Had a site survey performed by Hafod, then a paid technical survey performed by Hafod all before Hafod designed, contracted and installed a “heating system” outside of their own competent person scheme who have since stated “this is not a heating system.” Now the entire setup is destined for the bin along with 4 replacement lintels all at my own expense after nearly 2 years of ongoing dispute whilst Hafod now state “please stop sending in the emails to me, Hafod and Certas, as these can no longer be accepted”

Failed to turn up today as promised replace heating system which has not worked correctly since purchased 3 years ago. Reason given that engineer no longer works for them. They failed to reschedule that work to someone else or inform me that an alternative date required. Promised call back to confirm new date, but this hasn't happened They seriously need to work on their customer service as not 1st time call back not happened

I’m still discouraged and perplexed with the outcome of this heating system installed by Hafod and personally won’t recommend this company.

The solar system is now fixed after nearly 2 months and countless phone calls and emails. The scafolding came down on the 12th march. I sent a letter of complaint to the new Managing Director of Hafod explaining everything and got a sorry and to restore my faith in Hafod I should be greatfull for having a fully working system now.

We have a hybrid air source heat pump, installed by Hafod in April 22. We had some initial problems with the installation which took a while to iron out, but Hafod staff have been attentive and have worked through all the issues. Today they have come out and fixed a minor breakdown. I would recommend Hafod. These systems are complex, but Hafod do have the manpower and they will follow up when you need them.

Taking the plunge into solar energy was easy with Hafod. They gave me a good deal on a system appropriate for my bungalow. The installation was performed by a first class team in a day. The only reason for not giving 5 stars was that their communication could be better, it didn’t quite match up to what they said would happen. Thinking about making enquiries for alternative heating options I will certainly be contacting Hafod for an estimate

Do not use Hafod! I have had a heat pump installed in August 2022 by Hafod costing £13.5k (£5k was government grant). In less than a year the element to cylinder failed, it kept on taking out circuit to my consumer unit. Not knowing the cause I paid for electrician who advised it was the element. It has taken 6 months for Hafod to come back to me saying it's not under warranty and want charge me £350 to fix. I'm challenging this, needless to say to avoid any problems I would encourage people to seek a company more reputable and avoid these disputes. Although Hafod finally solved the issue with my hot water cylinder after seeking legal advice, the second element has failed, clearly this shouldn't be happening and clearly a fault with the install.

Where shall I start.. - assessment of panel position by sales person was wrong and we ended up having to agree to a different layout to achieve the KWh we wanted. - Battery and Inverter wrongly connected which meant battery wasn't charging up - it took ages and many phone calls to get it sorted - We were sold second battery even though the installed inverter is not powerful enough to cope with this. As the people in the know they should have made us aware of this but didn't and we spent £5000 unnecessarily. No refund, no taking responsibility, just a mere:"we send you a info leaflet" - In short.. the selling went fast but everything after had to be chased and chased. The only good note: Installers of solar panels were amazing.

Will and the team were excellent, super polite and professional v tidy install and now enables our Limb-art business to run carbon neutral, one small issue with a display on one of the units but one phone call and they were out the next day to replace the unit ... top marks

Once the slight mix up about where the panels would go and extra scaffolding was sorted everything went smoothly. The installation team of Will, Jay and Steve were excellent and went that extra mile to hide so many of the cables in the eves of our dorma bungalow. Very neat and tidy work from start to finish and a pleasure to work with. Even with the wet weather we had this July. All up and running, panels, battery and EV charging point.

Just had commissioned a 5.6kw Solar system and a GivEnergy 13.5kw All in One battery. The panels and GivEnergy hardware looks top end quality. The process from start to finish was very professional, and the installation by Will and his team was particularly good. A high level of knowledge and competence shown throughout. Very pleased with the system, would recommend Hafod and GivEnergy to anyone.

Been a year since install. Took them 6months approx to fix batteries. Damaged roof needs replacement Lost confidence as supplier. No longer answering emails. Work was subcontracted and a substandard level.

Speedy installation of our solar panels and battery and we are really happy with how they work. Thank you!

Pleasant team everything fully explained, organised fast and deliver what's agreed. Currently monitoring app and battery still charges on rainy days.

Im so glad I went to Hafod to get my solar and tesla powerwall , the initial visit from site engineer to the roofing and installation guys has been probably the best purchasing experience for some time , the installation took slightly longer than expected due to workload ( everyone wants solar) now im sitting in the sun and im totally off grid just need to sort out the standing charge , Absolutley 10/10 for Hafod Renewables Thanks Again

We started getting quotes from National companies last year,2022 and were not too impressed with the prices,products and information provided so decided to give local installers Hafod a call.From the moment that Roger arrived to explain the service and the installation that Hafod could supply we were impressed.Roger explained everything in language we could understand and answered patiently all the questions we asked.From then all went smoothly,the fitting teams headed by Sean arrived when they said they would,they were polite,efficient and left the place spotless.Scaffolding was removed quickly and on a quite gloomy 1st December the system started generating power,not a lot but impressive for the weather conditions,It has generated so much on bright winters day that we have applied to return some to the grid in summertime as the battery has been filled even on winter days.All in all if you want a quality service give Hafod a call,we dont think you will regret it

Best decision we ever made! We received a fabulous service through Hafod. Always got back to us with queries. The fitting went very well and we were surprised how simple the system is to use, and add to. We didn’t expect to get such a good input, even in cloudy winter days. It was something we should have done years ago and I’m so glad we but the bullet and did it! The difference it’s made to our energy bills is incredible!

Payment......sensibly divided into deposit ,second payment few days before work started final payment on receipt of final documentation and confirmation of system working properly and efficiently Installation....Prompt very short lead time from confirming order to actual installation. installation itself efficient and tidy with minimal disturbance. Givenergy inverter and Battery installed linking my computer to Givenergy web caused a little problem basically due to my lack of computer knowledge Overall experience .....brilliant, workmen efficient and tidy work practices very ready to accept suggestions and ideas as to where wiring and equipment should be sited. Suggestion...........To Givenergy ...having personally experienced the use of Inverters on canal boats..fit a cooling fan to the Hybrid Inverter Personal Opinion.....WE HAVE NO HESITATION IN RECOMMENDING HAFOD RENEWABLES TO ANYBODY CONSIDERING THE INSTALLATION OF SOLAR/PHOTOVOLTAIC SYSTEM. IN THE LAST 3 MONTHS SINCE INSTALLATION THE SYSTEM HAS EXCEEDED EXPECTATIONS
