AVOID. Placed an order on 22nd October and was emailed to be advised of delays. Last week 3 of the 6 kettlebells ordered arrived one of which was badly damaged and unboxed. I have sent numerous emails to chase and was today contacted by Abbie who advised me I should try contacting UPS direct and provided my tracking number no mention of the damaged item. No contact number for the company and no ownership taken for missing or damaged items. Steer clear

My first order with Gym Sets was a 14kg kettlebell. It arrived via FedEx, and when I opened the box, a fair amount y of the black protective coating had come off the kettlebell. I’m guessing it had been dropped. I contacted Gym Sets, and got in contact with Abbie, who sent me a returns label. I sent the damaged one back via Fed Ex. I didn’t hear anything from Gym Sets and after 2 weeks re-contacted Abbie. She was very apologetic and the following day , my New kettlebell arrived undamaged. I was surprised as whoever had packed it, didn’t use any protective wrapping and the nylon packing straps were very loose and one was missing. Ironically the damaged one had arrived with foam padding and bubble wrap. Despite , the damage to the first item, which was probably caused in transit, I wouldn’t hesitate to use Gym Sets again.

I ordered a power rack in September. I knew at that time it was pre order. Expected delivery 10/11/25 which seemed acceptable for the price i paid. I realised on the morning of delivery day i hadn't received any update including tracking so i called them. The staff member said that he was sorry but it was delayed until 16/12/25. I was extremely unhappy and asked first how could it be delayed by the same amount of time as the original pre order. Well I've worked it out, it wasn't a delay to the original order, they'd simply accepted more orders than they could cater for and just did another pre order with my money and expected me to be happy and accept that I also then said i wasn't happy as I'd had no update and asked why no-one had told me and that I'd only found out by me chasing them. He said 'it's not standard procedure to' i said 'are you joking? It's not standard practice to update customers of delays?' Absolutely ridiculous. So i have now received a full refund. Stay away. Terribly ran company with bad business practices and very poor 'standard practices'

Had a wonderful experience with Gym Sets. I ordered 2 sets of dumbbells, which was 4 parcels. Sadly FedEx lost one parcel and before I even contacted Gym Sets, they reached out to me to see if I’d had any deliveries as the tracking hadn’t updated since they’d despatched. Gym Sets sent me another dumbbell and it was delivered the next day. The customer service I received was amazing, I couldn’t recommend them enough. My personal thanks to Will who was faultless throughout. He made the whole experience a pleasure.

Scam company avoid at all costs. I suspect the 4 and 5 star reviews are by people who have been paid to write them. Pre ordered adjustable dumbbells and a squat machine in September. Delivery dates advertised were 10th November for the dumbbells and 29th December for the squat machine. I later looked on their website and found the squat machine advertised with a delivery date moved forward. I contacted them to ask whether this would apply to my order and 2 days later they responded and said it wouldn't and it was for new orders only. Fast forward to today 12th November and I again emailed them to enquire where my dumbbells were. This time I received a quicker response telling me they had been delayed until January. I have now requested a full refund without the cancellation fee these scammers want to charge!!! Avoid you have been warned!

Ordered items on the 29/10 it’s now the 12/11 - was provided a tracking number for DPD - this didn’t work and told me the address was wrong. Received an email telling me the item was out of stock and would be back in on the 25th. Wouldn’t have minded except it was a birthday gift - wasted everyone’s time

Bought a set of olympic bumper plates (27th October - today is 11th November) that was advertised as in-stock and to be delivered within a few days (and is still being advertised the same way today). Delivery label created, but no sign of the item. Emailed the company and received a response a couple of days later saying "I am sorry this has not yet been sent this should have been on its way to you by now to resolve this, I have flagged this up to our warehouse team to look into this for you. Our warehouse team shall find your shipment in our warehouse and get this out to yourself on priority within the next 3 working days, I am very sorry for any inconvenience here.". I'm assuming they are just a drop shipper and don't actually stock the items, as I don't know why it takes 3 business days to look in the warehouse and provide an honest and transparent update regarding where the item is. If the item turns up, I will update the review accordingly, but as things stand, it looks like a scam. Advice to company: * Provide accurate delivery estimates * Improve customer support response times * Improve transparency and honesty in response comms * Replace 'vip' 10% code with a genuine, personalised discount code that provides more than 10% for loyal customers (you can get a 10% code just by googling or being a student, so it's not very VIP)

Great products delivered on time - communication was great from them to make sure that I received everything and they were always on hand with any questions I had - highly recommended

I bought some Dumbells from Gymsets as they had the exact weights I wanted at a very good price.I received my order within two or three days and was very pleased with them.Any queries regarding delivery I had were quickly and efficiently dealt with by Sam who is the founder of the company.Overall a positive experience and I wouldn't hesitate to use Gym Sets again.

Ordered Gym flooring mats, hex dumbbells and plate weights. Hex DB’s arrived within a few days - kept being told flooring was on its way, was even sent a picture and tracking number which didn’t work. Eventually advised mats were out of stock and wouldn’t be available until January. Requested refund for flooring which was granted. 7 days on from last contact and still don’t have money back. Also still no sign of plate weights. Extremely frustrated as upon ordering was advised everything would arrive in 2-3 days. Will not use again.

I ordered a bar and weights wet then realised that not only was I going away a few days later but our access road was potentially about to flood, so I contacted Gym Sets and got a call from Charlie who ensured that the product was shipped immediately. Evri then lost part of the parcel but Charlie reassured me that it would be delivered the following day. Not only is the product fantastic and great value but it was so nice to have emails responded to and to receive a phone call assuring me that it was all in hand. A fantastic small business who I Will definitely buy from again.

We ordered a plyobox for our gym but on arrival it wasn’t quite what was required (we have very specific needs due to our clientele). The website is confusing with regards to returns. You have to contact customer services. The phone rings but no one picks up. However, Harriet eventually kindly returned my call and was excellent. She arranged return and was really polite. So overall excellent products and customer service, but returns info on website could be clearer

I’m fortunate to own a decent home gym, with a power rack, landmine and various ancillaries. I was recently shopping for some new bumper plates but I was surprised by how expensive my existing supplier was. I found Gym Sets online noting how good value their weights are. After ordering, the delivery was very efficient and I’m very pleased with the quality of the plated I ordered. I highly recommend Gym Sets.

Jump box top notch compared to one purchased via Temu. I bought a jump box from Gym Sets and at the same time one via Temu which looked almost identical. The Temu one turned out to be of far lower quality solely due to the fact that it is filled with a different material and is therefore much less stable. I recommend paying the higher price for the Gym Sets one.

Great products, exceptional customer service. We ordered a bench and gym flooring from gym sets ltd. The bench is exactly what we wanted, sturdy but lightweight enough to move around and the flooring is great. There was a slight issue when we ordered more flooring and it didn't connect with what we had previously, but Jack from customer service was EXCELLENT and sorted out the problem quickly and made it very easy for us. I would recommend this company.

The GYM Sets support team was first class. I had a problem with partial delivery of a set of dumbbells and they sorted the problem out quickly. It was so refreshing to be able to speak to a person on the phone who answered quickly. Well done Leas and Harriet.
