Most all the meals are really good. However, one of the meals with steak, the meat was pretty tough.
We love most all the meals. They are healthy and the portions are just right for us. Wish they would switch to basmati rice for some of the recipes but otherwise yum.
Most of the meals are delicious, and restaurant quality. The food is fresh and the produce crisp.
I have gotten green chef for about three months now. I’m a single mom and I like the ease of having to not go to the grocery store and everything is there to make a delicious meal. What I don’t like is that very often it’s not organic, the fish is farmed and it’s way more expensive per serving to buy wild caught or have organic chicken. On top of that some of the food has been of lower quality then if I were to go purchase it at the store and again, I question the quality and freshness of the meat.
We have loved every meal we have received! The prep is easy and the food delicious!
Delivery service (Fedex) delayed the delivery by more than a day even though package was presumably out for delivery on time. A few days later we unexpectedly received a replacement of all our meals for the week! Thanks, Green Chef!
I enjoy the convenience of Green chef. Meals are typically easy to make and taste delicious. I would like to see more tofu dishes with high protein tofu.

The delivery driver for GreenChef hit our mailbox and damaged it in a way that cost us $1200 in repairs through our HOA and the company would take no credit for this as they said the drivers are a separate company! I will never order from them again, and honestly if they don’t care how dangerous their drivers are, what kind of company is this?!?!

The meals are very fresh, imaginative and organic and I have saved on grocery bills. I love to cook and am discriminating so these meals meet my expectations!

Great food but FedEx abused the box then left it on its side blocking my storm door from opening. One of the ice packs had burst and goo was all over inside
The amount of chopping gets annoying, but the food is good. Would love if your company would chop more of the vegetables. Sometimes you do. I see carrots chopped prepackaged occasionally. Most of the time they are whole though.
On time delivery, fresh and raw ingredients, flavorful seasonings, easy to follow instructions= A Healthy Tasty Dinner.
Green Chef offers quality ingredients and very tasteful recipes that are easy and quick to prepare. The main complaints I have are meal selections being limited to cheaper cuts of meat and lower grade fish without paying a premium of $10 per serving (that’s $20 extra per meal for two people alone). Sometimes ingredients are different, missing or rotting which is a pain as you have to drive to the store to replace them often last minute. Portions are small for a grown man, we’ve had to start buying bread to supplement for my husband to feel full after a Green Chef meal.

I had a frustrating experience trying to cancel my Green Chef subscription. Despite multiple attempts to cancel, I was still charged for meals I did not authorize. The process was confusing, exhausting, and felt completely robotic—it took at least six emails within an hour to address an issue that should have been straightforward. The customer service approach felt deliberately designed to wear me down, with disjointed responses and no clear path to resolution. After escalating to my payment provider to prevent further charges, I was eventually promised a refund, but the overall experience was unnecessarily complicated and time-consuming. I would not recommend Green Chef based on my experience.
