephone contact very poor. Latter really needs sharpening up - it lets an otherwise very good business down - hence 4 not 5 stars. I hope the boss reads this.
We contacted hafford and made an appointment, had it confirmed with Molly Harrison via email. for 13 09 2022 today at 11am. They never showed up, didn't answer the phone we tried 6 times got an auto switch board. No one has rung us back, then we get an email from Roger the estimator saying its basically our fault, as I had sent some queries about an online quote he sent us ? He had decided to dis-engage with us and cancel the appointment we had booked and confirmed with Molly, But he didn't bother to let us know. We have waited in all morning, we have offered to stay in if they could still make today, but seems like Roger has decided not to engage with us again. ??? Really ?? Ps. We have all emails to prove what we say is true and we have phone records to show the unanswered calls. We had only dealt with Molly and we didn't even know who this Roger was, we thought it was a pre visit thing. Would you pay for solar panels install costing over £20K with out a visit? we wouln't!
The whole process of buying and installing was straight forward. It was easy to discuss the proposals. The costs were set out clearly, and the installation team worked quickly and efficiently to install everything as planned.
Prompt efficient service, just waiting for the batteries to arrive, the panels etc came on the 13th July as promised, so hope the batteries arrive soon to complete the deal

Gave the best quote of the companies I approached. Installation was very quick and efficient. The Installation team pointed out I could have fitted more panels than the guy who came out to survey/quote thought, so immediately ordered 3 more. Just waiting for the battery to turn up and I'll be pretty much self sufficient for most of the year. 3.6 kwh panels 10kwh battery EV Charging point...just need an EV now!

Just had Solar PV installed by Hafod having had a 6KW array previously in Ireland. From the beginning, Huw the sales advisor was great, he knew his stuff and explained everything clearly and concisely with no pressure selling at all, such a breath of fresh air these days. We ordered and Shaun and Ben installed in the 1 day, ensured everything was perfectly commissioned and Shaun took us through the whole equipment very precisely. From day one we have been generating more than we consume and have just applied for Export payments. In conclusion, my previous knowledge and the overall sales, installation, commissioning and after sales has been really good and I'm afraid that's definitely a rare occurrence these days. Full marks, if you're considering renewables, you won't be disappointed with Hafod

Hafod installed my Solar Panel installation about 8 years ago I had no problems at all with the installation. Because of the rising electricity prices I recently added a further couple of Solar Panels and Hafod also added Battery installation at our house. All completed satisfactory and my daily usage of electricity is now about £1.20 per day. Well worth the cost of installation. Thanks Ian.

After the initial scoping/sales visit (not really needed as we knew what we wanted), things went smoothly in terms of arranging an engineer visit to decide on panel placement (we've an odd shaped roof) and where the battery and inverter would be located. Installation date was set, we were informed of a last minute change to the spec owing to supply issues. The install itself went smoothly over 2 days as predicted and then was up and working straight away with no issues so far a couple of months in. A few tiles broken by the scaffolding were replaced too so all happy.
The actual installation by Sean went very well and was completed within a day. Just a slight problem with a switch which was changed at a later time. After- sales seems to very good so far. They are a very good company and knowledgeable. Pre-sales needs a bit more thought. It took me a lot of time and research to arrive at the system I wanted. - after the initial estimate. An estimate was provided without really matching my requirements. My requirements should have been discussed at the pre contract stage. I feel if I hadn't done the research I would not have been totally satisfied with the system as it would have fallen short of what I actually wanted. Having said all that I am satisfied with the system so far and particularly as the after sales service has been very good
