Hafod Renewables proved to be friendly and efficient. They made face to face contact by sending a consultant to establish my needs (unlike some other companies), there was no hard sell, and the quotation was tailored to meet my requests. All of the staff I dealt with in the administrative office were friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. The installation took less time than expected.

The new installation was carried out quickly and the contractor who installed it is a nice guy and knows his job. The pump was commissioned and working well for a few weeks until the existing pipework which in our house was buried below the floor in concrete started leaking and flooded the house. a few desperate emails to Hafod and a few phone calls didn't spark a reaction or reply. I desperately contacted the contractor who told me to switch everything off. It was a bank holiday and i didnt expect anyone to rush out that day but we didn't get any response from Hafod and my 78 year old mother in law had no heating or hot water. a few days passed and i tried to contact Hafod again who in turn passed the email over to the contractor who contacted me to see if he could help, as it was exisiting pipework they cannot do anything to help us. So after spending over £13000 we are now having to re plumb the house. Thankfully its the summer time now and we have an electric shower. So now need to find the funds to carry out this work. Did i expect Hafod to re plumb our house NO but i did expect some help or assistance from them. The system works fine and we are pleased with this (when not leaking) Should they have surveyed and suggested new pipes prior to installation ? probably. SO IF YOUR THINKING OF GETTING A HEAT PUMP THEN DO SOME EXTRA HOMEWORK INTO WETHER YOUR EXISTING PIPEWORK WILL TAKE THE 1.5 BAR PRESSURE.

We had our solar panels fitted last week, and the whole experience from start to finish has been wonderful. From very reasonable quote (without lots of follow up cold calls), to the fitting from a very friendly you man, we are extremely pleased with the service we have had. We also have had the added bonus of only using our own generated electricity and feeding back to the grid. Win Win. I highly recommend.

4kw system quoted for and price inline with expectation. Took 1 day to fit and all within timeline agreed. Fitting crew very efficient and friendly. Very impressed with system and looks good. Looking forward now to the savings. Had several positive comments already. Thank you.

I note the response by Hafod Renewables that they regret they were not able to achieve the RHI deadline. This is a repeat woeful and disrespectful response. They completely cocked up, their admin is in disarray, they tried to overcharge me and they caused me to lose out on the RHI grant costing me thousands.

Hafod supplied our air source heat pump, hot water tank and underfloor heating. This was all undertaken professionally and with the utmost care. They were helpful in accommodating our needs when we had to liaise with other trades and I would not hesitate to recommend them.

Hafod fitted a hybrid boiler/central heating system for us. The work wasn't simple as the boiler was relocated, but they did it as quickly as they could. The job was finished off very tidily, we're very pleased with it.

Chose Hafod as it is long-established and has won several nationally-recognised awards, which offered us confidence in its ability to deliver as promised. I could also see other local and national case studies on its website so I knew that previous customers were verifiably satisfied. There has also been media coverage of Hafod's other projects, showing that the management team is committed to green energy. We received good advice at the initial consultation and survey stages on how many panels we needed and the potential outputs, plus which battery. I cross-checked with other suppliers that the price was competitive. Stage payments were acknowledged so I knew they'd gone through OK, and a suitable date set. The installation team turned up as planned and were helpful - they suggested a different, more secure but not as accessible location for the battery and other kit and explained their reasoning. They were very tidy (cleaning up as they went) and courteous and I had full confidence in their work. They also talked me through the app and all the relevant IT, which is pretty straightforward. Even though it's now winter we are already getting a trickle of energy, even on overcast days. It's powering my computer as I type this. Looking forward to when it's working at full output so I can charge my electric car as well.

I prefer to deal with local contractors as long as they are professional, give good comprehensive advice, are friendly without being slick and communicate well. Hafod fulfilled all of these criteria. They were competitive in price. The engineers who fitted the panels were courteous and barely stopped all day although I did keep them supplied with coffee. I have gone on to order battery storage too. Highly recommended

We are happy to give Hafod the highest rating because of their diligence. They were very clear about when they said they would carry out the works. They turned up as promised. They kept everywhere tidy as they worked and we appreciated every aspect. Lee's methodology was concise and efficient. We would have no hesitation to recommend them to others.

The Hafod fitters, Iwan and Matthew, were very efficient, informative, as unobtrusive as possible given the nature of the installation, and cleaned up and made good very well. The paperwork from Hafod has been punctually delivered and has caused us minimal fuss. We have already recommended Hafod's ASHP installation work to two friends.

Installation of the Heat Source Pump system was fairly smooth. All workmen were polite and friendly. The only slight disappointment was the leakage from the old radiators which stained the carpets, but this was rectified. There were some initial trouble shooting after installation, but again these were rectified to our satisfaction. The handover was very brief - perhaps because it was 6.30pm on a Friday night! We would have appreciated a brief guidance note on the what was mentioned to us during handover (as already forgotten) rather than the large / thick technical document that was left with us! Would recommend Hafod to others. Thank you.

We had underfloor heating and an air source heat pump installed by Hafod Renewables in May. Installation was very good and though we had a couple of leaks from the pump manifolds these were attended promptly. I would recommend this company for all renewable energy projects.

Hafod Renewable Energy recently installed in roof solar panels and storage battery, an air source heat pump and replacement radiators. They liaised with the company that were replacing our roof to instal the solar panels. They kept us informed at all times of the time scale and order of work. Their staff were very approachable and accommodating and worked with us to ensure the system was how we wanted it. Their quote was very competitive and we are very pleased with the installation.

Good price. Great service. Getting the power they said I would.

A good level of customer care and service. Quality workmanship on fitting of unit and removal of old boiler. A good explanation on how to operate the system. Not made clear as to removal of old pipework and fitting of insulation on energy efficient system.
